The only reason I’m giving them 2 stars is because they are really bad about getting back to you when you leave a message via telephone, text and or email. It takes too long when you need their assistance right away.

Took my first class this morning w/ Shellyn. House Chai: Slow Flow Yoga. I LOVED it!!! The room temp was perfect, Shellyn was amazing. Great workout and excellent way to start my day!! And the cold towel infused with eucalyptus oil handed out at the end of the class was such a treat - I was in heaven!!! 100 percent recommended!!! Also, easy parking and great location!!

Been doing pilates and hot yoga in the area for 2 years, so figure I'd try this place out with their intro pack. And what an intro it was.
This was my first time trying hot pilates; not sure if it really makes a difference tbh; the heat for hot yoga is for enhancing stretches, this just felt like uncomfortable pilates haha. I'm sure using two more classes would've given me a clearer picture...
Unfortunately, I got charged 60 bux to only attend one class. Why?
Well, for two absolutely awful customer service reasons.
1) I wasn't allowed into one class because it was 1 minute BEFORE the start time??? Nothing makes you feel like a valued customer more standing locked outside as an instructor looking at you dead in the eye and walking away. I've never experienced being locked out from ANYTHING in life like that, be it fitness-related, medical, educational, professional, etc. And, of course, they kept the credit.
2) I thought the class pack lasted 21 days from 1st class, as highlighted in the attachment below. Apparently they started the timer when I bought the package.. which was while I was out of town starting a new job orientation. No problem, it happens; I've had one hot yoga place in the area generously give me a 6 month extension once on my credits, so I'm sure something like a 1 week extension here would be no problem?
I'm told it costs 35 dollars for an extension. So, basically, charging more for a single class than to just buy it fresh. Cool.
Strict rules are fine; but give new customers some leeway at least to learn them before going nuclear on enforcing them?
I rarely leave reviews like this, but for all you anxiety-sufferers out there looking for a welcoming place that actually treats you like a human customer, this place isn't it. There are so many more welcoming places in the area that give grace and won't nickel-and-dime you.

The new hot studio is the best! Of the classes I’ve taken so far, each instructor has their own style of teaching and it’s so new and fresh. My favorite type of exercise so far!

Love the idea of hot pilates, you get a heated room to sweat more while doing floor pilates! The instructor and staff was sweet :) I’ll be back!

I’ve loved every class I’ve taken at Fit Pilates! The workouts are definitely more challenging than your average Pilates studio, and that’s exactly what makes it so effective. You’ll get an amazing workout, be pushed in the best way, and see real results. I really enjoyed the new client special and ended up purchasing a monthly membership because of how much I loved it. Excited to continue this fitness journey!

I enjoy the new studio and friendly instructors however was disappointed with the lack of communication on their website and third party apps. The instructions on parking weren't readily shared on the booking confirmation, I arrived at the studio slightly late due to parking and showed up exactly at 9:07 for a 9 am class. Because I was 7 minutes late, I was rejected and told they would not be able to let me in due to company policy. The two gals in front said "Due to policy we cannot let you in". I completely understand this rule and had wished it was properly stated on the booking confirmation so clients are well aware there needs to be ample time for parking and arrival.
Why the 2 star review?
The 2 star review is because the policy on the website states they cannot let clients in after 10 minutes. I've attached a screenshot. Therefore, I should've been allowed to enter the class. Moving forward, this should be clearly communicated and the staff should share correct information prior to turning away clients.
On a positive note, I was given back a credit for the class.
***EDIT*** 6/23
It’s sad that after an honest review, the studio would rather ban a client than listen to their feedback and apply it. Please note - I was not rude at all. What was shared on their response was incorrect, and it’s sad to see that they would call out a client being rude, when I simply shared the honest truth. For context, they had emailed me to take down my review that same day. Before giving me a chance to respond, they sent me another email to ban me immediately and remove my access. Therefore, this is not a business I would support given the nature of how this is handled.
I share this review with hopes that the business would acknowledge their mistake and improve for future clients. I wished they responded professionally but it was taken personally on their end. I’ve updated my rating due to this.

Fit culture Pilates is one of the funnest and most challenging Pilates classes I’ve attended! The athletics reformer classes with Liz are challenging and so rewarding. I’ve walked in very new to Pilates and walked out with a lot of great knowledge and base for any other classes I’ve taken. It’s great cross training/low impact for anyone who wants to do other workouts. I also love the small studio/community vibes. Everyone’s so friendly and nice. Highly recommend!

Had a great class with Kim and loved how accessible she made the workout. It was for sure challenging, but not too intimidating for a beginner like myself.

Decent pilates studio ruined by poor business management.
I started going to this studio with 3 of my girlfriends in hopes this would be where we get a great workout and keep in touch. When I'm writing this review, 3 of us have canceled our memberships. Overall I enjoyed most of the instructors, however, the business itself is sorely mismanaged and not customer-centric. Here are a few instances I experienced:
1- I was having an issue purchasing my membership, so I reached out to the customer service number and didn't hear back. I figured I would go to the studio in person and someone would help me. I went to the studio and told the instructor about the problem and she said don't worry about it, we will handle it after class. I got on the reformer and about 5 minutes into the class, in front of the entire class, I was told I had to leave. I was so embarrassed, especially because the issue was a technical issue with the app and not my fault.
2- I was charged a $20 missed class fee for a class that I attended. I reached out to the instructor of the class who then reached out to the owner to let them know I attended the class. The owner refused to refund me the fee. After correspondence, instead of recognizing their mistake, they gave me a credit to spend more on their merchandise, which I did not want. At this point 2 of my girlfriends quit for similar dealings so I canceled my membership.
I hope this helps someone else as they decide whether to attend this studio or not.

An amazing workout! Kara was thorough in her instructions and very motivational. She gave great tips and encouragement in the hour class. I highly recommend! I'm a pilates regular (have been taking classes on and off for about 5 years via peloton or other local classes) and can say that this was a great workout - it burned during class and I definitely felt it the day after!

This location opened up walking distance from my home, so I was very excited to give it a try! I was told by a friend to try out Kim's class and she did not disappoint! I haven't done Pilates in a number of years so I was a little nervous, but Kim's class was amazing. Her instructions are clear, she will demo moves only when really needed, and she will give you different options for levels of difficulty. Now that I have been going to her classes for sometime and we have a relationship she really pushes me and I feel myself getting stronger! Definitely recommend her classes to all who come to this studio.
The studio itself could use a little work. Would love to see some full length mirrors or just a mirror wall in the front. Depending on which reformer you are on sometimes you get caught in between mirrors so it's hard to check your form. I also think the props could be stored elsewhere and only taken out for classes that need them to open up the space a little more since it is small.

FCP gets a 4 for mainly/only because of Kim. She is amazing and offers challenging classes in a motivational way that leaves me wanting more!
I do think there are some improvements to be made in consistency of coaching, decor, and overall spacing of the studio.
If you’re going here, take Kim’s class! You won’t be disappointed!

I was so excited for this studio when it first popped up in Redondo Beach! My rating is 5 stars for the instructor, Kim but for the studio and experiences with other instructors I have done 3 stars.
Kims class is AMAZING! Her cuing keeps your form on point and keeps you in the smaller muscles that you didn’t even know existed. Kims always delivers a consistent and challenging class and is the reason I go to the studio. She is a challenging instructor but is approachable and if you are new to class she demonstrates the movement and walks around to make sure everyones form is on point.
Having to rate the studio as a whole I would say esthetically it’s chaotic and a little dingy. For being a new studio the machines are all rusted and are falling apart. There are props lining the walls which looks very chaotic and messy and make using the front of the machine very challenging. The speaker system is falling off the walls and the retail placement interferes with being able to use the back machines fully for the work out without bumping into something. Over all the inside is distracting, chaotic and is hard to fully focus on the workout. If I didn’t enjoy Kims class so much I would choose another studio.

This studio and class are were amazing!! I took the athletic reformer / spin class with Kim T, which really exceeded my expectations as someone who’s done traditional and megaformer Pilates for a decade. It was 25 min spin, each song having its own choreography (push ups, tap backs, etc.) which was challenging and got the sweat flowing. Then 25 min on the reformer which was more lagree/megaformer style (different instructors do more/less of this style, Kim and Lissette do more), which was modifiable to be easier or harder with different spring loads, variations, etc. They have other class formats without spin - like all athletic reformer, reformer LIT (lower intensity / more beginner) and jump board. If I lived closer to here I’d go to this place every week!! Will definitely check out their Torrance and San Pedro locations too.
