Great Little Gym
This gym is one of my favorites—not because it’s flashy or like the big-name fitness centers, but because it has everything you need. It’s small and straightforward, with all the essentials for basic strength training. The group classes are excellent, led by some truly skilled instructors. The yoga teacher is amazing and especially gifted. She is definitely one of the best teachers around. This is coming from a yoga certified gal. No I don’t teach but got certified to master the forms of yoga.

People here are chill, and the overall vibe is low-key—which I appreciate. If you’re not into the crowded, high-energy scene of larger gyms, this is a great alternative. The staff is friendly, though you won’t see them around much since it’s a smaller facility. Some equipment is currently being replaced, which is to be expected.

Overall, it’s a solid gym for those who want quality workouts without the big-gym feel.

I love coming to this gym it's clean and the staff is great but if you need to use some of their equipment especially at night, good luck as there's a lady who allows her kids to sit on the equipment like it's some kind of playground. I have no issue if someone needs to bring their kids but some of us are trying to work out and would like to use the equipment without a child sitting there unattended.

I have been a member for 7 years. I have tried 24 hr fitness and other places, and Fit Gym is by far my favorite. A local oasis, never have to wait for machines long, I go in the mornings and there are always machines available for my workout routines. The staff has always been friendly and very supportive. I always look forward to going there.

The gym is small, definitely a locals' gym. I tried it while I was in the area for a week. It has all the necessary equipment to get a good workout. Some of the equipment is in need of repair or replacement that goes beyond what looks like electrical tape. Lots of tears on the equipment. Not the best way to keep Staph infections at bay which are highly contagious and easily transmitted by touching infected areas. While they offer spray to wipe down equipment, the paper towel dispensers ran out of paper towels both times. Also, I noticed most of the members did not wipe clean the equipment after working out. Same applied to two trainers and their clients. It's really not that difficult, but some people are just entitled and lazy. A few very kids were also there "working out," and they, too, left without cleaning anything they touched. All the equipment is filthy with dust and grime build up all over. The same applies to the workout mats. The photo provided is after i wiped it before using it. Yuck! While the sauna looked inviting, I opted against it given the questionable hygienic practices I saw without a set person to clean. When leaving, I went to the hand sanitizer dispenser to no avail as it was empty. It's provided for decoration only.

The bottom line: it's a great place to workout as long as basic hygienic practices is the goal.

If you’re looking for a small, humble, neighborhood gym in Glendora, Fit Gym is one of the top gyms in the whole city. Fit Gym has a ton of different weights, cables, machines, everything necessary for a solid workout. The best part about working out here is that when you become conistant enough in your workout schedule, you start to recognize so many people at the Gym and it starts to feel like having a big family here. I’ve loved coming to Fit Gym and I plan on keeping this my go-to Gym.

I just had my first workout at this gym & felt compelled to leave a review. The place is small, but well-organized. It's super clean, including the bathrooms and showers. Maybe my only bit of constructive criticism would be to please sweep & mop the aerobics room floor, as it was pretty dirty. Beyond that, I was really happy with my workout.

Machines & weights were available. The music was played at a reasonable volume. Honestly, I'm impressed. I'm glad that I signed up to Fit Gym. It's seriously such an awesome place! : )

If your looking for a gym this is the place for you! I have been having problems with my knees for years. This effected my quality of life. Ryan my trainer has helped change my life. I love fit gym. My whole family's been coming here for years and it's a safe and friendly atmosphere for my kids. Stuff is great the members are great I just wish they had a better beer selection. And they took out there all you could eat buffet. 🤣

Such a “family” environment with amazing equipment. With SILVERSNEAKERS, I joined free, but chose a personal trainer, Matthew Teague, who has strengthened me greatly!! No age requirements!

Just curious to know if anyone from this gym has had a bad experience with the desk personnel and owner Joe. This is a great little gym in Glendora, but the Owner's seem to be lacking the fortitude to reprimand employees when they have done wrong. Hopefully they have cleaned this up since I was there last. The Owner Joe did apologize to me after the fact, and further asked me if I wanted both employees to apologize for making false claims against me. I told Joe that the damage was already done and I would be going to another gym due to this incident. In all fairness, Joe did speak to the desk employees about a conversation that was misinterpreted by the two employees. Joe left two messages on my phone indicating that he spoke with both of the desk personnel involved and truly apologized for not doing a bit more investigation before accusing ME for something I never did. The owner of this gym lost 2 members due to this incident, and it totally could have been prevented.
This review is not to dissuade anyone from joining this gym, it was just my experience, and this is only a review of that.

This was the owner's reply to my yelp review on a private message on YELP.
"Jeff,
I thought we were beyond this. Do you really want to go down this road again?"

This was my reply;

"Yelp was set up to assist people in making decisions based on honest reviews which can be very helpful to potential clients in any business. An Owner of any business trying to dissuade someone from posting an honest review is somewhat unethical Joe, and I believe you know this. My husband and myself were on holiday for six weeks in Glendora. We are from the UK. We joined Fit gym for the duration of our stay.What a fantastic gym! Well equipped. I was also able to attend classes. I.e body sculpt , strength and yoga. Friendly staff and members. We highly recommend and will visit again when we go back to Glendora.

Members are friendly and everybody picks up after themselves. Dumbbells are always racked properly and weights are always put away. By far my favorite gym membership that I have had before. Hidden gem. It never gets too busy here in my opinion, with peak hours being around the time everyone gets off work. Morning or night the place is fairly empty and workouts are very easy to manage. I never have to spend much time here as it is very organized and never too many people taking up machines or weights. Can't go wrong here!

Recently joined this gym and really like the place. It's a small place but has enough of standard equipment. The place has a community feeling where everyone is pretty friendly, staff greets you when you come in. The most people I have seen so far during peak time is 12 people, never have to wait for any machines. I have joined other bigger corporate owned gyms before, this place is by far my favorite gym, quiet, clean, and all about exercise.

I love Fit Gym! Everyone there is so friendly and it is nice to see familiar faces when you go into the gym everyday. I have never been a fan of large commercial gyms so this place is perfect. The prices are extremely reasonable and they have all the equipment you could ever need.

Customer service is amazing! I have never had a complaint about any staff. The staff is very helpful and pleasant. I have only been in Glendora for summer the past two years and they have made it very easy and adjustable for my membership. The gym is also very clean! There is cleaning sprays and towels all around the gym for wiping things down after use and everyone uses it! Staff periodically cleans and keeps the gym tidy.

I love Fit Gym! I have been a member twice! So I came back. I didn’t take full advantage the first time and basically never went. This time around I have been active 4-5 days weekly. I love to participate in Nathalie’s morning classes Monday’s, Tuesday’s and Thursday’s! She is awesome and all the people in the class are friendly and supportive. I know when I first went I was totally intimidated but that was all the junk in my mind. Lol. The women in the class have been kind and supportive! Please take a chance and try it. For me it has been life changing. If you find a good supportive group to keep you accountable then don’t let go!!! 💕👊🏼🏋️‍♀️

I joined Fit Gym about a year ago. This small neighborhood gym is just right for me. I never feel crowded or rushed or unwelcomed. The staff has been very helpful, especially the personal trainer I had for a few months. They have a variety of machines, a clean ladies locker room/bathroom, large free weight area, and spacious class room...complete with battle ropes!
I've had a good experience and plan on being a member for a long time to come. The only other thing I desire is more classes to choose from. But I suppose that would be the case with any gym.

Fit Gym is a great place to go for your fitness needs. It has a nice mix of free weights, weight machines, and aerobic machines, and wait time is minimal. The staff is friendly and helpful, and there is no pressure to use a personal fitness coach or engage in any of the fitness classes, like Yoga or Country Western dancing. I like using the private infrared sauna after a hard workout.
And there is no need to feel self-conscious, not matter what your fitness level is. A friendly local mix with a lot of regulars you can count on for an encouraging word, advice, or help. I tried gyms in the past but never stuck with it. I have been coming to Fit Gym for over 3 years now, and plan to keep it up.
