Serving families of the South Bay for 20 years, Fit Kids is the preeminent gymnastics school for beginning through advanced levels of gymnastics. We have built our reputation over these many years by putting kids first. Our caring teachers and positive teaching methods strengthen our student's abilities and self-esteem as we focus on building children from the inside.
Fit Kids Gymnastics Center offers more classes during the week than any other gymnastics school and has developed the most advanced curriculum and teaching system of any other gymnastics school in the area. it is our goal to provide the finest learning experience for our students and ensure that their time spent at Fit Kids is both positive and memorable. Switching to Fit Kids has been an incredible experience for us! Owner Chris and coach Milena have shown so much patience and kindness towards my daughter. Their dedication and passion are evident in every practice- they genuinely care about the girls and excel at teaching. Despite my daughter's difficulty in maintaining focus, they have successfully drawn out her best qualities, setting high standards while keeping the learning process enjoyable. Gymnastics has become her absolute favorite activity, and I'm profoundly grateful to have discovered Fit Kids! The office staff is also kind, knowledgeable and responsive. I highly recommend Fit Kids to anyone looking for a supportive environment where their child can be challenged, cared for, and experience growth!

Fit Kids and The Waves Gymnastics Team has been a wonderful experience for our daughter. She trained for over four years and developed an incredibly strong gymnastics foundation within the Excel Program. We have been very happy with the coaching and staff! Thank you to Chris and Milena who have made a positive impact on our daughter's gymnastics journey!

I took my 4 year old daughter to this gym yesterday. My experience was heart breaking. My daughter is 4 years old, autistic and has a speech delay. Please mind that her disability is pretty mild and unnoticeable to the untrained eye. The owner informed me that my daughter did not know what to do and needed extra attention compared to the typical children and that she needed to wait until she was older to bring her back. This place just tookl my money and insulted my special needs child. Please mind that it was her first day and has a disability which was fully disclosed on her online registration and to the coaches. The coaches were really nice and worked with my daughter and had no issue with her. The problem was that the owner man did not like that my daughter needed slightly extra attention and directive. He told me twice that she was not ready, please mind that because of Covid-19 this is considered a after school camp. I am so saddened that this location discriminated on my daughter's disability. My daughter actually had alot of fun and told the coaches I will be back. But sadly she is not allowed to return according to the owner.

No the right gym for a special needs kid (even worst if you are not white). Been there as a Latino father with my 8 years old autistic daughter, they will look at you as they are seeing an alien from Mars. If you are Caucasian with a normal kid [preferable blond and with green eyes] then don't worry you are good to go. Note to Fit Kids: I will not delete this review under ANY circumstances, you need to change, you need to open your mind, learn and teach your staff and your clients how to behave when they interact with non-typical kids and families from another ethnicity background.
