It's an ok gym only bad things about it is they only have 2 squat racks so I always have to wait for one. They dont have enough benches to use dumbells and it can get overcrowded.

This gym is trashy at best. The women's locker room restroom stalls are in need of replacement. I was told 3 YEARS ago they were going to do so. I cut my finger on the lock on one of the doors and let the unconcerned manager at the time know. She did nothing. Well, I guess the solution was to remove one of the stall doors, another has a curtain! There has been a ongoing leak coming from the showers, major lawsuit waiting to happen. They FINALLY figured out how to make the stereo work, my husband has been trying to tell them for years how they needed to hook it up to the TV. The childen staff don't listen. Then they play slow rap! I need uptempo music to get pumped, not dirty nursery rhymes putting me to sleep. They closed off the hot tub, closed the sauna, this place has fallen apart. The reason it gets 1 star? It's cheap. I did see their rates went up. Charging people the same prices that a quality gym charges is ridiculous. Shesh, you have an outdoor pool you won't fix or fill! It's time to quit pocketing all the money and start fixing stuff. 5 years is too many!

Sunday hours 7am Opening. May 6th 2018. Sitting in parking lot at 8:25am with the gym closed. Looks like the staff went a little too hard for Cinco de Mayo. Mind you, I and about 7 other cars were waiting in the parking lot. I've been going to this gym for years now and have seen 3 name changes. I've only heard bad things about the management here and they have lost 4 employees in the last 2 months as I am extremely close to many of the workers there. They are supper respectful. Just wish management was better. I will be changing gym within a few weeks.

Currently this is the only gym I am a member of. I love this gym it has everything I need from weights to cardio (treadmills, bike, elliptical). They have a pool, they have classes like Zumba, yoga, etc. this location is convenient and the gym is clean! Oh did I mention they have a sauna? Great hosts at the front as well.

This is the best gym I've ever had the pleasure of attending. It also has a great location Antioch but I'm definitely a devoted Brentwood attendee great atmosphere great attitude by the working staff and a huge blessing to my life. keep up the good work

Most of employees are nice. I have a big problem with how filthy shower walls and floors and sinks are. I was shocked last week when I found out that they have someone that cleans. I thought it was just dirty cause they had no one.

Get some bleach and water. And spray down all the walls and floors in showers and sctub ioff black mold and whatever else is on walls.

Do not go to this gym i had a membership for 9 days but had no time between work and dealing with a funeral so when I tried to cancel and get my money back i was told that there was a 5 day Grace period i was not told about plus 9.99 to cancel. So in all i ended up pay 52$ for nothing within 9 days.

I am very frustrated and upset with this gym. They took couple hundred dollars from me almost two years ago and was fighting for it back for months. I had two deaths in the family back to back and I gave up and forgot.

I get an email from Joel over a month ago that I owed Fitness Evolution money. I was shocked!!! I went to my bank and printed all my bank statements from two years ago and went to the gym. They took a picture of the transactions and said they would get back to me. That never happened. Its now been a month, I have called more than 10 times, and emailed them at least five times. After me reaching out I don't know how many times, I have not received any answer. Who knows if I will ever get my refund but I will NEVER recommend anyone to this gym!!!!!

DONT COME HERE!!! I'm really upset with my care here. I had come in last Christmas break and the people who worked at fitness evolution in Vacaville CA, helped me get the right membership that fit me. Unfortunately this was not the case here. I was not told of having to walk in and sign a cancellation form before I left back so school. The manager never told me I had to walk in, rather I asked, if all I had to do was pay my last month and not pay after that which he agreed nothing about me walking in to sign a form. Now I'm being charged $93 for cancellation fees that I was not told about. Never will I come here again, and I don't advise anyone coming here. I'm very upset at the fact I was not told that I had to come in to cancel my membership.

I came here as a guest. I Am a planet fitness member. When a friend invited me to go I was in but I'm the weight room through out our lifting I felt very uncomfortable. Through out our work out 2 guys we're just staring and One shouted that I was doing it incorrect. While my girl was teaching me how to properly use the equipment. I was just there for me and to figure things out on my own. I just felt like I was being watched . So glad I go to planet fitness! Never going back . The restroom was kinda dirty as well. No paper towels.

Cons: Bathrooms are always dirty. Paper towels are often empty. One of the Trainors I don't want to say who creeped me out. Trainors are inconsistent. They have double charged me. They have kind of hidden fees in the form of rate guarantee thing each year. Hard to actually speak to management. Front desk ignores you if you try to talk to them or get their attention.
Pros: Dee in kids club is freaking awesome. Super easy to leave ur kids with her! Ten bucks a month. 5 bucks a month for kids club. And that's it for the pros.

the pools nice pool heater brakes often. a lot of the equipment is damaged heart rate doesn't work on some ellipticals incline on some treadmills. the place isn't very clean. no paper towels for days. some lady told me brentwoods is a lot cleaner but they dont have a pool. then again u get what u pay for i guess

CONS
The equipment is adequate at best. You should double check cables and handles prior to using. There hasn't been a plate loaded EZ curl bar available for the past 6 months (a basic, standard piece of gym equipment) and the membership there is so ghetto they steal rope attachments; so you either bring your own or interrupt your workout to go to the front desk and sign one out. Barbells and dumbbells are bent due to poor replacement policies and abuse from members. Based on the basic layout of the gym and equipment placement, its obvious that management has no clue/experience in the gym industry. The training staff is unprofessional and rude. Clearly a group of young, early 20-somethings just there to pick up on female members.

PROS
The front desk and maintenance staff is pleasant and friendly enough. Its $10.00 a month and theres lots of room in the building. There is a steam and sauna, as well as an indoor pool.

I love both Antioch & Martinez. Martinez seems more sanitary clean, but I love that Antioch has pool, spa, sauna, tanning. Only sad the pool & spa is often broken or cloudy (unclean) but the bathroom & shower is very nice & clean for how much it's used. Also disappointed Antioch hydro massage machine is broken & no door on the room. So I prefer going to Martinez for hydro theropy.
