I started my fitness journey with Brenda this year 2023. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis in my spine, and my doctor said it was important to work on strengthening my core. I found Brenda to be really attentive to my needs and came up with a great fitness program for me. I am a zookeeper by profession, so I am physically active, but with the years of repetitive work, it was breaking down my body. Thru Brenda I learned amazing core strengthening exercises. I used this knowledge in my day to day profession, and I can say I don’t hurt anymore coming home from work! Brenda’s attention to your personal needs, her voice of encouragement, has really made a difference in my overall fitness! I highly recommend this amazing woman for your fitness needs!

I started a weekly workout program with Brenda about 3 months ago and I couldn’t be happier! Brenda has over 16 years of personal training experience and her knowledge and expertise are shown in every workout provided. She offers personal training and a variety of fitness classes. Every class has been positive and motivating! Brenda truly cares about the needs and goals of her clients and is able to effectively modify each class with each clients goals and abilities in mind. I would 100% recommend Fit With Brenda to my family, friends and anyone who has fitness needs at any age!

Started my journey with Brenda in late April 2023 with 1 to 2 times a week, not going to lie, I was struggling to motivate myself. With Brenda's encouragement and motivation I am currently working out 4 to 6 hours a week and loving it! Every class experience is different and energetic. She will motivate you and nudge you to push yourself a little more each time.

I’ve been going to Brenda’s strength and conditioning classes for a few months now, and I love it! She is so so nice and does push you to do a little more than you think you can. She always makes sure your form is correct and educates on why you’re doing the moves you’re doing. Very knowledgeable and a fantastic fun trainer. Highly recommend!

Brenda taught a 90 minute Jam Session in New Orleans, Mother Day. It was one of the Best Zumba Sessions I've been to. Choreo was easy to follow and fun, great energy, plenty of smiles.

Brenda Rivera @fitwithbrenda is amazing! I found her gym in 2021. I was a regular and getting into great shape with her encouragement, knowledge and positivity. In 2022, I had 2 major surgeries. She identified early on that it was more than sciatic pain. I had back surgery then hip replacement. Throughout my absence at her gym she kept in touch regularly, always encouraging me to stay positive & to get well at my own pace. Well now in 2023, I am back working on strength and stretching, again with her patience, knowledge & encouragement. She is very knowledgeable, well educated and has years of experience not only in her craft of physical training, but how the whole body works. Thank you Brenda!

I highly recommend FitwithBrenda!! She’s a great coach, very knowledgeable, friendly and professional!! She has helped me out tremendously through out my weight loss journey. Karen, …..rather Brenda Changed the price and schedule multiple times.
Closed for 2 weeks with 1 days notice. Had a yelling match while I was conducting class.
Didn’t show up to open the place or showed up late before. Borderline harassed me at all hours
Terminated my lease / contact with NO written notice. Rent due on 1st I had it the 3rd and tried again today. She self evicted without due process. I am happy to post the paperwork if you disagree.

Mrs. Brenda takes fitness and her business seriously! She actually connects with her clients so she can help them meet their goals! She helped me lose 30 lbs in the last three months! I have to tighten my belt on all my pants as they all fall off now. She has a way of not only giving a person a workout routine, but she teaches them how and why so they can workout on their own. I have belonged to so many different gyms that promise results..,, none of them worked because they wanted money. Mrs. Brenda would rather have results and healthier clients!

Honestly I always tell Brenda she is a true gem in Jamul. I am so happy to have joined her gym, she was very welcoming and makes the classes very fun …the hour is so short it’s not a typical gym class where you are watching the clock . We dance and we do cardio at the same time it’s very fun! I joined her about three weeks ago and I already see results. She has different classes around the clock and even some on Saturday so her membership is 💯 worth it. Nice thing about her is she always changes things around so it’s never boring and the work outs are always different. She is very educated and knowledgeable when it comes to working out. She demonstrates allot of unique techniques with alternatives for beginners, she never makes anyone feel embarrassed and encourages us daily! Thank you Brenda I am so glad you moved into Jamul! I like the cardio dance / boot camp class/d strength and conditioning.

This last week of February I’m completing my 3rd month of training with Brenda. She is a professional at what she does. I’ve learned many things from her beginning with training different areas of the body and improving problem areas, eating healthy and not giving up. I didn’t come this far to give up! So it’s on for March and I’ve already seen results. Working on my strength and watching what I eat. I have symptoms of arthritis but not quite sure, I have a doctors appointment coming up and I can’t wait to find out what my overall results will be. Whatever the doctor says, I have confidence that as long as I can continue to keep training it can’t hurt, but will only help. “Mind controls the Body”, as Brenda says.
