Discontinue membership over two months and they still take $60 out my bank. Never charged me what I singed up for which was $20 membership always $60 that’s why I canceled and yet the just continue to steal from me. It’s exactly what it is they are stealing. Be aware of your statement from this company. Now I have to cancel my bank account and open a new just not to get ripped of by a wealthy company. So sad. They don’t even have competent people working there that knows how to handle it. How hard is it to cancel a membership, but they know how to take your money. Not even worth one star. Would be great for Fitness 19 to buy out a space where Home Depot at Hyde park is at.

The only reason i loved Fitness 19 is because 1. it made me feel good to come in & put work in & i left satisfied.

3. It was affordable monthly price + the personal training also affordable

I've been a member of the Crenshaw location for a number of years now, and I can easily say that it is one of the best gyms that I've ever been a part of. The equipment is both top-notch and well maintained, with the personal trainers always being ready to lend a helpful hand. The manager, Daniel, was and always is very helpful with any and all questions that I may have. Would highly recommend becoming a member of this gym. You won't regret it!

I wasn't sure about this place since it's not my regular gym then I walked in. Plenty of treadmills, the equipment seemed new and top quality. The place is more spacious than I expected. My only complaint might be the benches are set too close to the dumbell rack which makes it a little difficult to walk around. Even the restrooms are nice. All n all it's a good place to workout.

I have been going to this Fitness 19 location for about as long as it's been open. I like that there are a couple of power racks, plenty of benches and dumbells, cable stations, treadmills, and even a heavy bag. The staff has always been very friendly and they do a pretty good job of fixing equipment when it needs to get repaired. I am fortunate to live close to this little gem.

It's a nice, quaint local gym. The morning crew of workers is the best, they're always friendly and accomidating. I've been going here for about 1.5 years now and I love that there is enough equipment for my daily workout routine to be completed seamlessly. It's never super crowded, its one of the few gyms we have locally and I'm grateful for it. I only gave 4 stars because the evening crew is annoying af and they recently got on my nerves about some bs....lol. other than that....great place to stay in shape

When I came back from college to LA this was the nearest gym I found to my house. I came in as a guest first (you can obtain a guest pass online) and I felt extremely comfortable at the first try. The gym is never really overly crowded, so it gives you access to any cardio machine you wish to use and any heavy weight item of your preference. With that being said, if you are someone who is intimidated to work out in front of crowds, that’s not really an issue here. The staff are extremely friendly people and are always willing to help you out with any issues. Plus, with two of the memberships you get to bring guests with along! Which is always comforting. Overall, this is a great gym and I 100% recommend!

Glad that F19 Crenshaw has reopened! The accommodations done to follow covid guidelines are great. They have temp checks at the entrance and have several disinfecting sprays all throughout the club. The facility is clean and all equipment is functional.

A Mngr I spoke with in early March said my account showed I owed payments?? Keep in mind this is during a pandemic. He reassured me that it was a mistake & my account wouldn't be charged. I just got a whole year membership at fitness 19 because I used to be a guess/accompany with my moms member ship last year and all I remember was motivation when ever I go to that gym everyone there except maybe 2 people always go there motivated ready to work out they dont go on there phones this gym is on a whole different level from planet fitness. Like today was my first day having my own member ship and best believe I woke up at 7:30 in the morning ran all the way to the gym which takes me about 20 minutes and I went working out for almost 2 hours non stop the equipment there is amazing theres always something new once a month and they got this corona thing down packed some what and not only that my muscles feels exhausted even while I'm typing my four arm feels anguish. I love this gym I cant wait to see how I'll look like at the end of these 12 months

I have been enroll in other gym and this is the best one. I like how they keep everything clean. All the equipment are new and well keep. Is not too crowded and the customer service is great. I gave them 4 stars ⭐️ because I have hired a personal trainer and recently I went to get my first session and it was not Trainer and nobody called me before to cancel my appointment. I also talked with the front desk service and she told me she didn’t know nothing about it. They called the manager of the trainers and they move my session from weekends to M-F because it was not trainers at weekends. 🤷🏽‍♀️ So I had to adjust my schedule. Now I have a new trainer assigned he is friendly.

Ruby and the general manager at the Crenshaw fitness 19 is very nice and helpful, good customer service and very knowledgeable. They help keep the equipment clean and sanitized. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because you have a couple of other employees the that are not helpful, have attitude problems and seems like they don't want to be at work. While I'm there I don't never see them cleaning or sanitizing the equipment they just sitting most of the time that I am there. Also they need to keep the restrooms cleaned more often. But that's why I gave a 4 star, for those 2 reasons.

I just got to LA a couple of weeks ago. The first thing on my list was to find a gym. Not only was 19 fitness a great location it's also the best prices in the area.

I've been to a lot of gyms in my life, but this one by far is one of the best. They have great equipment, a wonderful staff, and the people that go there are very nice and even give you some training tips.

But, what makes this the best place for me is, my personal trainer Kimberly. She's fantastic and is always pushing me to limits I didn't think I could reach. There are moments where I want to quit, want to take a long break, or just want to fall to the floor and cry, but she reminds me of the goal I've set for myself and lets me know to not quit and that sometimes it'll hurt and sometimes I'll feel like dying, but once it's over, it's over and I'll be over the pain. I wish I could have her following me throughout my day to day in order to push me to do better, but I can't. If you're thinking of a new gym to go to, please go to this one or at least try it out. If you do end up becoming a member, you should consider taking up Kimberly as a personal trainer. 12/10 trainer.

I will start with the positive; the facility is well maintained. It’s very clean and so far the equipment is always operative. The biggest problem I’ve experienced is the deceptive sales person. When I signed up I specifically ask for the details of the different memberships package so I could make the best decision and to make sure the pricing is competitive. I was given the monthly fee (and here is when it became shady) then told I would be charged and annual fee at the one year mark (not true I was charged 4 months later). During the sign up I asked for a copy of my contract, I was told it would be emailed to me I never received the email. After several other requests with even giving them my email never received the contract. I’m canceling before other charges occur.

The hungry for profit is on.! I don’t know what changed, the customer service isn’t what it use to be. I’ve been a member for about 2 months. Within that time I have been paying extra for what I thought was a full package. A big buff guy who set up my package quit, so they cannot reference what he set me up with. But I was told I’m paying for everything including the child service . Little did I know it was a basic business trick in the book, finding my needs and putting it at a price. For this case when setting up, I have a child and needed to work out. So they sold me on the Premier which I was told gives you access to everything including child care.[Which it doesn’t].
They have you pay an extra $7-$10 on your membership for the Hydrobeds but honestly they never even checked when i or other people ask to use it. I’ve already spoken over with my gym buddy and did a little gym snooping and found out most of the people who were using the hydro bed didn’t pay and weren’t premier members. Which didn’t really make us feel like we were getting what we paid for.It’s very un organized as far as the staffs knowledge of what went on before the new staff was there. A lot of promises were made and not fulfilled due to “That person quitting”. I originally left a review for a Promises T-shirt that was suppose to be in 2 days after, but I waited about a month and some without a shirt, and being told constantly “Next week we will have it”. How do you say that 2 weeks in a row? And say it before I left a review. So if you sign up here. Get the basic, hell, they don’t check. You’ll save yourself money.

Everyone is nice, but the equipment NEVER gets fixed. One of the machines I use twice a week has been broken for 3 months. I just went flying off a shaky, broken treadmill along with all my stuff (yeah, my phone amount the stuff) and twisted my ankle.

Hours are good, variety is fine, not busy, but at the rate they repair things it’s like a f****** lawsuit waiting to happen. I can see someone getting hurt. Luckily I’m fine, I’m always injured so it whatever. But it’s really not good to have people who don’t know what they’re doing swinging broken machines full of weights around.

I love this facility! I have been apart of quite a few gyms before, but I must say this one stands out most to me. The energy, the cleanliness, and the customer service is out of this world. Danny the GM has been more than helpful on working with me and my financial situation and my agreement. Definitely recommend to anyone on a budget but still wants the amenities. I say it’s better than any 24 hour or LA fitness!! Awesome deals

Staff is friendly. Have been a member since end of 2018 and still enjoy it. see familiar faces daily. Never extremely crowded, yet morning and early afternoon is a great time to avoid any crowd. Better access to free the weights.

People check your bank statements. I was being over charged. I was told per fitness 19 that it was due to enfficiant funds in the account, but I keep money in the bank. They told me each time they charge my BANK the payment was returned and they charge additional 15$ each return transaction. They charge me 15$ (3x) plus my monthly payment of $9.99. I'm going to go cancel my membership with them. I told my son to check his bank account because he has his own membership with them as well and I knew I was not tripping they have been over charging his account too. And he had money in the bank. Which it clearly showed, however, I just needed to be sure that I'm not tripping or overreacting. Just saying. Be careful.

Best thing about this gym is that they have turf and a punching bag! It's not overly crowded which I love and it's super clean! The staff are amazing and motivating! I love there energy and are always there to help! I will most definitely recommend this gym to anybody .

Awesome local gym, used to go to 24 down the street but this is a way better gym. Although it is smaller in size, they have cleaner and updated equipment. The people who come here are also super friendly and makes it comfortable while you are working out. Hoping it stays like this for time to come

"THE BEST" this club is simply the best I've ever been affiliated with. I've been a part of many fitness clubs, which most quite more expensive. This is the cleanest, most up to date equipment and friendly and helpful staff.

Love this place amazing equipment, cheap, clean gym. I used to go to black diamond but I moved to this gym and let me say its an amazing change worth every penny. If you are ever there ask for Don. Hes the manager great down to earth guy and hard worker making sure everything is cool. Check this place out!! Its a great place to work out as well. Also great personal training help!

Fittness 19 is an awesome place to workout. Their equipments are brand new. Everything works perfect. They have all types of equipment that will help you archive any goal you want to.

If it's about loosing weight or building muscle, this is the place. They will give you your meal plan of how to lose weight. Everyone i met so far are serious and help each other to workout too. The trainers are awesome. Very friendly people. You have to register if you have not. They have cool deals too.

You can bring a friend Friday to Sunday to workout with... Please go check it out.

Initially, had some difficulty with the enrollment due to a misunderstanding about terms. However, the new manager Monica reached out to me after I posted about the issue and corrected the issue. In my opinion, she went above and beyond to reach out and fix things promptly.

in terms of the facility, it's new and clean, very nice. They have a kids club, so you don't have to worry about childcare while you work out. The only down side is that they don't have showers.
