I’ve been to a few Fitness 19’s and this location is hands down the best. The machines are in good shape and the people that workout there are kind and courteous. My favorite part is the staff that welcomes you each time you walk in. Just today Tony, who works the front desk most of the week, sought me out during my workout to say hello because he was talking to somebody else as I walked in.

The cost for this gym is lower than its competitors, and while this may see enticing, just remember.... you get what you pay for.

We signed up mainly for the cardio dance classes, but have encountered tardiness, instructors not showing up, or the classes just aren't fun. We manage to find 1 or 2 fun classes per week.

The gym's AC is spotty, members tend to not wipe down equipment after use, so please wipe down your equipment before using it. There is rarely any cleaning of the machines that I see, so you will have to see for yourself the insane amount of people that do not clean their machines after using them.

The front desk people are usually not at the front desk to greet you, but can be found at a desk in a corner on their phone.

The guy at the front did not look up when I checked in. In my book, that's part of your job is to greet people as they arrive at a business. I asked him how he was doing, without looking up he said "fine".

I go to the gym so I can feel good and get my day started right. Obviously, this guy is not going to shape the course of my day but he certainly didn't represent the business well. I find that's the case with a lot of personal trainers at Fitness 19. I don't need their help so they don't want to know me or acknowledge that I'm there because they can't make money off of me. Sorry for having learned a decent workout program without you bro. Good luck advancing in your career.

Don’t be passive aggressive and bogart someone’s personal space in the gym without asking.

Simply ask nicely if they don’t mind moving over.

“Do you mind moving over a little?”

Two outcomes.

1. The person says no. Then you go about your merry way and find another space.

2. The person says yes and moves over. The most likely outcome.

I've been going to this gym 1-3 times a week for the last 3.5 years. The childcare is dependable and filled with kindhearted workers. They are one of the main reasons I continue to go to the Murrieta location. Not to mention, the staff and management work hard to keep the place clean and operating as smoothly as possible. I can honestly say I have never had an issue with billing or management. The equipment meets the varied needs of people who attend - so many different ages and stages of fitness. It's awesome. I always recommend this gym to my friends who have kids or need a positive workout environment. And I need to give a specific shoutout to Sarah, who works really hard to meet the needs of the members. No place is perfect, but I can't complain about this location.

I just visited this gym today with my niece and the GM Rick greeted us first. I let him know we had just came from their competitors gym as we are seeking to join and we discussed the differences between their completion across the street. One big difference was not having to sign up for classes to attend them. I let him know that I was impressed by how clean their facility is. We ended up speaking to Sarah about membership options and she gave us a tour. Nice benefits include water massage tables tanning and red light therapy. Overall we plan to return as it’s very close to our house and the class schedule looked promising. I’m very big on cycle classes and they have multiple cycle classes most days. Friendly staff, VERY clean gym, and super polite members. We will most likely join this gym as it was bigger and brighter than the gym across the street.

If you are going to say that you are open at 4 a.m., make sure that you guys are actually open! It’s ridiculous to make people get up early, just to come to the gym and it’s close! I understand being 5-15 minutes late, but close to two hours is too much. I went back twice, and it was STILL close. From my understanding from what others were saying outside, this is a pretty common issue. Also, while I was waiting I saw people walking outside waiting until they eventually gave up and left :)

Update: I updated it from 1 to 3 stars.

After several attempts including calling the Menifee location and speaking to the GM there, we finally got some help. (My husband’s paperwork mistakenly said that he joined there 🤷‍♀️) To be safe I contacted my bank and disputed the charges and put a stop payment on the ACH withdrawals. (*This created another issue I’ll discuss below)

Richard from Murrieta gym eventually reached out that same day and he was very apologetic. He said he sent Sarah home after briefly speaking with her and assured me he’d have an additional conversation with her. He said that she was out of line and that he didn’t understand why she would speak to the situation. He said that she should have never given us the contact for ABC management and that she should have contacted him immediately. Richard assured me that he’d stop the withdrawals and refund all of the money. This turned out to be partly true. We were refunded a total of $30/$15 each for one month’s charges. The remaining balance owed for another month as well as the annual fee (aprox $54 each) ended up being refunded several days later by my bank due to the claim that I opened.

*Here is the issue. Putting an ACH stop payment through my bank to prevent further withdrawals caused us to have missed deductions through our new gym in our new city. The ABC management company apparently is also responsible for processing our new gym payments. I have not yet removed the stop payments through my bank as I just don’t have time to deal with it right now if Murrieta Fit19 hasn’t handled it on their end. Eventually I’ll follow up but for now this is where it stands.

On another note! Shout out to Caitlin Code Black our former trainer at Fit19 Murrieta. She’s awesome! 🤩

I’m going to add to the other negative reviews regarding billing issues and customer service.
My husband and I moved out of state this year. We sent the required emails to terminate our membership and we each received a pdf showing our termination date and final billing date of June 20th. We have continued to be billed in July and August and were also charged for an annual renewal. This amounts to $69.99 that they have over charged each of us.
My husband called today and spoke to a manager Sarah. She was rude from the very beginning, not listening to him even explain the basics of what he was calling about, assuming she knew what he needed, & cutting him off before he could finish explaining. She was just simply annoyed at having to deal with him. After investigating she said that she shows us cancelled. She then gave us a phone number to call, this number is for ABC which we think is a company that manages things for fitness clubs. We got nowhere, everything via ABC seems to be for gym professionals to communicate. I am also unsure why this is our responsibility!
I called back Fit19 Murrieta & also spoke with Sarah. She was extremely rude, cut me off repeatedly. I asked if she was a manager and she said yes and said she was the only person at the front desk. I finally was able to share our unsuccessful communication issue with ABC. She didn’t want to deal with it, and remained rude and argumentative throughout the call. I finally stated that this was not our responsibility. I told her we had fulfilled our contract by sending an email to cancel and that was all that was required of us. She told me I needed to contact her general manager Richard, that he was at lunch and she wouldn’t disturb him and that I could email him at the “297 email”. I asked if she would leave him a message to call me because I need to speak with him. She said yeah as she hung up on me.

I love this place. The girls at the child care are always so caring for the kids and are involved with them. The gym itself is always really clean and spacious. My family has come to learn some of the workers there on a first name basis and they keep us honest when we miss a day at the gym.

I like how big and bright it is.

I got sick taking a sip of the water from the purified tap/fountain, though. I knew the smell was bad, but I made the unwise decision to take a swig. I dumped the rest of the water out, but I got a tickle in my throat which morphed into sickness for days after.

I loved the sauna but there is only 1 and I wished I could work out in it so I ended up joining HOT WORX gym by the mall since they have 12 infer red saunas with built in video trainers. 🥵🌡️🫠

When I first started my membership it was great. Then I ran into unemployment and later took a job aways from the area. I emailed to pause my membership on Jan 3rd 2024, they continue to change me now in Feb. Fitness19 official statement is it takes 30 days to pause or cancel a member. Funny how you can start a membership in one day but take 30 days to pause or cancel a membership. Just Fitness19's way of squeezing one more payment out of a member. This is my first bad review of anyplace. Don't mess with people's money Fitness19! If you live in the Temecula area DO NOT choose Fitness19 period.

When I signed up I joined because they gave me a deal on training and let me know the wildomar location had kids club and was the closest to me. I went in to work out at the wildomar location and they closed the kids club there! Mind you Ive only joined about 3 to 4 months ago, so I cancelled my membership because they closed it and I’m not able to drive out to murrieta all the time and defeated the purpose of why I joined. It’s been almost 2 weeks since I cancelled and I have been trying to get ahold of Rich through email, through calling and leaving messages.I have yet to hear anything back. Everyone was super nice when I joined but now I feel I’m just getting blown off because I cancelled and needed to get things fixed on my account. I’m super disappointed.

Super disappointed!
Went in looking for a new gym so signed up for a free trial (set up appt as it said a four would happen and free personal training session)…none happened.
I walked in, wasn’t greeted, the guy was on his phone faced the opposite way from the door. I told my name and appt time and he said ok, here’s a 3 day guest pass, have fun.
I asked about a tour, he said you should be able to see everything, lmk if you have questions…and left. Where has customer service gone in todays society? You had a lifelong customer, but off looking for another gym now.
Too crowded (4pm) to where I had to wait for adjustable benches, dumbbells, and flat bench. Toilets were full too.
Don’t recommend!!

Great gym, has every amenity you could ask for. The only real complaint I have is regarding the lack of gym etiquette from members; i.e. reracking weights and returning equipment to its designated location.
Had to change AGAIN! Lack of cleaning and the fact that management allows for racist propaganda news (Fox. OAN and Newsmax) to be aired on their TVs. These networks target all marginalized people (Asians, Latinos African-American, LGBTQIA+, etc.) These networks perpetuate violence us and management condones this through allow these networks to air on TVs we can't avoid.

This was 3 mos ago I just received my contract when I went to see the manager Hollie (a few days ago Its now June).I wanted out and pay the fees but had to deal with ABC financial .Dont let them into your checking accounts .There have been lawsuits.Against Fitness 19 and ABC Financial according to Google

Has a great Boxing personal trainer/coach, his name is Andre. You’ll have a lot of fun, sweat a lot, get stronger, and continue to be motivated to come to the gym when trained by Andre. Also, the gym is really clean, and has a lot of different equipment (better then most commercial gyms).

I've been going here for a year now and I've lost 50 pounds (the Covid man-cave weight). I got a trainer, Andre, to get shredded for my wedding in Dec. '21, and decided to retain the service because I love the energy he brings. Andre and I practice boxing & self defense together. We all know fighters drop the most weight in the least amount of time, and it's been working for me. Highly recommend getting him to help with your fitness goals whether its bulking up or slimming down. The gym can be kind of crowded in the evenings but it's so big you can usually get on another machine if you find yourself waiting. I don't normally encounter this situation though. Or you can ask to alternate sets with someone...just sayin'. It's a great gym and it's helped me get back in shape!

Very annoying the cleaning guy gossips about some members (has been going on for a couple of months now hence, the reason it got annoying) as if they are not smart enough to know or others won't inform them. Some of us just want to work out and go home ASAP. They have better things to do than to deal with childish nonsense. More than likely, I will be canceling my membership very soon.
Other than that my original review below is still the same.

It was great before. Now? It's still good.  However, some of the newer staff don't even bother looking up from their phone when people come in and stayed glued to it the entire time literally. I could have brought new members they wouldn't even have noticed. Part of the reason i stopped bringing in guests/new members via my IG like I used to all the time. When they are not on their phones its glares, belligerent like atittude. I usually don't write negative reviews unless it keep occurring over and over and over again. Now the good part: The tenured staff still exemplifies their prior greatness...which is being amicable and professional. Although I'm not a senior citizen, I love that they have trainers and a room for classes that focuses on senior citizens fitness. That group often get ignored by most gyms. They have a dedicated squat, deadlift area . More squat racks, deadlifts platforms than most gyms in this area. Exercise equipments you dont see at other gyms ie stationary tire flips device just to name one. Their Equipment arent  falling apart. Quick example cable machines works no kinks. The extra  amenities are a notch above other gyms ie massage, red light therapy.

Gym equipment is crammed together. Weights are scattered everywhere. Too crowded in the evening to get near any free weights. Smells like a wet penny and duckbutter had a baby on the gym floor. Cancellation is a nightmare because once they have your acct and routing# then there is nothing you can do to stop them from charging your Checking account over….and over. I have to give them respect for a kind staff and the fact that they stayed open during Covid when the LA fitness and 24hr fitness didn’t even try.

I have been a member at various Fitness 19 Clubs throughout the Country since 08. This gym is nice. Real nice. I think the only thing it is missing is a sauna and a pool. I wouldn't use either at a gym but that may be important to you? During the "pandemic" they have spread the gym out quite a bit to include the parking lot area. It has given everyone much more room.

Easily my favorite Fitness 19! The gym is big, with lots of free weight and a ton of cardio machine. A bunch of classes ranging from yoga to TRX there is also a seperate spin room. This Fitness 19 has a locker room ( not all of them do) two massage beds and two stand up tanning beds. And there personal trainers are excellent! And really affordable.

This is currently the biggest fitness 19 location in the United States of America so it's an awesome new facility that can fit a ton of people. It's a huge upgrade from their other location about 5 minutes from this location. Everything from the free weights to treadmills have been upgraded and expanded upon. The new location is nearly 3 times larger or more than the original location so there is plenty to do. They offer different classes such as spin, yoga, and zumba for whatever you might need for your specific goals. They also offer personal training if you would like to meet once a week or more in between your normal routine workouts. Overall it's a wonderful facility and I highly recommend it to everyone. It's cheap and effective for keeping yourself in shape without breaking the bank to stay healthy and fit.

Great place to workout before work. Only issue I have noticed from taking a shower, is the only place to hang your towels while showering is over the curtain rod. For someone who is short like me this is a little issue. How about putting in a hanger right next to the showers on the walls dividinh the showers. Make it easier to get and we don't have to worry about our towels getting wet.

I've taken 2 classes and love them! The gym is nice. It's a decent size. The time that I go it's not full of people. Love this gym

The place is nice although, I do not think some of the trainers know what their doing. In one instance I saw a trainer teaching a girl to squat, she wasn’t going low enough, her feet were to wide and her toes were pointed too far outwards. The trainer made no corrections. Also it is Tuesday at 1:49 am and I need a quick lift, this place is 24 hr for a reason, and to my suprise the place is closed. Why?

I love this GYM its modern of course but clean and they play great music to get you going while working out. Staff is friendly and helpful. Machines are brand new as well no complaints all good!!

It's a new club with friendly staff. However, I don't appreciate the loudly played Gangsta Rap with lyrics such as ," ... motherf*cker" and about "white girls", a synonym for cocaine. Clean it up F19.
