Fitness 19 rocks! And it's affordable for the rest of us. They have the best gym gear and plenty of it to go around for everyone. Their staff are upbeat and ready to help, even for grey haired guys like me. I have been going to Fitness 19 for over 10 years and now my daughter has also joined the gym with a life time membership. Just a short drive from our home!

It’s a good price to just be able to workout so not complaints there.... but the place doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned in forever (or at all) There is caked dust up in the ceiling and on the walls and the changing room walls are nasty. That place needs a good rundown with bleach. Maybe it’s just me and my personal expectations or maybe this is a breeding ground for getting sick. With as many people who sit around, you’d think they’d have someone cleaning a bit.

This is my first gym membership (at 81!)! I joined because my daily walks were no longer enjoyable because of arthritis in my right hip. The stationary bike enables me to keep active and i am also doing a small amount of upper body exercise. So far i am very happy with my experience, the equipment fulfills my needs, the location is convenient, and the staff is freindly. My initial interview/assesment was thorough and you can't beat the price.

Disappointed in the equipment. The weight machines are often dirty and the seats are starting to crack. The aerobic equipment is also very dirty. It doesn’t feel like anything is maintained. The staff don’t greet you when you enter or ever bother to check you in. Sometimes they don’t even look up from their phones. If you want to be ignored and work out on old dirty equipment where you will most likely get sick, then this is the gym for you. Sometimes a deal isn’t always worth it.

A great place for me to work out. Fitness 19 doesn't have the amenities of the full service gyms more importantly their fees are easily affordable. The trainers are knowledgeable and personable. The chain typically locates in shopping areas.

This is by far the worst of an already scammy company. I've been a member for 10 years. I've barely used it recently and decided to cancel after they fabricated charges and refused to refund them. They demand you come in to sign paperwork to quit. Experiences I've had so far: not allowing me to bring a guest a feature they charged me extra for, opening a second account in my name and billing me twice plus refusing to refund the extra charges, "upgrading" gyms so that lifetime memberships are no longer valid at the originally purchased locations. It's a scam with lousy equipment poor service and undertrained staff.
Go. Anywhere. Else.

Edit: so despite their post below I received a call from a new manager at this location who apologized for the poor behavior of previous employees and helped me cancel via reasonable means. I'd still send any one I know to other gyms.

Update: 1/8/2019: Dear Manager thanks for your message, how many times should I call you. My telephone records show that I have called you and talked to you and your team more than 8 times in last 12 months. You have my number and you know my issue. What else can I share with you? I am glad you are at least responding and showing that you at least care.

Finally called the account team and the account has still not been terminated. Nick (careless manager) even after his promises to take care of this over the year has not terminated it. I will assume #of membership and revenue is attached to his bonus. The accounts team also shared with me that there is once in a month check-in in the gym system on my account. Me and my family live in MN for last 12 months. So I will assume the gym team does that to keep accounts active.

Owner is investor and the last person to take your complaint is the Manager who doesn't care.

I and my wife only signed up for personal training with instructor and no gym membership. I left California last year and ensured with 3 employees that they were aware of my move and no charges. Since last 1 year they continue to make 2 monthly charges on my account. Even after 5-10 calls and talking to their manager still the issue is not resolved. They continue to charge. Every time the manager assures me of resolution and refund but it continues to be a problem.

This gym is bare bone basic. don’t go during peak hours it’s packed with high school kids playing and filming prank videos. There’s no showers, No men’s changing room, No men’s Area lockers. It’s a great starter gym for less than $20 a month.

Such a great and comfortable place to workout- whether it’s lifting weights or doing cardio, and it’s never too crowded which is the best part so you aren’t waiting around to use any equipment. The machines/equipment are also great quality as well, and the workers are super helpful, non judgemental, and very pleasant.

For the minimum monthly fee, you get very reasonable services, equipments. High quality no-frill gym, real substance. Do not expect funky benefits but all the things you need, are there. Temp lockers, change rooms, enough equipments, restrooms, drinking water, easy parking, convenient location etc. No showers.

Great neighborhood gym. Clean, tidy, and equipment well kept. Can be crowded at peak time right after work but even then don't have to wait for a machine or equipment. No showers but gym showers are usually yucky anyway. Relaxed and friendly and convenient, and great price! No complaints here.

If you move and cancel your membership they keep charging your credit card. It's been 3 months and their management can't figure out how to take care of a cancellation.

They dont even deserve one star. I signed up last summer, only had time to go in 2 times before I moved over an hour away. They fail to tell you when you sign up that you need to physically walk in to the same one to cancel your membership. Meaning I need to take about 3hrs out of my busy a** day to day life and make a round trip drive just to walk in and tell them to their faces I need to cancel my membership. What a joke and load of crap. What if I had moved out of state? I just continue to pay for something I never use? So now I have a remaining balance and not only do they call every few days about it like telemarketers, they now take their personal phones and texting me about money I owe them. Professional? Absolutely not. This place is ridiculously unprofessional and just as bad as telemarketers when you cant run your a** down to them on the drop of a dime. The staff is horrible, completely unfriendly and rude. And that alone will break a businesses reputation. Learn some freaking customer service and stop harassing people.

Buyer beware. I cancelled my account after moving and they are trying to get me for additional fees after the staffer that helped said I didn't owe anything. They are threatening to take me to collections over $18. Totally ridiculous.

This is an awesome place. I have been a member here since 2007. I have gotten to know every body and the staff is really friendly. They have the most to offer for the lowest price. It is also located right in the middle of the marketplace which allows me to buy something right after my work out and save time. I always have a good time seeing people I know. 6 years of membership speaks for itself.
