After spending two weeks tring to get assistance at another location. I called Fitness 19 in Simi Valley, very upset over the experience I was having. The manager that took my call and had me come in that day to meet with a staff member. They address my concerns over the misleading information I'd received at the Moorpark Location and helped me get started.
The staff in Simi Valley is extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful.

We love coming to fitness 19… it’s clean quiet and we feel comfortable working out and don’t feel pressured to look or work out a certain way. There are no lines for the machines and everyone is friendly m. We have family members and many friends who are members as well! I’d highly recommend it

Gym itself is fine, as are the people who work here. It's the customers that can be a problem. Lots of antimaskers and "d*cknoses." Not too surprising considering the area, but if you're immune compromised or at risk, you may want to fins someplace else.

Been coming to this gym for a few months now and I have nothing bad to say , besides the adjusted hours. Staff is sociable and helpful, people are nice , and the facility is always super clean... I always see one person cleaning consistently. Love coming here and will continue to do so.

Boo 24 hour fitness! I had the Costco 2 year membership and got screwed over when they didn't pause my membership when the gyms were closed. My membership expired when the gyms opened. Switched to Fitness 19, better deal and personally like the newer equipment here.

Great gym. The best fitness 19 location I've been to. I go out of the way to gym it up here.
Pros:
1. Staff, friendly and keeps the place clean
2. Equipment; top shelf weights and machines
3. Gym layout; placement of equipment is well thought out
4. Never over crowded

Cons:
1. Small place, but probably the biggest fitness 19 🤔

Still billed me for annual fee during Covid closure. Then was given the run around between Andrew at Fitness 19 and their billing company ABC Financial. No accountability. I deeply regret ever signing with them.

Mike Nelson is a great personal trainer. He keeps me motivated by updating my app so I have all my exercises. He leaves no excuse not work out. When we train I really look forward to all the challenging exercises. He pushes me to excel in every session. He also holds me accountable by giving me homework assignments and checks in with me to make sure I completed them.
I would fully recommend Mike to any of my friends or family.

the service the machines is good, you have to be careful with the payment method they tell you one thing and in the end they do another, when I included my son they told me that I could change the type of membership without extra charges, but it was not so They charged me extra charges, and now I explain that they had stolen money from his card and that I wait for the bank to send him the new one, who attended him told him there was no problem and now they charged me extra charges again !! it's stressful

The gym is very clean, new not very crowded. The girls, the red haired guy and young black haired guy at the front desk we're all very nice. I would recommend it over golds or crunch. I just moved back to the area and am trying out all the gyms in the area. On Sunday I get an email telling me I have another 2 week free trail "with no commitments". When I go in this big guy with tattoos and sandals tells me the email is not valid for me. Was not happy with this bait and switch. Seemed shady. Not signing up here.

I am very disappointed with this gym. The music is just too loud and all hip hop. Although I asked the young man at the desk at about 7:30 this morning about varying the music and turning down the volume, he argued that they can't vary the music. He also failed to turn the volume down even though he said he would. I was unable to listen to my own music due to this loud volume. Other patrons of the gym that I spoke to all agreed with me on this issue. Despite the fact that I love everything else about this gym, I will be checking out some other gyms in the area before renewing my membership here.

Although the gym is new and the equipment is in new condition the place lacks staff that is attentive to the needs of the clients.
An example is the volume of the music. It is so LOUD that one is unable to hear their own music playing in earbuds. Almost everyone is wearing earbuds which indicates to me that the staff’s choice of music is not the reason they are there. I have heard numerous people complain.
I mentioned this to a employee that identified himself as the “manager” and he had zero interest in lowering the volume or even acknowledging it might be an issue.
So, if you want to just get in your zone and workout, this is not the place, unless you happen to share the staff’s taste in music and like it LOUD!

Well laid out and friendly staff, I love it! I was a member of Golds and although that facility was larger in square footage, it was poorly laid out, not clean and not maintained. So glad I made the change.
