DON’T GO HERE EVER!!!!!!
They have been charging me for months after canceling my membership after specifically asking them to delete my bank account info.
They lied apparently. The owners are unreachable and the phone number doesn’t work. They are thieves and liars. This gym is also in a horrible state and is falling apart.

I am speaking for the gym quality itself not the customer service as the Front Desk was professional and helpful. I am really bummed. Pros: Gym is huge. Cons: Everything about this gym is outdated: the machines/equipment, the locker rooms, layout, lack of cleanliness, etc I tried a trial workout and there were maybe 4 treadmills that worked? I really wanted to give this gym my business but was so disappointed. If management/owners are looking for constructive criticism- quality equipment, cleanliness and good branding goes a long way! If efforts change, I’ll be back.

I’ve been going to this gym for years and at the beginning it was good and everything was working.. the past months I’ve been coming every single thing seems to be falling apart. There is only 3 working treadmills out of about 10 or 12. There is 2 broken ellipticals, there’s no showers open in the men’s bathroom.. what is going on?
I’m also someone who works morning to mid day and they close at 4 pm on the weekends… super weird time to close on weekends and really dislike it as I can never make it to the gym after my shift on those days.
When there’s so many people going to this gym you’d expect them to have the money and resources to get these things fixed within a timely matter but nothing has changed for months. Every time I come in I’m disappointed that more things are broken and nothing is getting fixed.
Although I feel I have no choice to switch to another gym as it’s the only one close to where I live and within a decent price for membership.
For the love of god, please just fix your machines at the least.

I moved to Tahoe only maybe a week after the new owner took over and went here for a day pass. I was greeted by the owner, Rob, and invited to his Ju Jitsu class for free.(never touched the sport before). I've since signed up and been in there every day, some times twice a day. Super friendly staff and really any piece of equipment you could ask for.

The front desk person was very rude and the gym was in a horrible state, during this time especially having a clean location should be a top priority along side a friendly staff. Will never be returning to this location or any of its sister locations.

Have been coming here for years while in Tahoe for vacation. For $15 for a day pass, it is the best deal. Great for a full workout compared to the hotel gyms.

Came by for a 1 day pass. The staff was incredibly friendly and the gym itself had a lot of good equipment. I’d definitely come back here again!

They just do not care. Ownership changed several times. No manager on duty. Employees and members are treated without respect. The management sitting in some remote area without a clue what is going on is not able to be reached by email nor phone. I canceled my membership, asking for a refund as they no longer offer group classes, their building and rooms are under fire department restrictions. Several areas are under construction since months and not usable. Machines and Tv's need repair. The staff is struggling to hold the Fort up without any support from management. This is a terrible example of customer service. I am sorry for the Front Desk Staff.

Been a member at whatever gyms name is on this building for about 10 years or more. Lower prices have caused overcrowding. Thank you cause the new parking lot is amazing! Hopefully the bathrooms are next.

I've been coming to this gym for five years and am fed up with what seems to be a continual decline in the maintenance of the facility. When Fitness Evolution took over, I was expecting evolution not devolution. Today a handwritten note is up saying that the showers have no hot water until a new hot water heater is installed ten days from today! That goes along with poorly cleaned locker rooms (they wreak)....to the planned to be removed steam room and hot tub! Then there's the removal of the climbing wall and the discontinuation of the spin classes and other classes. This used to be the best gym on the lake....WHAT HAPPENED!!! But there's plenty of fresh paint in the workout areas. This gym needs an overhaul....starting with the new owners! Look elsewhere.

Now with more parking. Yet the got hot tubs do not work and hasn't since I have been a member. Also they no longer have the rock climbing wall. Other then that they have all the equipment you would ever need.

Amazing there is many places to leave your kids. You can have your kids work out with you too.

They won't take cash to pay for a membership. Most likely because if you sign up for an eft you will forget about it and keep paying when you're not going anymore, and they can say they have lower monthly fees even if they slap you with a random fee 3 months into your eft. WHO DOESN'T TAKE CASH ANYMORE?????!!!!!! Your cash is no good at this place, hahaaa wild.

Not many choices in tahoe. It's either here or anytime fitness. There are more crossfit gyms, but I can't afford the 150 a month. To many machines here for my liking. The "functional fitness" room is only accesible to trainers. There is one squat rack but 3 sets of every dumbell. The HITT room is just more machines with a interval timer on the wall. Wouldn't plan your workout unless it's a Sunday because there's not much equipment or space available. There are certain times of day you can't even get a parking spot. Bright spots are the staff, the rock wall, and tires out back. I just don't like gyms that try to box you into one way of doing fitness.

The guys at the front are very nice and helpful. I went awhile back and didn't join at first because there were some women who had attitudes working there, but the guys that work there now are super nice and helpful. There's a lot of equipment and there are cleaning stations everywhere so you can wipe down the equipment before using it. The steam room in the girls' locker room needs some updating but the locker rooms and bathrooms always seem clean. I haven't tried any of the classes. But there is also a large room with plenty of cardio equipment and big screen tvs. I have the premium membership but have not tried the free personal training yet. But a friend says she uses the free training session once a month and finds it helpful. Also I have seen people complain about parking but I have always been able to find a spot. However I heard it gets much busier in winter so we will see how that goes. I think it's a great value for the price. I went to a much nicer gym before I moved here but it was double the cost. Also I was told I had to give 30 days notice to cancel but I believe the contract says 60 days so I would just be sure to give a few months notice if you need to cancel.

If you pay your fee on time they won't bother you and send you to collections . People who complain on here are mad because they don't pay on time and are a weeks late . I have not had one issue in years and work out here all the time . I think it's great and highly encourage everyone to join !

The class instructors (particularly Terre, Lara, and Tiffany) put a phenomenal effort into every class. Their levels of creativity and talent that they use to motivate their students is quite rare and greatly appreciated.
