The gym was ok but once I injured my hip and was unable to workout, the problems began. I went in on March to cancel my membership and was reminded of the 30 day cancellation policy, (no problem), and was fine paying the March dues. Come April, I was charged again, after 30 days. I called in and the staff seemed very apologetic and accommodating...looked up my account and notified me that the cancellation was not done in the system. They then told me it was fixed and cancellation was inputted into the system. Come May, I was again charged dues and became very upset, with hip surgery scheduled and unable to work out. I went in and asked for manager, (second attempt), Marta helped me stating manager was not there. She put in a request to cooperate for reimbursement for the past 2 months of dues and told me in would take 30 days to process request and for money to be reimbursed. Now it is June, over 30 days from request and not only has the past 2 months of dues still not have been reimbursed to me but I have again been charged for June dues. I am irate at this point, lost for words and just had a total hip replacement 2 weeks ago and am unable to go in to further dispute. This is bad business!! I called and left a message for the manager to call me back regarding this matter. After 3 days passed with no call back, I again called and asked for manager. Marta tried to help me again trying to handle the matter again without involving the manager. Where is this manager?? Why have I not been able to speak with him? Why hasn't this been resolved?? This is unacceptable and the last thing I need to be dealing with after a major surgery and on disability with a reduced income.
Update: Almost 3 months later, called several more times and never heard back from a manager. I still have not received my refund or heard back from the cooperate office regarding my refund.

Would be so much better if there was a sauna. Maybe even a yoga class to go with the sauna. Oh well, you get what you pay for. Other than that, it's not bad.

I joined this gym almost a year ago. Lo g and short is when I joined they offered personal training and although I've worked out off and on for most my life, have had pt's at other gyms ive joined, I decided to get o e here... WORST MISTAKE I MADE WITH THESE THIEVES!
I was training with a guy name T.J. who in short trained me for 6 out the 20 sessio s I had to pay for in full before they'll start training you which was $40.00 per 30 minute session and at 20 sessions that was $800.00
I had gotten busy with work and had not been able to come in for a few weeks...one day during this time through social media I found out my trainer no longer worked for these guys Fitness Evolution/Revolution and the company just did away with the PT program with no notice to its members.
Here's where it gets real shity...i went into the gym and asked for a refund since, I had only been trained 6 times out of the 20 I paid for...since the beginning of trying to get my money back they have given me the run around.
They emailed me paper work saying to sign it and they would refund me $400.00 of my money. Although they owe me $560.00 there were 4 sessions that the trainer T.J. text me saying he could make our session and he text me a work out to do...and although he didn't train me he marked off that he did...talk about a thief. Fast forward to today going on 4 months or more now easily...The manager at this gym now Chris has been working with me and seems like a stand up guy but, I'm not 100% as, I came into the gym again today 1/20/2018 @11:30 am roughly. I asked Chris where is my money? He told me that, since he gave a credit of $160.00 which was for the 4 sessions TJ lied about training me...they weren't going to give me my money back. He said this came from Lidia and some other guy in their corporate office...mind you I have signed documents on company letter head via email almond with every other email since this has begun. So, I will see how this goes? But, I would βββDEFINITELY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! THEY HAVE AND SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICESβββ
Trust me, your better off somewhere else and paying a little more. Join In shape or one of the other gyms but, these people are thieves and a rip off. Even with documentation that the trainer they employed wasn't training me all the time but was taking credit that was (i.e. getting paid) the corporate office still refused to refund me my total amount due. And now they are saying they are not going to refund me at all...although it's not a huge amount of money, it's the principal of it all. I'm going to speak with a an attorney about it even though it's a small claims matter I'm sure. Just want to get some direction and to show them they can't just do what ever they think they want too. My gut is telli g me they've ripped off others before...one red flag is the fact they've changed the name 3 times in 1 year. Something isn't right with this outfit.
You have been warned. I'll be taking my money to a gym who does care about the people who pay the bills there...based on my research In Shape is a good company to invest in yourself with.

This people stole from me, they kept charging me for months after I cancelled my account multiple times, every time I called I couldnβt get ahold of a manager or they would promise a call back and never called back, other times they told me my account was cancelled and they continued to charge me multiple times. I tried to get my money back and they refused to refund me my money, I would never give this people my money, terrible communication between the workers and management.

Great staff, I actually enjoy the music being loud. Night time crew seems better than the day time. They could use more squat racks but really the best deal in our little Vacaville for a gym. They also have tanning and deep water massages.

Transfer of membership from Fitness 19. Finally in the area for a weekend, and went to work out. I loved the facility. Super clean, great variety of free weight machines and selectorized machines, everything in fabulous condition, and everything was operating. The staff was friendly and helpful, as were the members. I've worked as a Specialized Personal Trainer at several high end San Francisco and Oakland health clubs, and the offerings here meet most of those standards (FreeMotion cable system machines are what's missing). All in all I've been very pleased with each visit. Too bad I'm only here a few times per month.

Billing leaves much to be desired. They say it's 9.99 a month then it turns out different. And the lock in rate fee no one explained to me? Not acceptable. Seems like a Lotta double speak going on. Say what the fees are and don't let customers find out on their own. Gives a shady reflection of the business. Facility is great, staff generally friendly but it's shadowed by hidden fees.

Confirming a previous review that was made by a different reviewer in regards to the cancellation policy. I came in April to have my account cancelled. I spoke to an employee by the name of Jason and told him my situation. I live in Texas and was only in California for a few months. I knew they had a 30 day cancellation policy; thus why I came in April because I was leaving in May. The guy told me that I can come in closer to my departure time to have the account cancelled. So I did. May 16th, I come in and have a different lady help me with my cancellation. She said everything was good to go. Didn't tell me about being charged another 10 bucks for the following 30 days since that is there policy. I've just been charged another 10 dollars and I'm here in TX typing this review. Apparently the 30 day policy allows you to workout at their gym before the membership officially cancels out. If I had known this, I would have cancelled back in April initially! No one told me about this part until I had to call just now from TEXAS. These guys have been under fire previously for having lousy cancellation policies a few years back. They haven't changed in my opinion. This would have been avoidable if they just had told me that the 30 day cancellation policy had allowed me to still utilize their facility until the official cancellation date. Really ridiculous and such horrible lack of communication. Will never use their name or any affiliations ever again.
***Update 5/24/2017:
I was informed last night that Jason would give me a call today first thing in the morning. It is now 1600 hrs (4PM) CST and I have yet to receive a phone call.

I'm not expecting them to give me a call back at this point. It has been two days since my last phone call with the gym and they failed to keep their end of the word. They can keep my 10 bucks, but will never have a penny more.

Horrible Service. I cancelled my membership, in person, yet they still charged me for two more months. When I went in again, they stopped future charges and said I would be refunded the two months. It has now been another month and a half, and I have not been refunded. When I called to inquire about my refund, I was on hold for 30 minutes and then just hung up. I would never recommend this gym to anyone.

New/well maintained machines. Friendly staff. Affordable monthly rate. Only problem is that since Fitness 19 closed it is entirely too crowded. Most days I have to find alternate exercises because there are people hovering/waiting around all the main weightlifting equipment.

I was part of Fitness 19. Since the move / transfer, I haven't had any issues. The machines are very up to date & easy to use. Only gave 4 stars because it seems like any time I want to use a different machine, (usually a weight machine) they are always being used.

The staff is very nice a professional and the equipment is great. My only complaint is they are a little light on the Olympic weights and could use some heavier curl bars . None of this are a big deal and In no way should stop you from using this gym . I'm just being picky.

Bought a year of 2nd tier membership got into a motorcycle accident a few months after. After 3 shoulder surgeries finally ready to hit the gym my membership just ran out now they want me to pay a fee to re-join?? That's pretty cold considering I paid for 9 months that I couldn't come in. Also they don't let you freeze your account if you pay a year in advance.

My personal trainer is exactly what you need to help reconfigure your body. Just asked for Jay when you call or get there in person. The entire staff is almost perfect in their respective duties. The machines are modern and above all the monthly and personal training rates are unbeatable in the area.
