About the Club

My name is Teresa Cedeno I am a certified personal trainer and a former weight-loss client. I offer 30-45-60-minute workout sessions at my private studio, at your home, or at a park.
I want to share my knowledge and experience with you. I always assumed losing weight was going to make me love myself. I hired a trainer and lost weight, but to my surprise, I still found things to hate about myself. I realized I needed to transform the way I spoke to myself and how I viewed weight loss if I wanted to maintain my new weight. Ultimately, I want to help you lose weight while training healthy mental habits.

As a female personal trainer, she uniquely understands the female body, including how hormones and energy fluctuate. Her certification in women’s coaching is evident in her customized workout programming. She made me feel instantly comfortable, seen, and empowered to lift heavier. Teresa is an outstanding personal trainer! Being in the west valley, I wanted someone in the Canoga Park, West Hills area so I could see her right after work. Love the privacy of her personal gym so I don’t feel watched by others when working out. I’ve had personal trainers in the past and nobody matches Teresa. She has a wholistic approach and makes me feel comfortable going to over my diet, my struggles and my fitness goals. Having a female personal trainer makes it to where I’m not feeling judged, especially since Teresa celebrates all my wins, big and small. Having a woman personal trainer push me and guide me to meet my goals has helped me go farther than I have with any other personal trainer I have ever had. Since starting with Teresa, my posture has improved, I move better and feel stronger. She creates workouts around my knee problems and still finds a way to kick my butt. I think she enjoys her job a little too much…since she’s always making the exercises harder for me. I keep coming back though haha in fact this is the longest I’ve maintained a workout routine and it’s thanks to Teresa’s coaching. She has a great personality and is talented at what she does. Teresa is a miracle worker. I have a constantly changing schedule and exercise needs due to work and she knows exactly which areas to address before I even think to mention it. I’ll throw 100 aches and pains at her and she immediately knows what niche little muscle needs to be worked on to fix it all. She’s so good at checking in right when she can sense when I’m having a little dip in motivation, it’s telepathic I swear. I also love how she addresses little daily areas of improvement I don’t even think of, like nutrient food intake. She really wants you to feel your best and focuses on strength over all else. My trainer, Theresa, is a true specialist in her field. As a senior, my needs differ and it’s important your trainer understand how to work with a senior female like myself. My goals include increasing my strength, my balance and general health in the years ahead. Teresa is very experienced regarding how the body works and adjusts your exercises to meet your custom workout program. I’ve stuck to my program with weekly visits this year and Im so happy that my energy levels are so much improved. I also have her focus on specific parts of the body that need increased strength, or help with healing. Teresa’s cheerful and spacious studio is also conveniently located for me. But you can also schedule home visits.

I have veen working out with Teresa for about 2 years. I am a senior and she is great at customizing my workout around any pain I may be experiencing due to arthritis, etc. Teresa makes sure that my form is correct to prevent injury. Teresa is very upbeat and I look forward to my sessions with her. She usually spends the last 5 minutes using the
massage gun on me. Each month she asks me what I want to focus on. I also love the variety of exercises we do. It keeps it interesting.

Coach Teresa is amazing! From the first session I’ve had, she’s really been able to help me pinpoint my goals and lock in. She’s great at modifying our sessions based on what my level of understanding of the movements/exercises are and gives informative explanations of proper form.

She gives you detailed explanations of how to structure your workouts both in and out of your sessions with her, which is also super helpful for accountability!

I have been a client for 10 years or so. Theresa is so good at what she does. My workouts are designed for my wants and needs. Each week has different exercises in the 3 round circuit. She makes sure my posture, stance and body position is correct. She pushes me to do better. And makes me sweat! I love Theresa! I never give a 10 out of 10 but she always gets at least a 9.875 (that’s just so she pushes me harder next time)

I first started working with Teresa in preparation for a strenuous backpacking trip, and with her help, I was able to focus on making memories, not worrying whether my body would be able to handle it. Teresa is an amazing trainer. She’s really helped me with my fitness goals as well as nutritional ones. I came to her asking for help balancing my diet as well as training me. She went above and beyond for both. She has worked with me to help build my level of fitness never giving me something I can’t handle but challenging me at the same time. I have been training with Teresa for three months now and I am stronger, smarter, and can't stop looking at my newly toned arms.
I work in a male-dominated field that requires lots of physical labor, so I told Teresa my goal was to be strong enough to perform all the same tasks everyone else seemed to do easily. She understood my goals right away and got to work. Now, I have muscle definition where I didn't know I had muscles and Teresa has so much knowledge about the body I always walk away having learned something new. In addition to simply getting fit I learned proper techniques for lifting and carrying that have saved my back a few times at work.
Teresa also works with my schedule, keeps great communication, and is extremely motivational with a positive attitude, even when I'm on the third round of tricep pushups and I'm about to collapse. She never stops encouraging me while pushing me to the next goal.
