If you're looking for a personal trainer, look no further. Brian is the perfect person to work with. He caters your program to meet your fitness goals.
I went to Brian to begin my fitness journey with the goal of getting bigger. He started my program off slowly to ensure that I get the form correct before going to heavier weights. He closely pays attention to how you perform your exercises, areas that you're struggling with, and guides you through ways to improve it. During my time with him, I injured my shoulder from a work event and he was able to alter/ switch my exercises so that it wouldn't impact the injury while it was healing.
He is incredibly knowledgeable with the exercises and areas that it is working out. Brian is incredibly personable, motivational, and down to earth. I only saw him for three months and would've continued with him if I didn't have to move for work.

I've been training with Brian for about 1.5 year now. He's very dedicated, fun to be around, and attentive. He emphasizes proper forms, postures, and techniques; so you're engaging your muscles effectively and preventing injuries. You can learn so much from him.
He pushes you, but at your pace, and gets you to gradually level up with diverse work out plans and intensity. His training allows you recover properly, so your not super exhausted or sore, but actually have energy and motivation to come back for more sessions throughout the week.

I really don’t like going to the gym, it was difficult for me to stay motivated on my own. I found Brian Lim at Fitness Movement Academy and he was the best fitness trainer! He gave me weekly and monthly goals and was able to help me meet my fitness goals before my wedding. He didn’t make me feel intimated or lose interest and made the workouts engaging which is hard to do. I’m a dancer and get bored easily when I keep doing the same workouts so his custom workout program with changing movements and continuous motivation really transformed me. I highly recommend Fitness Movement Academy!!

Brian is a great trainer! I have been training with him since 2020. He carefully creates workout plans that are tailored to my needs and goals. He spends time not only on helping me through the exercises, but also educating me on the importance of good form and proper nutrition. I’ve been training with Brian for about a year now. During my 20s, I had a consistent workout routine – mostly group exercise classes (yoga, pilates, cycling). But then came the pandemic plus stress from work and personal life. I didn’t exercise for almost two years, and it was affecting both my mental and physical health. I tried to exercise on my own again, but after a few months, I realized I wanted something a bit different this time, which led me to Brian.
I was researching personal trainers near my area and found Brian on Yelp. He had great reviews from his clients and many years of experience so I decided to reach out for an initial consultation. He was super friendly and approachable. We talked about goals and expectations and scheduled our training sessions, which started with a thorough assessment.
I never had a personal trainer so wasn’t quite sure what to expect. I’m so grateful I started this journey with Brian. Brian is the most supportive, patient, and encouraging trainer. He is very knowledgeable and committed, constantly learning through various certifications and continuing education. His workouts are hard. He pushes you just the right amount, enough to challenge you while maintaining proper form. Since training with Brian, I feel so much stronger and healthier. I lost fat, gained muscle, and lift heavier than I ever have. Highly recommend!

I have worked out with Brian for a year and met with him (or tried to) 4 times a week. My experience overall has been incredible, but sadly I have to leave due to work, but I will be back!
Brian is incredibly knowledgeable in kinesiology and personal training. He's a very experienced personal trainer who had worked at various fitness centers before opening his own. His coaching style is very personable, patient, customizable and encouraging. He tailors the exercise regimen based on client's goals and wishes. He will coach you every session along the way and make sure your form is correct without injuring yourself but also will push you so you actually believe you can do it! Often times I had doubts about being able to lift this weights but he made me believe I can and I did!
His gym is super clean, private with full equipments! With plenty of parking. It is pretty hard to find a private gym studio with a personal trainer so I'm truly thankful for this gym.
Highly highly highly recommended! He just recently was voted the "Best personal trainer" in Monrovia. Well earned
