I'm so happy I found Fitness Together! I came in after physical therapy didn't fix my back problems, and Kyle was so knowledgable and helpful (much more than the different physical therapists I've seen to try to get help). I love how the entire team stays up-to-date on new techniques and research, and are genuinely excited about fitness and health. I mostly work with Angel and Kelly, and I've been so impressed with how knowledgeable, supportive, and aware they are (along with friendly). My program is customized for my goals (being able to carry both of my 3yo twins at one time, without hurting my back), but Angel and Kelly also always check-in on how I'm feeling during a set or exercise, and will help me make adjustments if I'm having an off day or experiencing any pain. I'm much stronger than I was 6 months ago, I haven't thrown out my back once since I started, and I've legitimately enjoyed every session - it's been easy to stay committed. I highly recommend working with them!

I have been with FT since May of 2023. One of the best decisions I have made was moving from 2X a week to 3X a week. My strength has improved rapidly and I love the new routines every 4 weeks. Each phase has three different workouts and, if you do 3X a week, they last 4 weeks. One of my challenges is boredom and I can sat I have never gotten bored at FT.

Jason, the trainer who designs my programs, does an amazing job of keeping it challenging and supporting my goals. I credit Jason's program for my hip improvement. I went from thinking I needed PRP or maybe even an ortho consult to having no hip ache at all. Miraculous.

Kyle and Linsey are great owner operators and create a great environment for the clientele.

I’ve been training here for a while now. I train with Nick and Angel. I have to say I love working out here. They make the workouts super fun. Even when I’m having an off day and don’t want to come to class, I’m always glad I did after working out. They are always supportive of what I want and not what they think I need. They really listen to what I want to accomplish for myself. One size does not fit all and they understand that.
The hours that they provide are very flexible, especially for a full time working mom. My trainers are very mindful of injuries I have. Always asking how I’m doing and if anything hurts. When I do have an injury they always change up my workout routine so I can still get a great workout without further injuring myself. They give me clear and great instructions on how to perform each exercise. I like having the one on one training, that way I don’t skip out on a full set, which I tend to do when I’m tired. I like that I’m not rushed and I don’t have to wait in line in order to use or share equipment.
Fitness Together in Dana Point really is a great place to workout. It’s always fun and they make me accountable. Thanks again Nick and Angel, you guys are the Best!

I wanted to try them because I wanted accountability. I had tried different avenues of working out -- the gym, group fitness classes, an online program. Everything worked okay but if I didn't show up, there wasn't anyone to hold me accountable and when I was tired or just didn't feel like it, I just didn't show up. I thought if I had to show up for another person and I was paying for every class then I would keep up with it. Turns out I was correct. No matter how I was feeling or whether I felt like it or not, I still showed up because I knew there was someone else waiting for me and I had already paid for the session.

It helped me build a disciplined practice. This is the best way that I have found for consistent results. In 7 weeks, I lost 5 lb of fat and gained a pound and a half of muscle.

Yes it's expensive but if you actually want results then it's a no-brainer.

Everyone there is fantastic. I have worked out with every single trainer. Specific shout out to Jason and Moe! They're the best!!

I have been a client of fitness together for a year and a half. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences and improvements to my fitness and health. This year alone, I achieved two of my goals with their help. One I was able to touch my toes for the first time in 50 years. Without them focusing on improving my flexibility this would never have happened. The other goal was I was able to achieve was a push-up for the first time in my life.

While the cost of the training is premium, the way I look at it is that in the long-term I am saving a lot of money in co-pays! The cost is a premium, but the focus and attention they give me for exceeds the expense. I’m very grateful to the owner Kyle for his encouragement throughout my journey. Kyle (Owner of FT) has demonstrated the ability to design innovative, personalized work-out plans that target the fitness goals for both myself and my wife who has Parkinson's Disease. Each plan is made up of different subsections, allowing the exercises each week to vary, increasing the training effect and reducing repetition/boredom.

Both Kyle and the trainers working at FT have an authentic passion for fitness, and in each workout work to encourage proper form while encouraging a person to do their best. The best one-on-one program for overall fitness that I've worked with. Exercises engage multiple muscle groups in a full range of motion. Adjustments are made as needed to bring those muscle groups up to speed so that everything is progressing together. Everyone is positive and encouraging every step of the way. You will work hard, sweat, but feel energized for the day. As a pretty atrophied senior, after a month of 2x a week sessions the increase in strength, mobility and stability really surprised me. No matter how old you are, this will improve your quality of life. Do it!

The staff is fantastic! Having an "appointment" to work out keeps me coming regularly and I enjoy working 1:1 with a trainer who makes sure I have proper form for all exercises. The trainers are all very professional and very knowledgeable about anatomy and kinesiology. They not only know the various workouts but know WHY they combine them. They also keep apprised of the trainees abilities. I have crummy knees. When I started doing squats, the trainer realized I could not go so low and gave me a higher mark to shoot for. I am a physician and the first tenet is "Do no harm." I have been working out with FT for many years and can honestly say that they have done me no harm but have made me stronger and more fit. I started working out after having breast cancer and the medications were heading me to osteoporosis. My primary goal with FT was to increase bone density. I now have normal bone density. I do not work out because I love to sweat. I work out for my health.

I cannot speak highly enough of Fitness Together Dana Point. As a college student in Dallas, I was only able to work with the trainers here for the 6 weeks I was in SoCal, and still the impact they had on my life was monumental. The environment in the studio is so positive and empowering, and every member of the staff genuinely cares about each client. They worked around my knee injury so well, making sure my workouts were effective but didn’t cause any pain. I trained with Kyle in Santa Monica for over 2 years and I love the personal attention of this boutique-style gym. Not only do you get strength training but Kyle gives you a cardio program, nutrition guidance and progress assessments every 6 weeks. I love the small group pack classes, which are great circuit workouts. You could use free weights, kettle bells, TRX, med balls, sandbags and body weight all in one session! And don't even get me started on the conditioning at the end...talk about needing to dig deep for the final 5-8min burn! Every month the training focus changes which keeps your body from getting use to the workouts and plateauing. Whatever your goals are, Kyle gives you the tools and motivation to WIN!! I am known to not stay committed and to easily quit everything. But Kyle made it so enjoyable but challenging at the same time. I love fitness together they kept be consistent and got me to be less afraid of pushing limits. Kyle has been my trainer for over 4 years he is very knowledgeable about how to work around any past injuries you may have but still get you into shape! He changes your phase every 6 weeks so your body does not get accustomed to the workout plan and so you can keep attaining results. I told myself when I first started I would only be working out with a personal trainer for 6 months maybe 1 year but here I am 4 years later still working out with Fitness Together. The studio is bright and spacious with updated fitness equipment. The personal training is customized to my specific needs and my trainer, Kyle is a delight to work with. I recently gave Fitness Together Dana Point a try and couldn't be happier with my decision.

Kyle, the owner and my trainer, is exactly what I needed: super knowledgeably, great motivator (but not in an over aggressive way), and overall good guy. His positivity is infectious, and you can feel that he actually cares about me succeeding--awesome one-on-one personal trainer.

I'm already feeling better (and looking better according to my wife) than I have in years.

The studio is incredibly clean, and private, plus parking is a breeze--just behind the building (same spot if if you go to Stacks Pancake House).
