I recently changed gyms to Flex Base Training. From the first class, I could tell this was going to be different and better. The trainers are highly knowledgeable and genuinely invested in your fitness goals. If you goal is to get stronger, lose weight, build muscle etc. this is the place for you. The path to success is here. In a 6 week span, most of us have either increased muscle mass, lost body fat and/or lost weight. The results speak for themselves. Additionally, the community is super supportive! I can highly recommend Flex Base Training - for any fitness goals.

I've been training at Flex Base since they opened about 3 months ago, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite gyms. I go 3-4 times a week for their group classes, which are heavily focused on weight training — think squat racks, bench press, and structured strength work instead of endless circuits.
The gym is spotless, the equipment is all brand new, and the vibe is awesome. The coaches are incredible — super supportive but also push you to go heavier and challenge yourself. It’s not your typical group class where you're bouncing between stations nonstop. Here, you spend time (12–15 mins) at each station so you can actually focus on form and strength.
The community is super welcoming and motivating, whether you're just starting out or you’ve been lifting for years. Since joining, I’ve already seen improvements in my strength and have been steadily gaining weight and getting stronger, which was my main goal.
If you're looking for a clean, motivating, no-BS gym that emphasizes real progress — Flex Base is it. Highly recommend checking it out!

I can’t say enough good things about this new gym in the South Bay. Michelle and Nik have built something truly special—not just a place to work out, but a real community. Whether you’re just getting started or you’re a seasoned athlete, they meet you where you are and push you to improve in a way that feels both challenging and incredibly supportive.
Their programming is thoughtful, scalable, and energizing. Every class is well-structured, and no two workouts feel the same. But what really sets this place apart is the culture. From day one, you feel welcomed. People remember your name. They cheer you on. And the vibe—positive, focused, and inclusive—is clearly a reflection of the care and intention Michele and Nik bring to the gym every day.
If you’re in the South Bay and looking for a place to grow stronger—physically and mentally—this is it.

It’s one of the better workouts I have had in a long time. Great, attentive trainers that correct form and give a push when needed; fun, energetic environment; well maintained and clean; challenging classes that are always changing; and overall just a gem. Classes focus on conditioning, strength or some combo. Have days dedicated to legs, arms and full body. Plenty of weights and stations.

I cannot say enough great things about Flex Based Training! After spending 7 years at Orangetheory, I didn’t think I could find a gym that I loved even more — but Flex has completely raised the bar. The workouts are smarter, more personalized, and way more effective for what I was looking for.
The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and truly care about helping you get stronger, faster, and healthier. Every workout feels intentional and tailored, not just a “one size fits all” class. I actually look forward to coming here — it’s the best part of my day. The energy, the community, and the results have been amazing.
I’m in the best shape I’ve been in years and genuinely happier training at Flex. Highly, highly recommend to anyone serious about getting better and loving the process along the way!
