I can honestly say my experience at CrossFit Fog City was excellent. I was only in San Francisco for about a month and needed a gym, so I signed up for a temporary one-month membership and I couldn’t be more satisfied.
The gym is massive and has just about every piece of equipment you could ask for. The coaching staff was awesome great programming, fun classes, and a really positive atmosphere. Gordon, the owner, was extremely responsive and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
Whether you’re in town temporarily or looking for a long-term fitness home, I highly recommend checking out CrossFit Fog City. The space and community are amazing!

Wonderful gym! I've been coming to classes consistently for over a year now and have enjoyed every day. Fog City was my first real introduction to strength training and the coaches have all been extremely supportive and helpful from the beginning. Plus I've gotten a lot stronger!

Fantastic gym! I have been part of the weightlifting class (coached by Kate Fulghum) for a year now and have achieved milestones that I didn’t even think were possible for me. Overall the gym is clean and the people are friendly/good training partners!

Dropped in for a morning training with Noah on May 14th and really enjoyed the atmosphere, the WOD itself but also the other folks training with.

Fog City isn’t just a gym – it’s a place where friendships are built, and personal records are broken. The coaches genuinely care about each member’s progress, pushing you while keeping the energy high and the vibe positive. It’s the perfect spot for anyone looking to challenge themselves, connect with like-minded people, and build real, lasting fitness. Highly recommend for those who want more than just a workout – they want a community.

Visiting from abroad, dropped in during Christmas eve, thank you Coach Georgy for being generous and coaching a private class and the hospitality!

Really a space of good energy and friendliness since I arrived to take the first class, they were very kind, since I was looking for a place where I felt at home since I had been practicing Croosfit for some time in Argentina and found this beautiful place. I am in the process of learning the language and that has not been a limitation, there are several coaches who speak it, I feel at home. Thank you

Super welcoming and relaxed place, I had to work hard but had fun the whole time. Feels like a great place to workout regularly. Good luck with the 1RM squats next week all!

Fantastic and welcoming gym regardless of whether you are just starting out, coming back after some time, or are an athlete with a ton of experience.

We purchased a pack of training sessions to for this facility at a school fundraiser. When we tried to contact fog city to redeem them multiple times, they didn’t respond to us. Save your money, go elsewhere.

Beware. I’m a local teacher, live 2 blocks from this gym, and I started doing CrossFit during COVID here. I have old injuries in my shoulder and knee so I altered the motions a bit or only do what is comfortable for me. One day, after four months of happily training there, meeting people and making friends, I was told I could either “do exactly as the trainer said or not come.” No warning. No discussion.
Also it is extraordinarily expensive for what is just a regular gym - $300+ per month - that is $3600 per year - think what you could do with that? Equinox is only $275.

A hidden gem. There's a real, actual community and "working class" feel to the place. Inside the gym everyone's the same and the fun and education of getting fit together takes precedence here. Highly highly recommend for both physical and mental well being.

FCCF is so welcoming and a place I’d recommend to anyone looking for great workouts, facilities, and community. The classes are well structured and the coaching staff is super knowledgeable. Scaling options and adjustments for injuries are always offered. These folks are so nice and make amazing training/accountability buddies. Moved out of SF recently and leaving this community will be one of the hardest changes.
