Went to this studio for a couple of years. They don’t keep a consistent schedule at this location that made it so I had to choose between work and being able to practice.

This studio can be ok if you don’t sign up for a yearly membership. If you do, don’t have any expectations of what you will get for that. The support staff that handles this part of the business is AWFUL and (as nicely as they can) tell you to kick rocks if you have an issue.

I have been attending classes at Folk in Bernal and Noe for a few months now. Very friendly and accommodating staff and teachers and great variety of classes. Great locations!

Such a great spot for a variety of practice types! I’m a big fan of the power yoga class when you want to get more of a workout in. All of the instructors are great as well

I have been to several of the Folk studios (Mission, Noe & Bernal) - there is a great mixture of yoga and fitness classes to restore or invigorate. The classes are great, the teachers and other students are really friendly, can't recommend highly enough.

My favorite of the Folk locations. Stellar teachers like Nicole, Chelsea, and Becca—I love their Power Flow classes. Always challenging but not overly rigorous.

I love this studio, it’s intimate and bright. Becca is an absolutely fantastic teacher- she understands joint hyper mobility, so if you find yourself super flexible and with a sore lower back after classes, take her class- she can help you correct poses so you don’t hurt yourself and stretch muscle, not connective tissue!

I love Moxie! I’ve been practicing with them for nearly five years now at 20th street, Bernal, and online and am consistently amazed at how much my fitness level, balance, and self-knowledge has grown as a result. There is a good mix of teachers and intensity in classes, but always excellent cues and pace. Caitlin and Tanya are some favorites but I’ve never had a bad class with any instructor. Thank you Moxie for getting me through the pandemic and helping me grow my practice!

I absolutely love Moxie and it's community, they have 5 studios in the city that really helps with anyone's schedule. What I like the most is that teachers come from different backgrounds, you get to learn and practice different styles of classes every time you go. All studios except Nobhill are VERY spacious, they impose COVID restrictions with yoga mat's spacing, masks are required, they take temperature before each class, it's just wonderful.

Can't wait to go back to in person yoga at this awesome studio! I love working out in an 80 degree infrared heated room. Feels like I'm doing yoga in Hawaii or something.
For people who do appreciate the spiritual side of yoga, like myself, I wouldn't take their "just yoga, no BS" vibe too seriously. All of the instructors bring depth to the practice.

Yoga classes at MOXIE are EXACTLY as described on their website - efficient, accessible, free of spiritual guidance, thoughtfully sequenced, and taught by incredibly kind and knowledgeable instructors. Within this framework, students will find they have the space to approach their yoga practice in a way that works for them- they can determine and achieve their own personal goals.
For example, I have been practicing at MOXIE for over two years. I started as a 1-2 times/week attendee, looking for a little stretching to add to my fitness routine. As things in my life have changed, I have found the reasons why I practice at MOXIE have also changed. Now, I look for a chance to practice breath work as a way to reduce stress and icorporate MOXIE yoga into my life almost daily. Both reasons for showing up were welcomed at MOXIE and were supported by their intentional methodology. I feel confident that other students would agree with me. We show up (and stay) for different reasons, but we all find a path of growth at MOXIE!
