Josh is a really great teacher! He doesn't assume previous knowledge or ability and gives variations with a good rhythm and natural flow. I appreciate the way he specifies which muscles should stretch or flex, it makes yoga intentional for veterans and approachable for beginners. The space feels clean and maintained. Good air filters are always a plus.

As a someone new to practicing yoga, this is great place for a beginner. Helpful and knowledge teachers, without judgement or criticism. A comfortable place to practice and learn. A ton of different classes and diverse schedule is great. Would recommend to anyone! Thanks Folk!

This is such a charming yoga studio! The location has changing rooms, lots of cubby space, and a clean, bright studio space (looks recently renovated). I love the classes they are offer and the teachers are great and friendly.

I have been coming to this Folk location for about a year and I love it so much! I primarily attend Carolyn's mobility and strength classes, the flexibility and strength I have gained over the past year of attending her classes are amazing and she is such a great and knowledgeable instructor.

I was so sad to move away. Folk 7AM classes turned me into a morning person. I really enjoyed the energy and variety of Carolyn’s classes. She’s super knowledgeable about the body and is a stickler for good form which I appreciate. Instead of getting injured doing wild workouts elsewhere, see Carolyn and she can literally help you rehabilitate your injuries (she helped me strengthen an ankle I sprained while running) and provide alternative movements too (which I needed during pregnancy). I also really liked Joe’s yoga classes and Renee’s conditioning classes! And also, the location is great. Right next to kahnfections for a well deserved treat after working out!

Joe’s yoga classes are simply incredible workouts. Such positive energy. I traditionally do HIIT and swimming, my wife traditional Yoga. Joe’s classes check all the boxes.

I have taken 3 classes with Renee over the past few weeks, they are great - challenging and yet accessible. Many of the strength exercises I have never done before they are pushing me in a direction I don't get from my usual routine of jogging & yoga. Will be going back for more.

really great no-frills yoga studio. I usually prefer hot yoga, but the 80 degree studio does get you sweating. I love that the teachers give multiple options for different levels.

Wonderful, highly skilled teachers. The classes challenge you in a good way, with an emphasis on proper form, and never get boring. Before the shutdown I went weekly, and I miss it.

A good studio for what it offers. This is a fitness-fusion style studio instead of a more traditional Hatha practice. The asanas are a "Moxie" developed sequence built off of the basics. The physical focus is on flow, versus stillness.

I bought a one week trial pass, which suited my time in San Francisco, so I had the benefit of trying multiple classes. Even when trying the same type of class, sequences will range based on instructor, so I recommend sticking to one instructor's class if you find one that you like.

The space itself is open, inviting and bright. They offer rental mats, and all needed aids for travellers without equipment. Giving it 3 stars and not 4, because the floors were a bit dusty on the 2 of 5 times I practiced within the week.

I LOVE THIS YOGA STUDIO.
The classes are athletic and fitness-oriented, but still maintain a great calming energy and fabulous adjustments. The space is clean and beautiful. The room isn't SUPER heated, but is still a really good workout even by this workout and sweat-addict's standards. I absolutely love this studio.
