I've been thinking a lot lately about what makes TJ such a good trainer. For me, it's about two things. First, he challenges my thinking whenever I say "I can't." This has been so important in changing my ideas about what I can accomplish in (& out of) the gym. And second, he never stops learning & adding to his repertoire of skills/knowledge. Most recently he's added Neuro Kinetic Therapy (NKT) and it's given me a new dimension to my training & body work that I really value. Thanks TJ!! --Denise

TJ is a great trainer and a great friend. He has helped me with strength and endurance as well as helped me heal a few injuries. He is knowledgeable about the anatomy of the body and I recommend working with him whether you are just starting your fitness journey or are looking to get a PR in the gym or race.

TJ is absolutely amazing! I had been nervous about finding a personal trainer for the longest time and finally decided to bite the bullet after a big life change, and I am so glad I did. TJ is such a hype man! Even when he's giving me critiques it's always positive and uplifting. I always walk away from our sessions feeling like a million bucks! I began my training with a deep look at my diet. After all, how can one maintain the desired physique without a balanced nutrition? I had been having digestive issues for some time and tried nearly everything to make it go away. That was where Fortuna Fitness came in. They started me off with what to eat and not eat. Immediately feeling better, we started hitting the weights while continuing the diet. There came the results! Before I knew it I went from having digestive issues to being comfortable in any kind environment you could imagine! Being a pilot, the last thing I ever wanted was to be stuck in a confined environment worrying about bodily functions taking over. NOT ANYMORE! I owe my meal planning and fitness routines to this incredible team of friends! Fortuna Fitness is more than just a trial, it’s a lifestyle. Rather than just being personal trainers, TJ and Sean are life coaches as well! They are patient and give you 100% of their attention but also push you to meet whatever your goals may be, mentally and physically. Thank you guys for making me feel so comfortable in the gym and teaching me a lot about proper form and breaking down the muscle groups for me in such detail. TJ Fortuna is the best !! I have been his client for around a year now and have seen great improvements overall. Having a trainer who is easy to work with is very important and picking TJ as the trainer was the best decision I made. He not only focuses on your exercise routines based on your goals but also gives great guidance on nutrition.

When I first started working out, I lacked consistency and motivation. This year I met my fitness goals and I owe it to the support and training of TJ Fortuna. TJ is very professional as well as personable. Every time I saw him at the gym he would ask how my fitness journey was going and how I was. Working with Fortuna Fitness was one the best decisions of my life! Before I signed up I didn't really know what I was doing at the gym, I didn't have a solid workout plan. I needed some structure and help with form, and just learning new exercises and Sean was a great trainer. In the 3 months I was working out with him I lost 9 pounds and dropped 4 inches off my waist. I even noticed that my watch that I hadn't worn in 6 months was loose and I had to readjust that. The only downside to working with Fortuna Fitness is you'll have to constantly buy smaller clothes (if you're looking to lose weight)
