As a kickboxing coach, I’ve had the pleasure of training my clients at Fortune Gym—and I really love it here. It’s a true old-school boxing gym with an authentic atmosphere. The owners, Justin and Tamara, treat everyone like family. You can feel the passion and care they put into this place. Whether you’re new to boxing or a seasoned fighter, you’ll feel right at home. Highly recommend! 🥊
And if you want to train Muay Thai or Kickboxing, ask me—Coach Tekin!

I live in Washington and came to Los Angeles for work last year. I stopped in and worked out during their morning and evening classes. All the instructors were very welcoming and knowledgeable. My last visit to Los Angeles was just a couple weeks ago. I took my step son with me to a morning class. Justin helped run the class and held mitts for us. Great experience and a great guy. Justin and Jake even took time for a quick pic with us. I’ll be coming back to his gym every time I come to LA.

I would recommend for several reasons.
It's the most beautiful gym in the city. Looks like a throwback to a bygone boxing era.
Check it out for yourself. Ask for coach TK

Went for first time (SUPER out of my way - I live in WeHo but my apartment is under construction so I’m staying in Studio City and drove down the hill on a rainy Saturday for this because I have wanted to check out the gym for a while now). I was 5 minutes late and they wouldn’t let me come, said it was too late to join. I’ve been 5 minutes late to a soulcycle or boxing class at different gyms before, very surprised they can’t make room especially on a rainy day. Gym looks clean and was excited to try here but I won’t come back.

I'm not a member but this gym is always going to town I hear them in the vape shop down stairs and see them practice fighting in the alley out back. I wouldn't want to tangle with them haha.

The real deal. Justin and Tamara are the owners and make sure that you get a max workout with or without their Pro Boxer Coaches. Not the gym for slackers!

I'm an Aussie so maybe I'm biased, but I'd say this is the best boxing gym in LA. The vibe is second-to-none; Justin, Tam and the team are all class acts; the facilities are excellent. What more could you want?

Upon moving to LA from Australia, Fortune became my new boxing gym. Justin and the team offer superb Boxing training at an elite level. I felt very welcome and at home - and not just because Justin is originally from Australia, too - but because of the welcoming nature of the space and the focussed coaching. Perfect for fitness or fight training. A most brilliant gym!

Fortunes gym is niceeee. It’s a beautiful built gym in west LA. Tammy and Justin were very welcoming since the first time I walked in. They have a great price for the open gym, and they let you use all of their gym. They made the parking lot into an outdoor gym so there’s extra space for sprints. They have all the bags you need (heavy, double, end, a big ring, a SnC area, speed bag) I will say since it’s a gym is west LA the personal training was above my budget, but the classes are affordable and so is the open gym membership. Overall it’s a great gym! Will definitely visit again once the Covid restrictions lessen. Thank you Tammy and Justin for all the hard work y’all put into the gym! 🙏🏼

Great gym for the novice or pro. When I'm on the road I always find a boxing gym for a drop. This place had everything a fighter needs, many big bags , two professional double end bags, and two speed bags. The ring was top notch quality. Only thing missing was a tear drop slip bag. Nice chat with David on the deck after work out..I will be back. Thanks again 🥊👍

I have been going to Fortune boxing gym since 2009, it is a great place to workout and get into boxing. Even if you are a novice when it comes to boxing, they have classes that can teach you the basic fundamentals of boxing and the teachers make it fun which is a big plus! This gym is clean and the owners and staff are very friendly and make you feel right at home the minute you walk into the door. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to get into shape and looking for fun while doing so!

Best boxing gym in Los Angeles- hands down!
Justin Fortune is an amazing trainer. His gym is always good for an intense work out and I like to get motivated by watching boxers sparring in the ring.
You don't have to be a boxer to get a great workout at Fortune's!

Wow what a great gym! Everyone there is extremely nice, the place is very clean and comfortable, especially for me, this being my first time in a boxing gym , and I felt right at home. Parking is really great too, for the location. I can't say enough good things about this place. I am glad I found it! I train with Jose Navarro at Fortune Gym gym, who is a GREAT trainer.
