If you’re looking for some typical gym this is NOT it. Learned about Functional Patterns system through social media and I’ve been working with Alex since August 2022. I see a big change in my overall posture and body alignment. My body feels stronger, I sleep better and I enjoy (not sure if ‘enjoy’ is the right word as it doesn’t come easy but once you get a hang of it feels pretty great) learning new patterns to move with ease. Alex is knowledgeable and a patient coach, highly recommend working with him.

Their trainers are contracted but the integrity of the facility is reflected by the people who work there. I signed up for time to train with them and was unsatisfied/unable to continue our arrangement. We settled for a partial refund which was promised to me but it has been almost over a month since we discussed this and I have yet to see the refund go through. I tried texting/calling the trainer without any response.

My quality of life has improved dramatically over 3 months of training with Alex. Body pain has reduced significantly, including lower back pain that I've been suffering from because of an injury 8 years ago. This is the perfect solution for people that are looking to put in the work to naturally correct their body mechanics - this is not an overnight bs solution. Alex and team takes the time to work through non-strenuous excursuses to help uncover issues and work to correct them and rebuild stronger. I explain functional pattern training to my family and friends as the perfect blend of physical therapy and strength training. I'm now back on my mountain bike and enjoying other physical actives with less pain, improved posture/mechanics and feeling stronger than ever!

You have to be impressed with Alex. He has a line of happy and loyal clients who praise him for helping them with their fitness needs. He is a terrific listener who finds out what are the health and wellness issues that each client wants to improve on, and works with each one to create a personal path to go after it with them. He helps them improve strength, get more fit, recover from injuries, become better athletes, lose weight, move freely without pain, feel good about themselves. Everything he does is tailored for that client. He adjusts as they need to adjust. He teaches how to do the exercises correctly to get the most benefit and avoid injury. He motivates each client to work hard at their own success, lot’s of encouragement and praise for doing well. As a Functional Patterns expert (multiple certifications), he is in contact with other Functional Patterns trainers around the world, trying to grow with them in this new fitness discipline. He also is educated in nutrition and wellness, counseling his clients on how to live healthily.

Hey guys, I've been working with Alex since last summer.

Just a background, I've been dealing with two herniated discs in my lumbar spine for several years now. By Summer 2019, the pain had become extremely limiting. I couldn't run, lift weights, or sit for extended periods of time without pain.

I can't say its been an easy journey, but eight months later I can run, lift, and sit without pain.

If you're struggling with a limiting injury, or just want to get into better shape, Alex is your guy, and Functional Patterns is your system.
