If you're looking for personal training, this is the place! I've worked with Rachel for about 9 months now and she's given me the support and the tools to feel confident in my fitness journey. I’ve been coming to Funktional Fitness now for about three months. I actually found this place from a buddy of mine and came into the gym as a guest. Right then and there I saw the coaching staff with clients, and met the owner Edgar and after talking to him for a few minutes, I signed up right away. About a month in, I fell in love with the place. It’s a true 24/7 gym. You can come anytime you want, as many times as you want and it’s always CLEAN! After watching the coaching staff work one-on-one with their clients for about a month, I saw how much they genuinely care about the clientele. They actually show interest and engage with the client and really put in the work to get you to your goals. With that being said, I signed up with one-on-one training with Edgar and man has my life changed. I’m 34 and I needed to seriously make some changes with my health. I’m down 17lbs and still going. Since working out here at Funktional Fitness, I’ve met some really awesome people who are the nicest people I’ve ever met. The Funktional Fitness community as a whole loves seeing each other succeed which keeps you motivated. If you’re looking to take that first step in having a healthier lifestyle, THIS IS THE PLACE TO MAKE THAT HAPPEN. Come check it out, you won’t regret it.

Look no further than Funktional Fitness. They offer something for everyone. Personal training, group classes, nutrition, meal prep, competitive training and 24 hour open gym memberships.
I was tired of going to commercialized, overcrowded, and filthy gyms with old equipment.
You will not find any of that at Funktional Fitness. I have been working with Rachel 1x1 for a few months now and the results speak for itself. Their pride in their work and client satisfaction is incomparable to anything I have experienced. The other members at the gym are just as supportive and friendly.
I've yet to try group classes and I'm certainly not training for any completion. But the results, awards(yes they won those competitions) and smiles I see from others utilizing those programs speaks for itself.
If you read this far you should be grabbing your car keys(or running) to Funktional Fitness to have Edgar and team show you what all the hype is about. Let's go baby!

I've been going to Funktional Fitness since late 2021 and can say they have been amazing working with me on my strength training and and back issues I've been having. My trainer, Jason, gives me the right mix of knowledge (technique) and push to progress me to get stronger and have the confidence in my back and look better at the same time!

If you are looking to better yourself in mind, spirit, health and most importantly strength.... All ages! I'm now 50! This is the place to be! Offers personal training, small group classes, nutrition.... And more!! I've been a member for a couple years now and am the strongest both mentally and physically that I have ever been. Small class sizes from 1 to no more than 8 people allow you to get individualized training throughout the workout. The owner, Edgar and his coaches make it challenging yet rewarding!! Best personal training/group fitness I’ve ever been to. I’ve tried many different gyms, group fitness classes and personal trainers, and Funktional Fitness is the best I’ve ever experienced. You get the group fitness atmosphere and motivation, which I love, but also the attention of personal training because the groups are small, and the coaches are very attentive.

The group classes are at most 8 people, so it’s never too crowded and there is plenty of equipment to go around. Plus you get inspiration and motivation from the people working out around you.

The owner Edgar designs the workout programs to run for 4-6. So you will be doing the same exact exercises each week until the program changes. This gives you the ability to track your progress and make improvements throughout the program. This is very different compared to other group fitness class I’ve done, which change the workouts each week, and there isn’t as much structure or emphasis on tracking your lifts.

Funktional fitness is great for anyone wanting to improve their physical fitness. It’s great for the beginner and for the advanced lifter. The coaches are very knowledgeable and patient, but they will also challenge you. They have helped me out so much with my form on my lifts and given me cues that have really stuck for me. I’ve only been working out at Funktional for about 4 months but I’ve already seen more progress than I have the last year.

After years of feeling constant, even though I spent month after month at the gym, it was time to break the consistency of not progressing. The team at Funktional Fitness is amazing and incredibly knowledgeable about getting you to your goals and beyond. My wife has also come on board and even though our goals are very different, the team at FF has gone above and beyond to make us feel confident they can help us get there while being adaptive to our individual goals as long as we're willing to do the work.

After having my 2nd baby, I was weak & out of shape and was looking for a personal trainer to ease my body back into working out. I’ve been attending for over 2 months and I have to say I’m extremely happy with my workouts especially with the trainers who are always motivating and pushing you to excel in your workouts.

I can't say enough about Edgar and Funktional Fitness. When COVID hit, I completely fell off. I was not one that had the discipline and motivation to continue working out at home. For me, it takes a village! And that's what Edgar offers at his gym. He provides that sense of community, direction, accountability and support. I've had trainers in the past, but Edgar takes it to the next level. He really cares and checks in with you about your progress, pitfalls and how to best support you in meeting your fitness goals in the gym and out. He definitely goes the extra length in helping you find what is going to work for you, while also holding your feet to the fire, which is exactly what I needed!

This is the perfect gym, whether it’s group training or personal this is a great place if you’re just starting out or have been training for years. I much prefer training here than larger open gyms and you’ll get more personal attention than larger group classes.

Edgar is the absolute best, I drive down from LA just to workout with him. He’s very knowledgeable and passionate about his work and is invested in his clients reaching their fitness goals. He is also the only person I trust when it comes to nutrition/macros and offers training on this too, which is the biggest benefit when working with Edgar.

THIS is the place to work out! Edgar is so knowledgable in all aspects of fitness and training and he will motivate you to your full potential. I have done both personal training and group classes here. The personal training is awesome and he will help you achieve whatever goal you set for yourself. The group classes are limited in the number of people per session and you still get the individual attention to make sure you are doing things correctly. The workouts are different every time and you will never get bored!

So happy we found Edgar at Funktional Fitness! I had not worked out in any way for years; I reached out to Edgar and he was so understanding and welcoming. Within weeks I noticed positive changes. I was so excited about seeing results and enjoyed the group classes so much that I convinced my husband to start going here too!

Edgar is kind and extremely knowledgeable about all things fitness and diet. While I was pregnant, Edgar helped me modify workouts but still keep building my strength and endurance.

There are a lot of classes on the schedule so I can always find a time to attend. Classes are small so that you get personal attention but can also have space to focus. Edgar gently corrects your form to make sure that you’re getting a great workout and learning the techniques. He works hard to make sure the workouts are varied and well-rounded.

There is lots of fun equipment and the place is VERY clean! Everyone who goes here is really nice too!

I’ve been going to Orange Theory Fitnesses for 4 years, although the format and workouts are great, I thought I’d look in better shape than I actually did. I’ve seen faster results with Edgar at Funktional Fitness in the two months I’ve started strength training with him then I did in the four years I’ve worked out at OTF. Weather your goals are to loose weight, gain lean muscle or have admirations to hopefully get in bikini shape to one day compete like me, Edgar will help get you to your goals! Edgar is motivational, honest and helps breakdown each workout and helps you to understand the mussel groups your working. The private trainings are great! The gym and equipment is awesome, be ready to introduce yourself to equipment you’ve either never used or been too afraid of trying like me. Most gyms are only class you participate in the workouts designed as a one size fits all class, there’s no help with diets, activity levels, supplements or the personally designed workouts based on your goals. Edgar’s knowledge basis is informative, reliable and delivers results. Best gym I have ever trained at! I have previously had 4 trainers in the past. The owner, Edgar is the most motivating and knowledgeable trainer ever! He took me from 22 % body fat down to 5%! He has trained me to for a Navy seal event, to climb Mt. Whitney, for a world Jiujitsu tournament and a body building competition. This is the best gym ever!

Edgar has been my personal trainer for last 5+ years. Best thing that has happened to me.
I started with him with an injury (SI Joint). First thing he did was to correct my form on everything (He still does).
I started by hardly lifting 95 lbs deadlifts to a PR of 335 lbs with better form. He pays a lot of attention to your form, so you won't have to deal with any injury.
I've been going to his new gym, Funktional Fitness, since inception and been enjoying the group sessions.

This is a great new facility that I started going to. Edgar, the owner and trainer is very knowledgeable to all aspects of health and training. I am particularly impressed with his dedication to having his clients workout successfully and effectively - rather than just mindlessly going through motions, like trainers you may find big box gyms that typically do not care to invest themselves fully into their clients' success. Little things he does like instilling proper stance during weightlifting really set him apart from others in my opinion. His facility is brand-new with all the necessary equipment for the results you are seeking.
