I've been training with Daniel for 2 years and have seen my shoulder pain disappear, energy dramatically increased, with strength and flexibility greatly improved. Daniel accurately evaluates my ability every session, creating new workouts on a regular basis resulting in improvements in my overall health and strength. He is able to adjust and work around pain and strains, while still continuing to build fitness. He has a keen understanding of the body and uses that to build a personalized program. I feel stronger and healthier than ever, and can’t believe my shoulder pain is gone, and I’m able to do things I couldn’t do 2 years ago. I look forward to every workout!

Before I began working out with Daniel I had assumed that I was in pretty decent shape as I have always been active and athletic, but what looked ok on the outside was just masking what was happening behind the scenes. My glutes and thigh muscles had pretty much deteriorated and I was suffering from chronic lower back pain, which prevented me from participating in the sports that I loved. Daniel assured me that he would help me resolve my back pain, and after a year of weight training, I regained my muscle strength and did indeed resolve my back pain. The process was difficult and slow and I still have a long way to go, but the results were nothing short of a miracle for me. Daniel is focused and dedicated to his clients and their specific needs. If you are thinking about a personal trainer, don’t wait, start now.

I was always active but never incorporated weight training.  Recently every article that I read stressed the importance of weight training.  I could have very easily joined a gym and watched some YouTube videos, but I wanted to learn the correct techniques, and more importantly, I wanted accountability for myself and that is why I decided to go the personal trainer route.  Daniel is a genuine trainer who crafts programs specific to not only your needs but also your ultimate goals.  His keen attention to form makes all the difference in getting the results you desire. It’s been over a year of training with Daniel, and I can honestly say having a personal trainer is the best investment in yourself that you can ever make.  I would recommend him to anyone that wants to better themselves.

5 stars! Daniel created a custom training program for me focused on building strength and endurance, and overall athleticism so that I can continue to play competitive soccer at 40+ years old. I was having issues with strained hamstrings and calf muscles. Daniel’s program helped me recover from and has prevented additional injuries. I feel I am in the best shape of my life now regarding strength, endurance, durability, work capacity, and longevity because of Daniel’s programming and advice. Daniel has been my only trainer for a few years now. I came to him when my back was going out multiple times a year and I heard how great he was at Foundation training. He has an expertise at not just basic training but the physiology of the body as well. Since I have been seeing Daniel my back issues are gone. He also truly cares about his clients on a personal level which helps immensely when he is making programs targeted specifically for your needs. Daniel Loub was a God send during the pandemic. He kept us fit through FaceTime! Crazy times. But, we’ve had both continuity and a customized workout right in our home since we started with him two years ago. He has always been a good listener to our needs and continues to tailor the programs to fit us. He clearly cares about the “whole person” and is sincerely interested in helping us achieve personal goals. I never feel like it’s a chore to work out. I highly recommend him as a personal trainer. He strives to become better in all he does and it shows in the creative programs he’s set up for us. ( He’s very thoughtful finding the exercises that fulfill more than one objective).

I was connected with Daniel through Platinum Fitness when I had moved to Summerland and was looking for a trainer. I’ve been working out with him for close to 2 years now and it has honestly been one of the best parts of my life! Daniel isn’t a trainer who just focuses on weight loss or building muscle (although both of those things have happened since working with him) he really concentrates on how your body feels and functions for daily life. After a knee injury a few years back, I had knee pain almost daily. After about a month with Daniel I haven’t had a single day of knee pain since. He has also helped me work through and figure out causes of neck pain, wrist pain and weird collarbone pain and ways to strengthen and not have those pains anymore. He has also adjusted my workouts during times when I’ve wanted to see physical changes and is very effective with that too. My workouts are one of my favorite times of the week because Daniel is so positive and helpful and I don’t have to check my phone and worry about work—our sessions really help my mental health and mood and I find that adding sessions during stressful times really makes both my body and mind feel stronger! Feeling better physically and mentally is amazing and I cannot recommend Daniel more highly. He is truly so knowledgeable, kind and passionate about his work and it pays off for his clients!

You will be hard-pressed to find a better personal trainer than Daniel Loub. I would leave Daniel 10 stars if I had the option! I came to Daniel with three months to train before I left to hike the Pacific Crest Trail. I’d experienced some hip flexor pain and instability on longer backpacking trips, and I knew that addressing it early could put me in the best position to begin hiking without injury. My disclaimer is that I absolutely HATE doing physical therapy exercises, and knew I wouldn’t stick with them if I didn’t have accountability. Daniel not only provided that accountability, but checked in frequently outside of training hours to see how I was doing and determine what areas could be improved or modified as we worked towards my goal. Daniel made training FUN, which is something I’d never experienced before. His science-based approach clearly demonstrated how much progress I can make when I’m focusing on the right breathing and movement. I very quickly found myself sleeping better and noticing ways that I was growing stronger even outside of my training hikes. Most importantly, I’m embarking on this 5-month physical journey full of confidence in what my body is capable of. I wouldn’t be able to say that without Daniel.

I was diagnosed with an auto immune disease that left me in a wheel chair in 2017. I slowly regained my strength and started training with Daniel when I was on a cane…late 2020. Daniel is super knowledgeable of the human anatomy, breathing techniques and movement. His program is specific to me and my weaknesses and I feel it working as my gait is improving through strength. My goal is to run again and know I’ll get there with Daniels help.

Daniel is a great trainer. If you are at all interested in gaining not just strength, but also a real understanding of your body and how it all fits together, he’s your man.

I’ve been working with Daniel for a little over a year now and have gotten great results as a runner. My knee pain is gone, my heart is stronger than ever, and I can feel my core and my posterior chain working hard to get me up those hills.

Can’t recommend him enough. If you want to get serious about real fitness and not just superficial strength, make the investment.

My experience was great, Daniel trained me for about a month and I saw amazing results. I’m a baseball player at the University Of California Irvine and I saw huge strides in my performance and strength. I use these exercises today to help keep me in the best shape possible for my upcoming season. Daniel is very educated on how Athletes should train, and how to focus on perfect form. I recommend working with Daniel if you want to get stronger for your sport, or to just be in shape for everyday activities. I Recommend training with Daniel if you want to feel great!

I've been working out with Daniel now for about 10 months and he's an excellent trainer. When we started my goals were to get rid of the chronic back pain I had due to a disc problem and injury prevention as I play tennis about 4x a week. I've now been pain free for quite some time, rarely even get the little nagging aches & pains and I even lost about 15 pounds and move much better and more freely.

I have been working with Daniel at Platinum fitness for the last 8 months. We set very specific goals at our first session and have met them all. I continue to work out with Daniel 2-3 times per week because coming into Platinum is a huge stress reliever and I know I am doing something to benefit my long term health, fitness, and improve my tennis game. The hour goes by quickly and I leave energized for the rest of the day. Daniel is very conscientious about proper technique and can give verbal cues to maximize each movement and repetition. Each session, he is prepared with a written work out tailored specifically to me and my fitness goals. The workouts are varied and never repetitive or boring. He knows exactly how hard to push me to maximize my time in the gym.

Daniel is very knowledgeable and is continuously taking classes and bringing that knowledge into our training sessions. At Platinum, we benefit from the outdoor space and can work out in the fresh air, equipment is well maintained and clean.
The only negative is that since working with Daniel I have had to buy all new pants as my old ones are now too big!

Having had personal trainers prior to Daniel, along with Pilates and boot camps, I can honestly say that he surpasses all of my other trainers. Daniel is extremely knowledgeable, always alert to potential injuries and has a personalized routine geared toward current "aches and pains."
