The gym is fine. But there is two issues I have with this gym. Number one the lights that the hexagon light that they have are way to bright. They really need to dim them down, it’s really hard to focus when I’m benching. Another thing is that when adding machine they should have poll like a gym vote, but they never do add machine soooooo yea. And filter the water it’s been red for a long time.

0 customer satisfaction. Tried to cancel membership last year in January they charged some random fee. I called to cancel Regina said can’t cancel on the phone. I had to go to a foreign trip so I was stuck with the membership. They were charging me extra $25 dollars to keep access to a room with mats for Marshall arts but for about half o ethe year it was closed to members for renovations but they still kept charging me for it. In May I tried to lower my membership tier to basic $10 a month and the girl that worked at the front told me she doesn’t have the gym cards for that membership and try later that month. I isn’t get time for it. Then I tried lowering it in August and the manager told me that she already charged me for this month and won’t refund and to come back at the end of the month. Which again she did so can charge me extra again. I went to cancel member ship before the end of the year. She had already charged me a renewal fee and for the following month. I had gone to cancel my older nephews membership and add my younger nephew. The manager said she already charged the renewal fee for the older nephew and can’t refund this months fee. Tired from this bullshit customer service I decided to cancel mine for good now. She didn’t give me any paperwork to confirm cancellations she said her printer is out of ink. I will go to a better customer satisfaction oriented gym.

I like that the gym is 24/7 and they have decent machines for a good price membership. The issues lie with the machines ALWAYS being broken, and them forcing you to go back and forth between rooms to do work outs. I don't understand why they would do a remodel when they should be fixing the machines first. The room they moved machines into is really stuffy and quiet. I also don't understand why they would split up the machines like they did. To do leg day or arms you have to go back and forth between the rooms to use the weights or machines, where before it was all in the same room and right next to each other. Makes no sense to me and is frustrating to be honest.

Great gym! Super affordable for $10/month for the basic plan. Lots of machines and they're in good condition! They also have been upgrading the building as well adding these cool hexagon lights to the ceiling and painting it black. There are also extra rooms where you can do floor exercises or whichever you want with mats. The staff are nice and friendly as well. Definitely recommend joining this gym! :)

This gym is awesome, the staff are friendly, they have a variety of classes for all levels including beginner Yoga. Malia is an excellent teacher who makes the classes fun and easy. They also have martial arts classes which my children love.

Another perk to this gym is it's a very kid friendly environment that allows our whole family come in and work out. It's also genuinely 24 hours that make finding the time to come in highly convenient. Overall great place to go.

Tried a day pass and liked it. It’s getting a little run down but a gym’s a gym! It would be nice if the weights were racked in the right place, some members are irresponsible and leave things in the wrong place and it makes it pretty hard to find them. Otherwise it works. The young woman at the front desk was super nice and very informative about the types of memberships and pricing. Definitely worth it for the price. Couldn’t stand the PF down the street, this place is close in price with more USEFUL machines.

I tried to cancel my membership over the phone and thought it would go flawless as it does with most places. I informed the lay that I wanted to cancel and I wanted a refund for the month I hadn't gone in I mean I thought I cancelled already. She said to me "you need to come in in person" I told her I can't do that due to me moving and can I dispute this over the phone the charges etc. She then became aggressive and states " we have the easiest cancelation process in the whole wide world" and also "I won't refund you just because you didn't use your membership" albeit I thought I had already finished cancelling. She basically promised me that she will bill me indefinitely unless I come in or send a copy of my i.d. I wouldn't normally have an issue with that if it wasn't for the already sketchy behavior on the phone.

I don't normally write reviews, but I feel compelled to for this place. I got a membership in 2019, for 1 month, then cancelled in club with a young woman whose name I no longer remember because this was 3 years ago.

During my time there, machines were always available, but it was often dirty and even the water fountain was not operational. If I didn't bring my own water, I was SOL. I realized there were better gyms in Yuba, so I went to In-Shape.

Fast forward to today, when I notice a $10 charge from Future Fitness. Huh. Weird. Haven't been there in a long time. Upon further inspection, they've been charging me $10 a month, FOR 3 YEARS. I DON'T EVEN LIVE IN CALIFORNIA ANYMORE. So I call and they tell me, well actually sir, you didn't cancel.

I know I did, because I still remember going to the club and doing it in-person with a younger girl who made me wait 10 minutes at the counter.

I realize part of this is my problem, for not realizing I was being charged by a shady gym for 3 years. And I accept that. But any business, especially a gym, willing to A. not notify customers of recurring charges and B. tell them they're SOL after the fact, does not deserve to remain so.

Do yourself a favor and go to In-Shape, N/S Fitness, or hell, even Planet.

We opened an office next to this gym and decided to join. The gym is very nice, saunas in the locker rooms, nice equipment, open floor plan with some dedicated rooms too. The price was very affordable and the owner and staff are genuine and kind. Glad we joined!

After trying out a number of gyms in Yuba City, I opted for Future Fitness because I liked the idea of a smaller gym. However, their sanitary habits are awful and with the current state of the pandemic, they have done very little to insure the health of members. Machines don’t get wiped down, it’s crowded, and nobody keeps a safe distance away from one another. Along with this, I had been trying to contact the manager or owner for weeks by calling almost every day attempting to cancel (because I was uncomfortable going in). After finally getting through to the manager, I was told I will not be refunded despite spending weeks attempting to cancel over the phone. I’m extremely disappointed at the little response I had received as I have been with this gym for several years.

Owner of this place is the most unprofessional person I’ve ever talked to on the phone!! Every month they charge a different amount and I continue to call and they give me the run around. Said they fixed it then happens again. Have to call every month to get it fixed. Cancelling my membership and don’t recommend this gym to anyone for the simple fact the owner is extremely unprofessional and won’t help his members when they need help!! Only reason i give it a three and not a '2' is: 1. Alex has a great attitude and smile, seems genuinely outgoing. And a couple polite, attractive female employees. Otherwise some staff is quite rude and 'ill experienced' to he telling 'paying customers' how they should lift weights ! Get Real ! I've been in the business and LifeStyle since 1993 !!! I really like this gym. It's walking distance from home, it's cheap and while some equipment might be dated it still works. There needs to be wayyyy more spray bottles though. Furthermore, they need to strictly enforce spraying down equipment after use. Today I was there less than an hour and saw 4 people not sanitize their equipment. I don't know how any clean person doesn't think to wipe down their equipment (especially during a pandemic). Please add more spray bottles and enforce strict sanitation standards!

Great gym owner Alex is a good honest businessman. Unfortunately when they removed the daycare in the morning I had to cancel. I had paid for a year in advance and he was quick to refund my money. Other than not having daycare in the morning it was an awesome gym and a great experience. Thank you again Alex looking forward to you guys getting the daycare back in the morning.

My job provided me with a gym membership elsewhere; so I called to cancel my membership 3 months ago, I was told that everything went through over the phone. Yesterday I check my bank account to see that I have still been charged every month. So I call and the employee tells me to come in and management will handle it. I asked if I would be refunded for the last 3 months and she said yes with confidence. I go in today and they tell me there is no way to refund the money to my husband and I even though if they check, they will see that we have not logged in in over 6 months. I did not leave due to a bad experience, and was ready to recommend Future Fitness to many friends; now I feel cheated and will not be coming back. I deserve to be refunded the money that was told to me I would not be charged in the first place, and then was told to me I would be refunded. I was counting on this money.

The size of the gym is huge, and the variety of machines is more than adequate. What I best like is that with such a variety of machines and weights, you can work every muscle of your body. A big plus is that the machines are well spaced out (something that's sorely missing in some of the more "elite" gyms). The membership price is very reasonable. The men's locker room is impeccable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. My only wish is that it were open 24/7.

I used to be a member of this gym back in 2002. I had to quit because I ended up moving. Now I'm in the bay area and go to 24 Hour Fitness in Berkeley. After my dad had surgery on his leg, I came back to assist my mom with his recovery and called Future Fitness about coming in for just a couple days. I don't recall what the girl's name was that assisted me on the phone, but she was really cheerful and let me know what the rate was and wrote my name down so that when I showed up they'd know who I was. Well, I just got back from going there and I must say that it has improved immensely since I was a member 10 years ago. I came in to just work my lower body and abs, but I know for a fact that if I still lived in Yuba City, I'd be a member here. The staff was friendly, the mens' locker room was immaculate, and there were tons of options for your workout. I will come back again whenever I'm in the area!
