Absolutely fantastic experience at Fwrd+! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warmth not only from the welcoming staff but also from the instructors and fellow members. It truly feels like a community here, where there's so much more happening than just exercise classes. I am incredibly grateful to be a part of it!
The classes are exceptional, with a wonderful range of styles. Each instructor brings their unique flair, making every session engaging and fun. I love how the class curriculum delivery is thoughtfully designed to support your individual journey, taking into account not only your strength training progress but also how you're feeling on any given day, helping to motivate you to be your best self.
Finding Fwrd+ came at a pivotal time in my life when I needed a boost in confidence and motivation. The friendly atmosphere coupled with the wonderful classes, inspires me to not just attend classes but to make it a regular part of my routine. Each time I walk out of a class, I feel stronger and better.

I cannnot say enough good things about FWRD fitness. It truly feels like more of a community than a gym, and has become my home away from home. I started attending classes about 6 months ago, without any experience or idea what I was getting myself into. I now find myself there 4 days a week, minimum. Movement and the commitment to show up for myself have become non- negotiable for me. I have seen overall improvements in both my physical and mental health.
I love the variety of classes they offer, and how much diversity in age, body types, and skill levels are present. I always feel challenged in the best way, and leave class feeling capable and strong. HUGE BONUS: They offer childcare (!!!). My daughter loves coming with me, and it’s become part of our weekly routine. No more excuses!

As someone who doesn’t enjoy sports, I am celebrating my 100th class today at FWRD and I wanted to write and share this here because FWRD is a fantastic mix of excellent instructors, a good vibe, soaring and happy muscles each and after every class, a supportive community, and an inspiring boss😍 I’m so grateful to have found this place and to have incorporated sports into my life!

FWRD is hands down the best gym I’ve ever been a part of! I workout here 2-3 times a week, and it has truly become a second home.
One of my favorite things is the childcare offered during most classes. The staff are so sweet and caring, and my 3-year-old genuinely loves going—it makes it so much easier for me to focus on my workout.
The gym offers such a wide variety of classes, and every instructor is amazing. Each one brings their unique style, making every class feel fresh and challenging in the best way. I also appreciate the early morning classes, which fit perfectly into my busy schedule.
What really sets FWRD apart is their commitment to whole-body health and wellness. From breathwork sessions and wellness workshops to delicious healthy food options, they’ve thought of everything. The biannual retreats are an incredible bonus, creating a strong sense of community among members.

Id tried different places for years until I found FWRD+ wellness collective! I’ve been a member for over a year now and I love it. They have childcare so that’s a plus for me! The FWRD instructors keep me motivated and strong during workouts. They treat you like family. I love the wellness side of it and I feel so good after working out.

FWRD doesn't just offer amazing workouts, including interval/cardio classes, heated classes, barre, barre with a little cardio and barre with meditation, it is also offers an incredible community. This group is so inclusive, uplifting and supportive. So grateful to find Stephanie and her barre studio almost 5 years ago.

A place where you can go at your own pace while still challenging yourself. No one is pushing you but you and the group of women working out with you are amazing. My glass is full when I go to the classes and my body is thankful for relief in my lower back which has made me almost resort to surgery. They integrate Pilates and barre with PT work and so even with my herniated disk I can keep up, they provide tons of modifications to make it light or heavy. The instructors walk around and will correct you and give really good instructions to follow, they care. Best place I’ve found to work out group wise in San Diego

When our beloved barre studio closed in January, the task of finding a new place seemed emotionally draining and daunting. Fast "forward" (pun intended) two months and I can happily say I have found my new home at FWRD+. From the moment I walked in to my first class, everyone was so warm and genuinely inviting that I felt instantly at ease. The instructors are knowledgeable and inspiring and the variety of classes leaves you feeling sweaty, challenged, successful and sincerely cared for, all at once. The music is motivating...the atmosphere is encouraging and welcoming....and everyone works hard and supports each other. Whatever the day holds, I know I'll get it off to a good start at FWRD+ and leave feeling better than I did walking in...I'm very grateful!

I have been at FWRD since mid January after being at another barre fitness for over 7 years. I am so impressed with not only the owner and instructors at FWRD but all their clients as well. They truly have an amazing community and from the beginning they have made me feel a big part of it. The workouts are definitely more challenging than at my other studio but I think they're pushing me to be stronger and more flexible. Which I do embrace. I'm so glad I'm part of this awesome studio.

I joined FWRD+ just a couple of months ago, but love the work outs!! I never feel pressured and can go at my own pace! I can really feel my core and pelvis getting stronger and am so excited to be on a journey for overall better health and well-being!! I am ecstatic about my experience with FWRD+ Wellness Collective. I recently joined to become a member and this is now my twice a week therapy. I knew from the first day that this was the place for me. I love the workouts, instructors, staff, and music. I have mostly attended Pilates Sculpt. This is a challenging class but the time goes by really fast. I am still working on some of the moves like burpees and mountain climbers. Whatever your level, you will sweat and have fun.

I’ve now been working out at FWRD+ for four months now. I love it even more as time goes on! I enjoy all of the class formats-there’s great variety and they are so much fun! The instructors all continue to be FABULOUS and so helpful as this is my first time doing barre. My son loves coming to childcare so much that I literally have to drag him out of the studio to go home! And the community is truly amazing. I’ve now been a part of the weekly book club, various events and the Fuel program for healthy eating. There is so much intention and thought that goes into each class/event/program and each has been a wonderful addition to my wellness journey. The classes and the Fuel program have made me so strong and I’m finally back to my pre-baby self. I feel the best I’ve felt in years! I can’t recommend FWRD+ enough-it’s truly the best!

I’ve been attending classes at FWRD regularly for about 6 weeks now and I look forward to every single class! Joining this studio has been the absolute best thing I’ve done for myself since having a baby. The classes are a great workout whether you’re looking for low, moderate or high intensity, and I love how strength-building is incorporated into the movements. The members I’ve talked to are very friendly and many have worked out here for 5-8+ years. Each teacher offers something unique and special to the classes, and all are so knowledgeable and helpful, which is great because I’ve never done this type of workout before. The childcare attendants are sweet and patient with my very attached 15 month-old and the studio manager and owner are both so friendly and welcoming. My favorite part about FWRD is that it is so not focused on weight loss or attaining a certain body shape, but rather how to live in health, self-gratitude and intention. Oh and do yourself a major favor and try the monthly breath work and sound healing sessions! They are phenomenal, like everything else about this studio. I love FWRD and will be here for many years to come!

Usually I go to a gym, a dance class, some group fitness and go “that was cool, but don’t want to do it again.” This is the place that I just keep coming back to… multiple times a week for over three years. Never thought I would be “that person”, but here we are. :)
For anyone worried that they aren’t flexible enough, strong enough, fit enough, coordinated enough, etc, and are worried about getting hurt, let me reassure you: this place can work for you. I have a connective tissue disorder, an autonomic nerve disorder, asthma, and chronic migraines (in short: not a healthy person) and these ladies have helped me find my own version of success with all of the class formats from day one while also making me feel like whatever I can do is enough.
Come to workout. Stay because you feel seen and cared for by all the ladies that make this place magical. You’ll leave sweatier and happier!

FWRD+ is the best workout I have ever done. I do nothing else but the different variations of classes they have to offer. It’s the best combination of cardio and strength work. I have been an athlete my whole life, but as a mom to three young kids, I don’t have time to do sports, but working out is essential in my life! I feel more fit now after three kids than I have when I was in my 20s! I credit it all to FWRD, and to their classes and amazing teachers. In addition to the classes they have childcare as well which I take full advantage of! My daughter loves going there and it allows me to have 45 min of me time to completely focus on myself. The childcare staff are kind and gentle and take the best care of my 1 year old. I would not be able to get an effective workout in if not for FWRD+ and the childcare services. Lastly the community is amazing. All the members who attend are so nice and welcoming. It does not feel intimidating at all. Highly recommend!

This place is a busy moms paradise. I love walking into a positive vibe where everyone supports you and cheers you on through your fitness journey. I particularly enjoy the early 5:30 am class by the owner Stephanie Firenze. The class fills me with the energy I need to get through a busy day. I’ve been a member of this studio since Stephanie opened. The new studio is spacious and beautiful. I feel more relaxed the minute I walk in.
The workouts help me maintain flexibility and strength, while always providing a challenge! The instructors are fantastic and provide a fresh, new workout with each class.
Stephanie and all of the instructors make an effort to get to know each client and truly provide a personal touch. It is wonderful to see all ages of women (and some men) in class. I have been a member at FWRD+ for the last six years and it just keeps getting better. It has truly made me a better, healthier version of myself. I feel stronger in both body and mind but without any aches or pains. I recently broke my wrists, and attending FWRD classes was better than physical therapy. There is also an online option that has been key for me during the summer... but I'd highly recommend visiting the studio because the community is amazing! Thanks FWRD+ for being the best!

I'll start by saying I'm pretty picky when it comes to my workouts. There's a lot I look for when choosing a studio and WOW, does FWRD check all the boxes!
I've been a member here for several years and it honestly keeps blowing me away. The owner, Stephanie, has created a warm and welcoming community of people who not only value fitness, but whole body health. She often partners with local wellness vendors for fun + informative studio events. They even offer plant based food as part of a grab n go partnership. (Perfect for a healthy snack after class!)
Childcare - this is a must for me, and I'm so happy FWRD offers it. The staff is so sweet with my kids and I know they're in good hands while I get some time to myself to recharge.
There's a great mix of knowledgeable instructors and variety of class formats. As a trained dancer/fitness pro myself, I'm amazed at the creativity of choreography in each and every class - I'm never bored! Classes are challenging, but also taught with options to accommodate injury, pregnancy, etc. I love that one day I can take barre for a deep muscle burn, and cardio the next day for an intense sweat...both leaving me sore and high on endorphins!

I love this studio! Not only are the teachers so warm and welcoming but they make you WORK! Rest assured, there’s lots of modifications offered for injuries or just for those like me who are still working on getting stronger. The music is fun, the energy is catching. Everyone I’ve talked to here is so positive, (even at 5:30am!) and I really enjoy the mindfulness bits shared at the end of class. FWRD is way more than my work out. It’s my preventative maintenance for all things life. Everything FWRD offers is an investment towards my a ability to support my life long vitality. It’s also the only workout studio I’ve found that is in alignment with supporting our body’s energy systems and brain functioning. Absolutely love this studio! The instructors have amazing energy which keeps you going when the workout gets tough! Every week there are great mantras to follow both in the gym and in your day to day. All the women who attend class are there to support you along the way and I’ve never felt intimidated or judged. Want to stop going to the D.C. & M.D. for muscle aches and pains? Go to TDM. As long as I do this barre workout a few times a week, it keeps my body, back, ligaments, joints & shoulders healthy and moving. When I miss a few classes, I feel the backache & shoulder aches returning. Stephanie is a great owner-instructor. Super friendly gym environment w/out that ridiculous competative environment that you have to deal with at so many gyms.

I love TDM!!! I've been going to the classes 3-4 times a week for 3 months now and I feel stronger, more toned, and more energetic. Taking these classes also helps me with my posture. I've had a desk job for years and my posture isn't the best because of that. I catch myself thinking about it and correcting it not only when I'm in class but throughout the day. The instructors are extremely nice and caring. They change up the workouts regularly. Every class is different. The energy at this place is great! I look forward to every class I take.

I absolutely love TDM! The instructors are so great - always motivating their clients and helping them achieve their goals. The TDM has been a big part of my life these past two years. I had knee surgery in 2011 and after having no luck with physical therapy, I gave TDM a try and was able to regain the strength I previously had. In addition, I participated in the 30 day challenge prior to my wedding and never felt better on the big day and finally, I'm now 7 months pregnant and have been going 3-4 days a week and feel great!

I bought a month of unlimited classes through an auction with The Parent Connection. I went to about 20 classes, and I noticed such a big difference in my physique from the first to my last class. If I wasn't already a member of a club and playing tennis almost every day, I'd sign up for this work out plan. it made me feel great!
