As a single dad I was looking for something to put my child in that was fun and enjoyable. Despite seeing bad yelp reviews I took my daughter to Genesis and was greated by helpful and happy people. Apparently it is under new management and I've gotta say it's going well.

Absolutely fantastic is an understatement. After moving out of our home state I was very wary of trying to find my daughter a new gymnastic studio. But over the past 4 years I have watched my daughter’s talent soar under the guidance of her coaches. The price is amazing , the staff always has a great attitude and I love watching my daughter do what she loves with a smile on her face. I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

As a father with three daughters, we have been attending classes off and on for 15 years. A wonderful environment to teach your children about the fundamentals, balance and mechanics that go with gymnastics. Incredibly fun way to benefit your child, teach discipline and have fun at the same time.

I've been bringing my daughter here since she was 3 years old. She is now 6 years old. She loves Genesis Gymnastics!
Coach jasmine is the best, she's very friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and attentive.
The manager at the front desk is very helpful. He's always willing to answer any and all questions I have. Anytime I need to move my daughter's class schedule around he's willing to help me out.
This is the perfect place to bring your child to grow their gymnastics skills. Thank you Genesis Gymnastics!

Great place for gymnastics. My daughter did almost 2 years here. It was just time for her to try something new so she's going to move on to ballet or soccer. Definitely recommend Genesis for anybody that wants to get their kids into gymnastics.

My daughter has been coming to Genesis for 7 years. She loves it! The coaches are absolutely amazing. They are helpful and patient when she has her off days. They are always there to encourage the girls! The staff is always helpful and sweet! This gym is like a 2nd home to us!!

Someone is deleting reviews AND whoever is responding is either new or not being honest. Bullying is very serious at this place ! If you look at the reviews and how this organization responds to the comments you will see the truth about them! My daughter was bullied when I brought it up to the older blonde lady who walks with a limp( i think shes the manager ) she never investigated it instead she put my daughter in another class that was lower in skill than the other class ( i know because we had just moved up from this class, but after the bullying we were back! ) ! why should the bullied child get to go to another class but the bullies stay put ? The lady at the desk refused to discipline the other girls and wouldnt even talk to their parents! I was told told that my daughter is the issue my daughter was 5 and in Kindergarten, and shy and just wanted to make friends, the other girls talk about her because she wore under wear under her leotard, made fun of the outfit she was wearing and when I brought it up to the owner she dismissed it . The final straw was when the same lady at the front desk insisted my child wasn’t in two classes a week despite us being in those classes for 2 months , she would hunt me down at my car while I’m doing homework and questioned me on why I’m bringing her twice a week until she finally looked into the file and seen that we did in fact pay for two sessions a week which is literally less than every other place I went to so I’m not sure why they assumed that I couldn’t afford to take my child to their facility for 2 x a week ! If you ask me theyre a fun babysitter , hopefully they got new equipment because I took my mom who has a high allergy to mold and immediately she began feeling sick, I spoke with other parents and realized there is mold under the mats ! you can definitely smell the moisture and mold when it’s hot ( There is NO working AC and last time I was there the One and only toilet available for the children to use was stopped up so we had to tell her when we wanted to use the restroom so that she can pour water in the bowl after us! I am so sorry to say but I do NOT recommend!

My child was bullied and instead of the owner fixing the situation she put my child in a lower class ! She allows bullying and only care about numbers! My child was enrolled in two classes and she swore we only paid for one , she even made me come to the office for her to look on the computer and sure enough we were enrolled in two classes ! The owner thinks she know everything but she doesn’t ! And they don’t do any type of evaluations where the parents will find out

Called a handful of times with no answer. Website shows toddler class Mondays at 5:15 so we show up and there’s middle schoolers practicing. Had to pack my crying son back up. Will not attend and do not recommend

Genesis has been around and maintained a fantastic reputation for over 20 years. I went when I was a kid and now my kids go. We love the atmosphere and appreciate the friendly staff/ experience coaches! Highly recommend

This gym is amazing. The coaches are great. My daughters feel loved and wanted here and it has become our second home to our family. They really care for each kid and it shows. I have had my girls in another gym which was not for my girls. So thankful for Colette and her team of coaches!!!

Kinder kids class is good and the coaches are wonderful! We had a hard time getting our child to move up. They relied more on age than skill. Usually have a hard time getting anyone on the phone so just go in.

As parents we look to the best for our children, these people are a disappointment. I feel horrible that my granddaughter had to go through such horrible experience. Coach Brittany is so rude, and verbally abusive to the children. I only went there a couple of times to watch my granddaughter and was so disappointed. So sad that a coach can talk down to the children who are supposed to look up to her as a mentor and give kids encouragement. Not to mention they get paid very well. After bringing up the issue, the owner decided to dismiss my granddaughter from the program instead of fixing the issue, how unprofessional but what a favor she did us. My granddaughter then expressed how bad she felt when Coach Brittany would speak to her and how she made her feel like “she wasn’t good enough”. Gosh that hurt! No child should feel that way (and they got paid to make her feel horrible) I hear now it’s night and day, coach Brittany is so much nicer, I guess it took sacrificing my granddaughter to make a change. Now the owner has her family and friends writing positive reviews to cover up the bad service they provide. Please speak your children do not let these people demeanor them like they’ve done to my little girl.

I have my kids on team and I love the way the coaches not only encourage the kids but also teach discipline. I as a parent have watched how hard coaching is and my hat is off to all of them. STAY AWAY! It was a very unpleasant experience after taking my granddaughter to her gymnastics class. Very upsetting to see her coach verbally abuse my granddaughter and the other 5 year old girls that attended her class. Every time these 5 year old girls tried to speak or say a word, coach Brittany's response was "I don't care what you have to say" amongst other disrespectful comments towards the children. Coach Brittany was disrespectful, rude and verbally abusive towards her students. These are 5 year olds and they do not need to be treated in this manner. They are there to learn and have fun at this age, NOT TO BE MISTREATED. I have coached several sports for years in the Antelope Valley and never treated the kids in this manner. There is a difference between discipline and abuse. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

We only visited the gym a few times while we were in town but everyone was amazing! They welcomed my daughter and were so kind. All their girls on team were very friendly and welcoming towards her as well. My daughter told me she loved their equipment. She also said all the coaches were so fun and really knew their stuff! If our travels bring us back to the area we will definitely be coming back.

We have been on and off at the gym for some years mostly due to personal events in our family, but it's wonderful to come back after a hiatus and have them remember your child's name. What I like about this gym is that they give constructive criticism and positive encouragement. You will see fist pumps, high fives, good jobs, and excitement when your child accomplishes something. They take their time to ensure your child is ready for the next level, they also correct their techniques immediately if they are doing something wrong. My family has always supported this gym even when we weren't able to attend for a while. They are considerate with schedules and understand that children need a life and set reasonable practice hours for their students, so they can have a life outside of the gym. They also encourage you to seek other coaching methods for your children if they are lacking in one ability or other. Colette is a wonderful business owner and encourages her clients. We also love the coaching staff, they are dedicated and honest. Having a staff that sticks around is a true testament in the business in itself.
