Idk why there are so many negative reviews , a gym is a gym not a luxury spa or place you go for social gatherings . You’re there to workout and go home . I’m there from 4am -6am never had any issues . Bathrooms are always clean and maintained but that could be because i do go early in the mornings to avoid crowds and flocks of sheep . I don’t poop at the gym so I could care less if a toilet is clogged . Poop at home lmao 🤣 all I care about is my workout and I’m gone. Bring your own wipes. I don’t typically write reviews but I have been coming to this gym for years and it saddens me how it’s been declining so quickly since the new management. This used to be an amazing gym and every day it gets worse and worse. First of all they emphasize a fee for not wiping down equipment but yet they don’t keep up with the cleanliness of the gym. The bathrooms are always disgusting, multiple toilets clogged, no hand soap, mirrors dirty, etc. Second of all, the wipes run out and they don’t refill it so you can’t even wipe down the equipment 90% of the time. The TVs don’t even play anything anymore so you have to stare into the abyss. All that plays now is Roku city.. My other issue is theres no staff on site anymore and when there is an employee they’re rude and don’t even acknowledge you. They’re just on their phones and un phased by your presence. I did some research on their other locations and discovered that these are on going issues at their other locations as well. The management is horrible now and they don’t seem to be resolving any issues. The fact that they have their comments off on their social media says a lot. The good thing is we have 3 other gyms to choose from.

Have been charging an account hold fee since a cancelation request, the billing company said they have no records. The only record they have was to freeze the account. They changed billing companies and that one is now also charging.

Really bad customer service and really bad management. They didn’t answer the phone calls most of the time and no one of the employee in the office. Most of the hours. Since transition from Valley Fitness this facility has done nothing but gone downhill. Staff is never seen. Even during staff hours there is no toilet paper in the bathrooms. The bathrooms are atrocious now. There is also never any wipes to wipe down equipment anymore so everything is slowly getting dirtier and dirtier.

I do like the 24/7 access however I feel what we have up with atmosphere and cleanliness is not worth it.

Estoy muy decepcionada con este gym desde que cambió de dueño y nombre, pues falta más atención en el mantenimiento y escasea mucho las toallitas de limpieza y la verdad las maquinas caminadoras están bastante sucias, y chorreadas de sudor y bebidas y ni como limpiar porque no hay ni una sola toallita. Y las maquinas que se descomponen tardan bastante en arreglarlas.

This gym is so filthy, I thought I walked into a haunted house, not a fitness center. The showers have enough mold to start a mushroom farm, and the smell? Somewhere between swamp and sadness. I saw a cockroach doing laps before I even got my warm-up in. If you're into biohazards and broken dreams, this place is a 10/10. Otherwise, run far—preferably to a cleaner gym.

Since the takeover from Valley Fitness, this gym has gone downhill fast. I really miss the old atmosphere with the friendly greetings, familiar staff faces, and welcoming vibe. It used to feel like a community. Now, the staff NEVER acknowledge members, they are always sitting on their phones, and the sense of connection is completely gone.
Cleanliness has become a serious issue. The facility is often dirty, and I rarely, if ever, see staff cleaning or maintaining the equipment and space. It’s disappointing, especially considering the standards Valley Fitness used to uphold.

This gym has completely gone downhill since the ownership changed. The new owner is not only rude and unprofessional but has shown clear racist behavior toward members and former staff. It’s no surprise they fired the entire team probably because no decent person would work under those conditions.

The place is filthy now. Equipment is never cleaned, trash is left around, and the whole gym reeks like mildew and sweat 24/7. It used to be a place I looked forward to coming to, but now it just feels gross and neglected.

On top of all that, they lie about their pricing. I signed up with a “locked rate,” but then they sneakily increased the fees claiming “inflation” with no notice or proper explanation. Total bait and switch.

If you care about cleanliness, fairness, and basic human decency go somewhere else.

Since the transition from Valley Fitness to GetFit24/7, the gym has struggled with its upkeep. While the 24/7 access with a key fog and a solid range of weight and cardio machines are nice perks, cleanliness is a major problem.

The bathrooms and lockers are often filthy it’s hard to ignore - there’s frequently no toilet paper, and the toilets are disgustingly dirty. The cardio and weight machines are regularly dirty and the gym floor is poorly maintained. To top it off, the wipes to clean machines are often missing, leaving the equipment dirty with sweat. If you’re looking for a clean and well-maintained gym, you might be disappointed.

Although the 24/7 access, dry sauna, cardio and weight machines are good perks, the overall experience is terrible by the lack of attention to cleanliness and maintenance.

I recently returned to Valley Fitness in Los Banos after six months postpartum, and I couldn't be more thrilled with my experience! The facility has undergone some fantastic renovations, including a completely redone room filled with brand new equipment, especially tailored for leg workouts. It’s clear that they’ve invested in creating an environment that caters to all fitness needs.

The ambiance is wonderful; I love the new gray walls, which give the place a modern and fresh feel. It feels like a completely different gym since my last visit! The atmosphere is motivating and uplifting, making every workout enjoyable.

I wholeheartedly recommend Valley Fitness to anyone looking for a great place to get fit. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just starting your fitness journey, this gym has something for everyone. I'm excited to keep coming back and see the progress I can make.

Started with valley fitness a while back and they were doing great. However, as time as gone by, the price has increased without notice. It started at $29 a month to now $34 a month. Got no notification that there was a price increase. Equipment was either breaking down or questionable. One of the toilets were constantly out of order. What's worse is that I had auto renew off, and they still charged me. Keep in mind that this was today. I'm planning on canceling my membership, but the fact that they charge you a cancelation fee to your membership is insane. If you are looking for a gym to go to, I would not recommend this place.

If i could give this establishment 0 stars this would be the time. The gym staff is rarely available at the front desk and often uncommunicative when they are. The gym Equipment is either out of service or on the verge. The hidden fees built in to the membership was shocking, I often found extra charges from price increases without being notified and hidden fees within the membership package. Really good place, love the environment, the community is positive. Would recommend for everyone. Although, I would wish they would have more machines like the chest fly machine where you’re laying down (different one from the one they already have), the hax squat machine because there’s only the v-squat (one that this gym has), and T-bar rowing machine since there is no T-bar machine so we need to improvise by using a bar and an attachment in the corner for a makeshift t-bar rowing area. Again, I love the place and the staff, everyone is amazing, the gym is amazing, and would recommend to go here.

Gym experience is average. Just like with any gym there are broken machines. People are friendly there. But sometimes valley fitness tries to do work while people are working out with noisy equipment, example; putting in lights with a lift and every single time that they move the equipment, it makes a very loud distracting beeping noise which makes it difficult to concentrate. They do play music there on loud speakers, but it's so quiet that you don't notice the music.

The town can really use more selection on gyms. Especially one that can provide care for children for the moms that want to workout! I never missed or appreciated my old gym as much as I do now. Really devating if I should drive 1.5hrs for it and I might have too.

Equipment is okay. You have to wipe down after it has been used with a rag that everyone uses doesn't seem very sanitary to me since your wiping it with everyone's sweat on it. Bathrooms can use some TLC but like I said when you have no where else to go your stuck going somewhere that wouldn't be your 1st choice.

The old gym's I was a member off provided you training and health information free...no additional cost for 3days and if you wanted further services then you would pay extra. Here that isn't even an option you have to pay more since day 1. For a town that is hot as he'll I would imagine a gym having a pool?? The place is big enough yet....nothing.

Overall just an OKAY gym but not worth the new price that's its charging when I'm basically just going for the use of the machines.

I called to cancel my subscription in 01/2021 because I moved away. In June I found out I was still being charged I called and asked for a reimbursement. They told me I had to wait 90 days. Which I did only to find out in August I was still being charged for my membership. I was only reimbursed $80 of the $120. I figured they need it more than I do and I’m not gonna sit here and fight for $40 but they should be more considerate of the fact that we are going through tough times and when someone cancels a membership it should be canceled not keep charging 8 months into the year.Jeremy always seemed to not want to deal with me which is fine but I at least need someone j can speak to in regards to this. I kept getting the run around. Do want to point out this is when it was called Fit Republic not sure if it makes a difference.

Edit: they did reach out. Check was to wrong address after I reach out to fit republic staff regarding my address change which was my original reason for canceling membership to begin with. Despite having sent my bank statements they still tell me that it’s not their problem because my name is signed on the check as if they can’t forge my signature.🙄
Anyways, my one star remains especially after their way handling the situation.
At least after taking my money without my consent give me some decent customer service.

Update: Forgot to mention while I was there they were constantly wiping down the machines and even had cleaning supplies for us to wipe down our own machine.

My first time ever in a gym in my life and they were so nice and encouraging. They took the time to show me how to use the equipment. Concerning how the gym operates with all the covid rules...cleaner than most people homes for sure...staff constantly is cleaning and still friendly as before...Now the gym has a huge open floor plan besides the locker rooms 2 back rooms( 1 for cross fit and 1on1s. The other classes and when no classes are using it you can do yoga/warm ups) the gym does have 2 hydro beds for muscle relaxation and a tanning room in side by entrance but are prob closed due to the rona. The equipment the gym has is good and it is kept that way and is clean. Good gym should try it..

Guys I changed gym! I now go to Fit Republic and I love it. I actually am motivated to be there more often due to the equipment and staff. I did like the other gym but not as much as this one. I was excited to join this gym but I left really disappointed. If you’re looking for a cheap place to work out just know you’ll get a cheap gym. Half of the cardio machines are out of order and if they do work they’ll squeal. They have an exclusive room with workout classes but you can only use it for $40- $50 a month. They have a huge room next door with nothing in it (you can’t even take weights/bars in there. There’s literally just mats and small weights in there). Also, the weights and mats are worn out. I highly recommend to drive yourself down to In Shape and pay an extra 10 dollars a month for a decent gym. This was arguably the worst gym I’ve ever been too, they need to reinvest those startup fees into making this gym better.

Honestly, I dont know where to start.. Anyways my girlfriend, My friend and I decided to get a gym membership so we went in and signed up for one every time we would attend they would laugh and make jokes about us so we started getting annoyed and decided to quit the gym after 3 days of attending. Once we found out that you get your $ ( refund ) back if you cancelled within the 5 days after you joined we started getting worried because we found out from some one we knew that had the same experience as us they didnt inform us or nothing so we called and asked for it and they said they will contact us and make a claim we called about 12 times now and continue hearing the same We will contact you in a couple days, I asked for corporates number they refuse to hand it over I call and speak to the manager they ask for my name and number and then say “ shes off,i dont know what shes doing, I cant find her, Oh shes outside” its the same excuses each time. its been about 4-5 months now still have no money back, No answer or call from them... I will be going in and discussing this with the manager But i just wanted to share our experience

If you know how to workout this place will be great
The gym rush is from 5pm-7pm.

My wife and a few other people got the lights turned off on them and they still had 10 min until the gym closed. My wife along with other people asked the closer some" young guy" if he could leave the lights on till 7pm. He said" No i will turn them back on after I'm done cleaning the gym". Gym is small but if you plan your workout and don't go during peak hours there is no problem. People are friendly and so are staff. Don't really see all the negatives that I read about but just as in life you can't please everyone.

Good location. Wi-Fi needs to be adjusted. Only one water fountain. Restrooms are clean however there is a flood in the restrooms maybe once a week or every two weeks.

Worst customer service and experience of my life with a gym. They lure you in with their "10-15" dollars a month. IT'S NOT! They actually lied to my wife and told her we would be paying less than inshape, where we paid 70 for the both of us. My wife told them when they were signing her up that we didn't want to pay more. The sales guy assured her we wouldn't. Well...that was a complete lie! We ended up paying more and they kept charging all kinds of charges. We have over 300 charges in a matter of 3 months!!! To top it off, they don't tell you that each account is separate. We went into cancel the account and I cancelled mine, well, my wife was charged this month again! They said each account is individual. We thought we cancelled both. Went in and explained that we were under the understanding they were together because every gym does that and we wanted our money back. Well....they don't care. No care at all. Stay with inshape. May cost more but they're honest and upfront and have better customer service.

Brand new gym with a couple bumps. But they work through them. New equipment. Multiple racks, benches nice dumbbell rack. Double cable systems side by side. Much hammer strength. One problem is there is not enough weight to supply heavy lifters. They kept the bumpers on the HS so weights bounce off HS at capacity and lessens total space available on bar for plates.

There is no contract you pay as you go, there is a Thirty day cancel notice meaning you need to give them thirty days before you're next bill due that way they don't charge you, staff is very helpful and bilingual, again there is no contract and the memberships are really cheap I pay 15 dollars a month the basic is at 10, then there is another membership but that for a personal trainer. Signup fee varies on what plan you get and yearly fee is 40 dollars.

They will sucker you with a contract that binds you to all of these rules, yet they don't have anything to offer you as a member. They have the rudest staff, that does not value you as a customer. They say one thing, then do another. Their customer service line will never answer or return your call, so don't waste your time. Lastly, save your money, go get a membership at in shape, you will pay the same, yet recieve more as a member.

Today, Monday, 08-08-2016, in the morning, I went, to the gym, at 6:15, A.M., and the gym was closed without any sign, to say the members the razon, why was closed. It bader me because I'm paying for that, and I can't used today.
