I've been a member here a couple different times and I've never had a negative experience. Everything is clean and equipment in good shape. Atmosphere isn't at all intimidating though I have always gone when it's less busy. I love that I can work on my fitness goals while also supporting local that gives back to the community on top of that. No other gym in the area compares

I just quit going here after being a member for 3 years. Frank Davis has been working out the last few weeks after having tested positive for covid. He knew and did not quarantine. His wife erin hruby is extremely sick too

This is a great gym! Never that crowded- granted I don't workout at 5/after work. Staff is friendly and it's CLEAN! I watch them vacuuming and spot cleaning Everytime I'm there. Good selection of machines and cardio equipment- love the free racks for weightlifting too

Beware of this company. They seem to forget to mention at times that you have to email to cancel your memberships (conflicting with California law which says you don't). Then will try to keep the extra money charged and tell you its your fault. So with equipment that sucks better off going someplace else.

Decent price for a local gym. Nice open area for squats, cleans, deadlifts, battle ropes, etc. Peak hours it can get packed, so go early or late! Only complaint is that they don't stock shampoo or bodywash in the shower so you must BYO.

The membership price is reasonable, and they offer a ton of different classes throughout the day. I've never had a problem getting a cardio machine or working through the weight-lifting equipment. However, the hours are somewhat limited Friday through Sunday.

I can't say enough good things about this club. As a former health club sales associate myself, I was very impressed. As a current always disappointed member of L.A. fitness in Ventura, I was extra very impressed. I was visiting friends in Atascadero for two weeks and they generously provided me a free two week! pass knowing there was no chance of me buying a membership at the end of it. No problem. They gym was spotless, equipment all working perfectly (take a lesson, L.A. Fitness!) and the staff were all sweethearts. They even put on the Food Network for me every time I came in. The other members were super nice and friendly & no shortage of eye candy for the ladies...😉😍(Or the guys). Plus they have super cute inexpensive logo tanks. I bought two & got many compliments on them. Thanks for everything, Give Fitness! I'll see you next time I'm in town.

This company refuses to follow the home solicitation act which states gyms are required to allow a consumer to cancel their membership so long as theyve moved 25 miles away and have no service away, and done so in writing. They continue to attempt to charge me after I requested to cancel. I've moved 3 hours from their nearest location and they are complete scam arrists.

Went in the afternoon on a weekend to check out the place. Not very crowded at all. We waited at the front desk for about 10 minutes before an employee came out. He apologized and was nice though. We asked him to show us around. It's essentially one big studio space, not much to it. Looked clean and at that time there were plenty of machines. He did say that it gets really crowded early in the morning and around 5pm, which makes sense since people would want to go before and after work. They offer a bunch of classes and have schedules available online and in store. Before we left he even offered us 4 day guest passes to try out the gym, which was nice. He went through their membership plans, pretty straight forward, and answered our questions about discounts and promotions.

Best gym in Atascadero. Excellent staff, great pricing, great equipment. This gym keeps cleanliness a high priority which is huge. You'll see them throughout the day vacuuming or mopping the floors and they work around you. They have a great functional training area and more than one squat rack (yoooooo). Their class room is beautiful and they offer great classes to anyone who might be interested in that. I highly recommend them, it's well worth the (affordable) price.

Give Fitness is a fantastic gym and a wonderful place to accomplish your health and fitness goals! The Give Fitness staff is welcoming and competent, the facility is kept exceptionally clean, and you can't beat their prices (plus they give a large portion of their proceeds to local causes, which just makes you feel great all around)! I especially love the welcoming atmosphere and positive, respectful, and upbeat members! As a past member at two other Atascadero gyms, I can confidently say that Give Fitness is the best overall health club on the Central Coast!

If you're like me, all you need is a clean, organized place to lift weights and do some cardio. Give Fitness has all that, plus some classes for yoga, etc for people who want to do that kind of thing. Prices are low, hours are good enough for most people but if you work a swing shift you're not going to be able to go after work.

What gym works for you depends on what you need, but I'd give this one four stars. I love their business plan (its made to give back to the community, hence the name) and I'd say my only concern at this point is that so many people will sign up there will be a lack of room for everyone. Hopefully if that happens they have a plan for expansion.
