Gold Country Gymnastics in Grass Valley, CA, has been a game-changer for my 4-year-old neurodivergent son. When we nearly gave up due to his challenges with transitioning and self-regulating emotions, the staff provided incredible patience, support for his love of dinosaurs, and animals to keep him moving. They helped him build confidence and find fun in gymnastics. Now, he eagerly looks forward to his classes every week and is thriving! He also attends their 🌙Parents Night Out monthly and always has a blast. The team’s understanding and dedication make this place exceptional. Highly recommended for any family, especially those with kids needing extra support. 🤸‍♂️🧩❤️

Neurodivergent children NOT supported here - even high functioning ones. Expect that the coach is going to yell at your kids like they are adult basketball players, the transitions will be suddenly and poorly communicated, they will feel entitled to advise you on your child’s diet / whether they need a fidget toy or whatever solution they think will magically solve developmental brain disorders (yes someone who works at a gym for a living) and when they kick your kid out they will NOT give you a full refund no instead you will get a credit then you have to continually come back to see these people. On the spectrum? Best not attend any of their gyms camps instead go to the one in Auburn.

My daughter has been going to this gym weekly for 6 years. She absolutely loves it. We take classes and sometimes still go to open gym where she can just run around and do her own thing. The place is super organized, clean, and staff are always friendly. I feel lucky that our small community has such a wonderful gym for our children!

A gem in our community! Caring and dedicated coaches who genuinely want your kids to learn and improve. My child's ability to watch, listen, and follow directions is improving each week. The theme changes each month so new equipment, exercises, music, and obstacles are creatively implemented. If you hear (or read) of anyone complaining about catching colds here just remember gymnastics doesn't have a sneezy runny nose...your kid does! I see this more of a comment on parent choice to share germs instead of stay home. The owner and staff go above and beyond to make Gold Country Gymnastics an elite training zone for our kids. We're happy to be part of this amazing group 👍👍

Came for open gym 12-1:30 and my 3 year old and one year old had so much fun! We didn’t know that my daughter isn’t allowed to wear a dress and she was pretty sad about it but they provided a leotard she could borrow and we’re super friendly when we were helping convice her to put it on. So grateful for their kind costumer service and patience!

I have been bringing my daughter to the gym for a few weeks now, and every time I have had a fabulous experience. As a former coach and judge, I have seen many many gyms throughout the years and Gold Country Gymnastics is up there with some of the cleanest and well organized gyms I have seen! The staff I have interacted with have been friendly and helpful, and most importantly, my daughter could not be happier!!!!

Very busy during summer. Still a great place to let kiddos be active during open gym. My 4-¹/2 yr old loves it!
Big kids need to walk, not run, especially when on the little kids side of the gym.

This is one of the worst gyms i have ever seen, never go here!!! They are always having outbreaks in lice!!

My daughter just started going here, and it's been a really good experience so far! They start in beginning classes and learn cartwheels, walking on balance bars, and other things. The staff is nice, and seems like they switch up the excercises to keep things interesting. It doesn't seem small to me at all.

My son and daughter both have taken classes with Gold Country Gymnastics for a few years now. The teachers and staff have been wonderful and my kids have grown and learned a lot from the program. We have also participated in summer camps, open gym, parents night out, and had my son's birthday party there. All of these were excellent experiences! This gym has been a wonderful addition to my children's education and confidence. They maintain a great level of safety which is important to me. I would highly recommend!
