i’ve been seeing Lolly for reiki / somatic sessions at the south pasadena location and the results are incredible. i appreciate her mindful approach, attention to detail and deep knowledge of anatomy. she notices irregularities in my movements and takes time working with me, finding the best ways to improve problems i’ve been feeling for years. i enjoy the slower pace of these exercises and the deep focus on problem areas in my body, particularly my hips, knees, and ankle joints. her plan is custom tailored to my needs and she has been kind and accommodating to my busy work & family schedule. i highly recommend her, especially if you are searching for alternative methods of rehab and healing.

I love working with Lolly from Gold Line!

I recently moved to East LA from Brooklyn and was recommended to Gold Line through a trusted friend who has been going there for years. After the first session with Lolly, I knew this was going to be a good fit and have been doing private sessions with her every week for the past 9 months.

I have done Pilates off and on my entire life, and what has set this experience apart is that Lolly approaches Pilates holistically. I've taken Reiki and Somatic Healing sessions with her as well, and it has made a huge difference for me. It has improved my posture, helped me to understand where I hold stress in my body and how to manage it, and how to focus on certain muscles to avoid injury.

Through a regular routine of working with Lolly on the reformer, I've seen a big difference in my body in terms of strength and tone, and I can tell my tennis game has improved because I'm more mindful of my breathing and technique.

As an added bonus, both locations are great---the Pasadena location is next to Whole Foods, and the South Pas location is across the street from Bristol Farms.
Super convenient for healthy eating!

I love Gold Line Pilates!!! My favorites teacher are Jennifer, Lolly in South Pas, and Geri at the other location, their classes are hard in a good way, they are really attentive and correct us when we aren't in a correct position. I sign up in January and I am seeing the result on my body and I love it ;)

I love everything about this Pilates studio. I’m very new to the world of Pilates and I appreciate how intimate the classes are. Ana, a private instructor really provided me with the right foundation and confidence to begin group classes. Group classes can be intimidating but thanks to Ana’s encouragement, my Pilates journey flourished. All teachers are amazing and vary in how they instruct. Lolly’s classes happen to be super meditative and mindful. I appreciate her integration of a somatic relaxing yet physically strengthening practice all in one! She also emphasizes teaching us about our anatomy which I also find to her super helpful!

As a dancer who started later in life, I am really appreciative of Lolly's instructions in her dance classes and especially her individualized pilates sessions. They have a somatic approach that promotes independence from them, with the end goal of having you in tune with your own body. To have Lolly's skillset and experience with dance, movement, combined with a non-judgmental mindset all in one is invaluable, and I can see myself coming back for more regular sessions so I can listen to my body better.

This is my favorite studio in the Pasadena area! I love the instructors, especially Jenifer and Lolly. Lolly’s mindful flow class always leaves me feeling taller and centered in my body. I feel better mentally, emotionally and physically. I’ve been taking reformer Pilates classes for years and with these instructors I finally feel like I’m engaging the right muscles and building strength and flexibility in a way I never have before.

Gold Line South Pasadena was my introduction to Pilates and I’m so grateful for the experience and wisdom offered in this space! I feel a whole new appreciation for my body and am so glad I found a work out that really makes me feel good. If you want to take it easier, level 1 is great, challenging but mindful and restorative and if you need to turn up the intensity level 2 is excellent. All the instructors are very attentive, informative and all around lovely people. Highly recommend for any level of Pilates experience!

As someone who is very interested in exploring various healing modalities, I was thrilled to try Lolly’s Mindful Flow class which blends the core principles of Pilates with somatic awareness and breathwork techniques. I really appreciated Lolly’s attention to detail throughout class and I admire her innate ability to approach teaching from both a technical and conceptual viewpoint. I feel more grounded, balanced in my body and connected to a deeper awareness of self. I highly recommend experiencing this class!

From my initial correspondence with Melissa (the owner), I knew that I had found the perfect studio to learn Pilates. Melissa helped to match me with instructors that would be the best fit in philosophy and personality. I have had the great privilege of working with Lolly since the end of September. Through Lolly’s incorporation of somatic and mindfulness techniques, I have grown in my awareness of what is happening in my body (interoception) in order to better understand and address its needs. Lolly’s use of visuals of the skeletal and muscular systems have helped me to conceptualize and move my body in greater alignment both in and out of the studio. I cannot even adequately convey how Lolly’s sessions have helped me find physical, mental, and emotional healing. I deeply appreciate the way Lolly views and cares for me as a whole person.

Great studio. Classes are fun and challenging. Melissa gives personal adjustments. She always gives me good cues that really changed how I do Pilates. They also have gyrotonic, which is so good on my back. Definitely a great local studio.

When covid hit and the studios shutdown, I stopped doing my regular pilates class or any group class for that matter. Although I had been working out on my own, 4 years without a pilates reformer class had taken its toll on my body. I started searching for places near my house and I discovered Gold Line. They had just opened a 2nd location near my house so how bad could it be? That was November of 2023 when I signed up for 1 private to see if I would like it and better question, could I do it? If I liked it, my plan was to start slowly into the habit with one weekly private and then eventually start the small group classes until I was back in full swing. I showed up for my private with Jen and left like a new person. Jen was so well trained and experienced, I couldn't believe I had stubbled upon this person and this studio. She moved me through the exercises at a steady yet manageable pace, helping me with form and breathing. What I liked the most was that I felt comfortable at the studio and Jen knew exactly what I needed after my 4 year hiatus. She was very professional and serious but kind and positive. I started signing up weekly from that day. Now it is almost May and I've added group classes to my week. I recommend Lolly's Mindful Flow class which is a meditative masterpiece and the perfect Sunday class...or for anyday of the week. I think Lolly might be sometype of a healer but that is just a hunch. I've also taken one group class with Kat and she was great too. The studio is a comfortable size, it's very clean and functional, great equipment and not lined with mirrors. It's tucked in the corner of a strip mall so you wouldn't know it was there if you weren't looking for it. Easy parking. Online scheduling is super easy. You sign up and pay online, get email reminders and even an email before the 24hrs prior to class...so you don't forget to cancel if you need to. Great instructors, easy location and nice, clean studio..Thank you for being so great. I am hooked.

My experience at Gold Line Pilates South Pasadena has been nothing short of fantastic. Both Lolly and Alaina are incredibly attentive instructors who make every class welcoming and beginner-friendly. The studio itself is always clean and has a delightful scent that adds to the calming atmosphere. What truly stood out to me was Alaina's keen observation of my form, which led to personalized modifications, ensuring I got the most out of each movement. Additionally, Lolly's introduction of the jumpboard was both exhilarating and accessible, making for an enjoyable workout. I highly recommend Gold Line Pilates South Pasadena to anyone seeking a supportive environment and expert guidance on their fitness journey.

Group pilates is hard to get right. Especially in LA. Especially now pilates is having a moment. Lots of poorly run expensive studios and checked out instructors. So THANK YOU Goldline Pilates for getting it absolutely right. Reasonably sized classes. Real care taken and great teachers (so privates are worth taking here as well). And thank you also Leah for being the best instructor I’ve ever worked with. She’s patient, attentive and gets you results. And I love her playlists :)

This Studio is super amazing. Conveniently located to get from downtown. The one-on-ones was a particular highlight for me. I was working with Jillian and she turned me out. I was a client before I moved to Europe. Highlights being small class size, plenty of individual attention, experienced instructors with excellent certifications, approachability (pilates can be so intimidating at first), and it's a small local business.

I was ecstatic when I found a 5 AM Pilates class! Adriana was welcoming and kind. Even though there were other people in the class, she made the class feel like it was a private session. I didn't think she was paying attention to anything I was doing, but to my surprise, she came over my way a few times when she noticed I needed help. At the end of class, she answered all my questions and concerns, and now I am looking forward to add private sessions with Adriana on top of taking group classes.

I recommend Gold Line. It's a boutique style studio with 6 reformers, which in my book is an A++.

Her expertise as a Pilates instructor has been extremely beneficial for my Pilates practice; she’s supported and navigated injuries with skill, ease and compassion.
