This is my daughter’s first year participating in mid-season cheer with GEA and she has had such a fun and positive experience. This gym is truly going places! My daughter built a solid foundation with three years of sideline cheer before joining GEA, and her growth has been remarkable. In just her first season with the GEA mid-season program, she’s developed so many new skills, achieving more in these three short months than in the three years of sideline cheer combined. Needless to say, she's hooked and plans to try out for the full season. I deeply appreciate the gym’s focus on faith and the team’s prayer time. The owners are welcoming, engaged, and always approachable, and I love the strong sense of community they’ve cultivated—it truly feels like a village. We’re excited for the years to come. My daughter practically lives at the gym and considers it her home away from home.

What was a 1 time tumbling class turned into 3 seasons of cheer. The amount of love owner Yvonne gives each kiddo that walks through the door feels more like a family than it ever has a business. This gym has several coaches that are all-star legends, helping the next generation become their best selves. I wouldn't take my cheerleader anywhere other than GEA and Just Tumble.

GEA is hands down the best cheer gym! They have phenomenal coaches and foster a healthy, SAFE learning environment. My daughter liked cheer when she started and after the first practice loved cheer! Cheer is her passion and I couldn't trust GEA more with not only fostering and growing that passion but doing so safely! Her skills and confidence have grown so much with GEA! We love GEA and plan on being part of their family as long as they will have us! They also offer classes and private lessons. I highly recommend them as well! I usually don't do any reviews positive or negative but with GEA being a small gym and not part of a big chain I want to make sure they get credit or credit is due! You can trust them with your children!

This gym is seriously the best. My oldest was a competitive gymnast for years then decided to try something new and we found this gym. We were welcomed with open arms the owners are truly the most amazing people and really make it feel like family. This will be my youngest's 2nd year cheering for GEA she started here when she was 3 and she truly loves it. Coaches are all amazing and really help the kids excel. And the punch card system for classes cant be beat!

Golden Elite and Just Tumble has brought so much joy to our family. Our son became a cheerleader right before our eyes at Just Tumble in a very short time. Yvonne and Rich were always on the sidelines cheering him on! He went from absolutely no tumbling to level 5 tumbling in just over a month! Every day, they told him how amazing he was and how profound it was that he was moving so quickly. They gave him the self-confidence that he needed to succeed in a very competitive sport. Our daughter also found much comfort in Golden Elite and Just Tumble during a very difficult time in her cheer career. She is a 3X NCA Champion and has had the privilege of winning Summit, but she fiercely upholds that her time at Golden Elite has by far been the most memorable and amazing window in her competitive cheer life. She recently told me “ it’s not always about winning, it’s about the feeling that you have when you step out onto the floor with your team “. I am so grateful for the fateful day that we stepped into the lives of Yvonne and Rich Howerton. Although our family has since moved out of California, Golden Elite and Rich and Yvonne hold a very dear place in our heart. I fully believe that it’s because of them that so many kids, even kids that don’t cheer for their program, love competitive cheer! Anybody that can have something negative to say about these two people or their program truly has not taken the time to get to know them. Although Golden Elite is a relatively new gym, it’s moving at lightning speed, and crashing through barriers every season! Where they are located, they compete with some of the hardest competition in the country, that has been around for a very long time. What they are doing with that program, is unprecedented! They are very professional, and they take each one of their athletes as one of their own. To this very day, my daughter wants me to send her routine to Yvonne to look at.. to scrutinize... because she knows to the bottom of her heart, that Yvonne wants her and every other athlete to succeed. People like Yvonne are rare in existence. Anybody that has the opportunity to come in contact with her or her program should consider it a blessing.

Having a child passionate about AllStar cheer can be very difficult for a family. There are signicant time and financial commitments that come with this sport but as a parent we have a choice in if we want our child to be able to be an AllStar athlete or not.

GEA is as upfront and honest about this commitment at the beginning of every season by providing a full year’s comp schedule prior to any contracts being signed. The family can then decide if they are willing to commit the entire family’s time to that contract.

It is not fair for a cheerfamily to bash the entire gym and program because they don’t want to spend their time at competitions. Our family uses these events as “family time” and we make sure to have the best time exploring new cities when we travel for competitions.

The coaches and owners are very professional and only want the best for their teams. They ensure that they are not only prepared for comps but they are doing their best at practices to put their best foot forward by learning from each competition what needs to be better.

It takes hard work, dedication and a team mentality to be a top notch AllStar cheer athlete. My child wants to be that type of athlete and welcomes any athlete out there that also wants to be at that level. All others need not apply to this gym as you are only letting the rest of the team down.
