I like this gym and use it 5 times a week. My issue is, they recently went through a 6 month long renovation. Repainted the walls for probably the 4th time in 3 years and added yet another pattern of flooring. But with all the “fancy” new improvements, they absolutely refuse to put in air conditioning, in a city that has summers consistently over 90° for months, making the inside of the gym at least that hot. I’ve personally been in here at night & the posted thermostat has shown as high as 93° INDOORS. They have been saying for over 5 years, AC is coming, but it never does. I wish the owners would understand that we do not care about having 15 fake trees set up in a custom made wood planter boxes as they haphazardly sit in front of the treadmills. We want air conditioning. It affects health. It affects performance. It’s actually likely a code violation for unsafe environments if we really look into it. I’m sure this review won’t do anything or they will say the AC is coming, when it never will. But that’s what we are asking for… and WIFI that works more than 10% of the time.

PLEASE IMPROVE THE WIFI! This would’ve been a 5-Star Review, if the wifi weren’t a 1 out of 5. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and professional. The gym itself is in great shape, as well. The only improvements would be in better wifi, more work out mats, and more parking accommodations.

I recently paid for a week's membership to try out the gym. I enjoyed my time and decided to turn the week into a monthly membership. I spoke to the front desk and they mentioned it was possible but the front desk attendant was unable to do it since only the manager was able to do that. I just got off the phone with Sandra and since they had already charged me the monthly fee she now states they can no longer apply the weekly pass to my monthly statement. The staff is not helpful and the manager is incompetent.

Small and very cramped gym. The pricing is very high for how little value you get from it. The amount of equipment is small compared to other gyms that cost half as much as Gold's. I would recommend spending your money at another, cheaper gym.

I have had a membership here for about a year and a half and have been on and off and then stopped going for a while and finally decided it was time to go back And i hadn’t gone in a while so when i scanned it it shows them when the last i went was which a while ago and as i was walking away i heard the guy at the front laughing and saying “actually welcome back” and i just kept walking to do my workout and when i was walking out they said “have a goodnight see you next year”

I didn't really want to take it personally I try to let things go but it is really hard for some people to get up and go to the gym and then showing up and hearing comments like that from staff at the gym really kills that motivation you had to start going to the gym again, i even went at night i was there Monday October 17 i went around 9:45pm so that there would be less people but hearing that from the employees there just made me sad and made me feel bad for going I am most definitely canceling my membership and going elsewhere but it does make me sad because I know other people go there and i really hope they don't get that same experience, you never know what someone is going through.

Please take your money elsewhere. Not to totally trash the place: It’s a decent gym with alright spacing; however the membership plans and customer service is horrible.

You would think: for a job where a worker could get commission per membership sale, that they’ll be motivated right?
Not this gym. I’m convinced that the workers here only get paid hourly because even tho I spoke on the phone, before arriving, about purchasing a membership, they still gave horrible customer service once I arrived in person.

I was a proud golds gym member for years until this last 7 months when suddenly I owe 300$ for my wife and me when my card expired. I paid up and cancelled our membership, but received a letter from Golds legal department saying we still owed almost 200$! I sent proof we paid and still got harassment letters threatening to report this to credit department for non payment.
The gyms fine and the employees are great but If I could give this gym’s management negative five stars I would.

Their workers recorded the wrong email address and sent my bill to an email I never received. Months later, they text me and say they are sending my fees to collections. Not once did they call and ask where I have been for the last few months.

I’ve also voiced my opinion about their equipment on facebook with my friends, and the manager at the time called and asked me to take down my comments—instead of fixing the issues we had a problem with.

I’ve been coming to this facility for 8 years and this is by far the worst it’s been operated and managed. This gym doesn’t care about their members, and only contact you if they want something from you.

Unethical business practice. I had to move to different state, so i cancelled my service 2 months prior, they signed the paper and told me my service was terminated. I just called them and told them you are still charging me and the guy said, i was active. HOW THE HELL I AM ACTIVE WHEN I CANCELLED 2 months ago. I moved out of state!! Do you think ppl are that dumb!!! HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRATICE, i am gonna report you to BBB as well. After 2 months you are still charging me?? YOU KIDDING ME. I was lucky i saw the charge on the CC, i don't know what will they do to those ppl who dont check their credit cards statements. Stay away!!
