Good Body Pilates has been truly life-changing for me! I started classes before my pregnancy and felt stronger, leaner, and more energized than ever. During pregnancy, Jackie was amazing at tailoring movements to keep me safe while still challenging me — I felt supported every step of the way. After giving birth, Pilates became an essential part of my recovery, helping me rebuild strength, improve posture, and feel like myself again.

The studio is welcoming, the classes are thoughtfully designed, and Jackie genuinely cares about her clients. I can honestly say Pilates kept me in shape before, during, and after pregnancy — and I’m so grateful to have found this place!

Had an amazing session with Jackie this week. She has an incredible eye for detail and knows more about pilates than any instructor I've encountered in my years of taking pilates! If you're looking for true pilates while learning new movements this is the place to go. Jackie kept the class fun and entertaining while focusing on the fundamentals. It's refreshing to have an instructor who pays attention to details for each member and helps them make adjustments during class. As a physical therapist and certified pilates instructor, I appreciated Jackie's ability to guide me through difficult movements with positive reinforcement. 10/10 recommend!!!

I do mat Pilates regularly and had only experienced one reformer class before today. I didn't think reformer Pilates was my thing, but I loved it today and felt like it was a really good workout!

Jackie is an attentive instructor and didn't go easy on us just because it was a beginner class. I really appreciated that.

Looking forward to trying it again!

The space is bright and clean and comfortable. (That's also a big difference from the other studio I experienced, which was dark.) The space feels like a retreat, almost meditative. And there are cubbies to store your things while you get your Pilates on.

Good Body Pilates is a great studio! Jackie Hinton, a professional dancer, is very knowledgeable on how the body moves and the best way to get results. Even at 69 years of age I have benefited from her classes. I have seen my body change and my strength and endurance improve. I am more flexible and feel better than ever. Only wish I had started sooner. Give it a try. You won’t regret it.

I took a class from the owner and it was my first Pilates experience. I am a runner, but a total beginner when it comes to Pilates and Yoga type of exercises. Emilie made my first experience with Pilates easy yet gave me a great workout and I feel inspired to do more to work on my core and some of the muscles I tend to neglect.

The space is bright, beautiful, fresh and relaxing. She has a variety of really great Pliates machines that I am beginning to get to know (I used to think they were all torture devices, ha).

When I am there, I feel like I am taking a retreat from the world and it does not feel like most other studios and gyms, where someone threw some equipment into an office or garage. If you are going to try Pilates in Santa Monica, I highly recommend this place. They do mat classes and individual one on one training, she is very knowledgeable.
