Super cool private fitness studio! Got a boxing lesson with my sister from Ken and had an absolute blast. I was surprised at how much he was able to teach two first timers in one hour. We burned a ton of calories having a great time, can’t beat it!

I had never done any mitt-work before my session with Coach Ken but he had me feeling myself by the end lol. He breaks things down into easily understandable pieces and is motivating and encouraging while also pushing. And what an arm workout! It was a deceptively slow burn - 2 days after I could barely lift my shoulders! Don’t recommend good a fun workout.

I had the chance to take a boxing mitt session with Ken at Good Health Studio, and it was such a great experience! Ken is incredibly down to earth and made me feel comfortable and confident from the start. He explained every movement clearly and kept the energy fun. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping you improve. The gym itself is also very clean and well-maintained, which made the whole experience even better. I recently had an incredible boxing mittwork session with Ken, and wow, what an experience! It was my first time, so I was a little nervous, but Ken was super patient and made me feel comfortable right away. He guided me through every move and made the whole session fun and empowering.
By the end, I felt like such a badass! 💪 It was not only an amazing workout but also such a great way to release stress, especially as a single mom juggling work and my business. I left feeling stronger, lighter, and already planning my next session.

i had a boxing session with coach ken and it was nothing short of suchhh a good workout and great intel of form. it def makes me aware of your body and movements but he walks you through it and focuses on the points you may be missing. it’s really an easy walk through and a great push on your body.
the space is beautiful - clean, spacious- and it has some machines that are just the necessities.
if you’re in ktown or nearby, i highly suggest you check it out!!

I did a one on one boxing session and loved every minute of it. I've taken group boxing classes and thought those would be harder, but this kicked my behind. After the workout I was able to get some nutrition advice as well which was anice bonus. Very clean space. Lots of parking.

Initially I was a bit nervous because I’m a bit rusty on my coordination skills but Coach Ken really was super patient with me! He took at my pace and made super I was comfortable. With other boxing trainers my hands would hurt really bad after but the technique, the way coach wrapped my hands as well as the sets he planned for me were great! No pain at all!

Hi this is my 5 star review for Ken the Boxing Coach. I’ve watched Ken from 2017 to now 2025 how far he’s came from his health & fitness weight loss journey, and public documentation on public vlogs.
To him exploring Muay Thai, BJJ, and really finding love and a home in Boxing. He’s went from being a student into a solid coach.
Ken is the real deal he really looks into learning the Martial Arts, and Boxing applying all he’s learned over the years passing on his 1st hand experience and knowledge through trial and error.
Ken has sought out to train and learn from some of the best coaches in the game, and California. It doesn’t matter if you are a brand new beginner or amateur athlete even professional, Ken is qualified to help you every step of the way.
Great Job Ken I don’t give out props and sugar coat things in Martial Arts or Boxing but I’m proud of you how much you stuck with it and how far you’ve came this is only the beginning sky’s the limit.

Just had a great workout with Ken and it was amazing! I’ve worked with Ken in the past as a fitness trainer and he’s awesome at that. Today as a boxing Coach, he’s still awesome! Ken is such a motivational dude and he doesn’t even have to try, coaching just comes so naturally to him. Again I’ve worked with him to some capacity for years and he still motivates me and I’m still learning from him. He takes what you know and finds ways to challenge you. He breaks things down step by step. Once you finish working out with him he makes you feel like a champ, he makes you feel confident and strong. Ken is very knowledgeable and he takes great pride in what he does. He not only speaks about fitness he practices what he preaches. Which is what I think makes him such a great Coach. He’s been there, he knows the struggle and he knows how to communicate that. To quote him “one punch, one breath at a time”. He’ll set you up to succeed one step at a time.

I had the pleasure of working with Coach Ken on a 50 minute boxing session and let me tell you, he delivered. From the moment you step in , to the moment you leave, the attention to detail is immaculate. I have been away from boxing for a months now and I left feeling like a pro. Coach Ken, works at your pace and notices the small details to elevate your game. The techniques not only elevate the heart rate and burn fat! But also teach you valuable skills you can transfer to real life. In only 50 minutes I burned about 600 calories and enjoyed every second of it. Lastly, the studio is well set up, has amazing lighting, and quality equipment. 5 out 5! Can’t wait to go back!

Was I tired? yes. Was I sick with food poisoning the day before? yes. Did I commit anyway? yes. After traveling and working back to back weeks. I found Ken through a very nice friend who posted his business on her social feed. I haven't had a workout in weeks because of work and I NEEDED to do something and personal training always feels comfortable and focused.
Ken was super accommodating, professional, and has a great story himself. He focuses on personal training and weight loss. Ask him about it when you go.
If you need personal training, active training, boxing, and a nice chill space to do it, Good Health Studio is good for that.
I felt like I worked out during and after, but I slept like a baby and felt amazing after! Just do it.

Joon is professional and attentive. He takes notes from each session to custom-tailor the training sessions to fit each trainee's needs and follows through in the subsequent sessions. Cannot recommend this studio enough! Joon is an amazing personal trainer who really tailors his lessons to your specific needs and goals. I really liked how we focused on boxing with mitts and technique rather than cardio unlike most boxing places I’ve tried. Also, parking is easy and free (which is rare in Koreatown). I just had a boxing training session with Ken and he was terrific. I’ve been part of many boxing gyms in the past and I can say with confidence Ken knows what he is doing. The other thing I really liked was the entire 50 minute session was devoted to boxing (using mitts). Most gyms I used maybe spent 15 minutes max using personal mitts. The rest of the time was spent doing more fitness and other types of training such as shadow boxing. Ken went out of his way to make the training personal which I appreciated a lot. I highly recommend anyone looking to either improve their boxing skills or get a good workout to try Ken.

More than just a trainer or a coach. Ken is a teacher. Working with Ken you get a sense of progression with every session. He helps you develop the fundamental skill set while strengthening your physical abilities. Coach Ken is a rare gem in the boxing/mitt work world. I love training with him 1-on-1. The workouts go by super fast, but really get my heart rate up right from the start. This spot is such a hidden gem! For starters, it’s hands-down one of the cleanest gyms I’ve ever been to—spotless, organized, and clearly well cared for. The space is super efficient, with every square foot put to good use, so you’ve got plenty of room and all the equipment you need for a great workout. Good Health Studio is hands down one of the best boxing gyms! Ken personalizes the workouts so its geared to tour level. I went there simoly for a workout (because the reviews sasys it a great workout) and afyer a few sessions left feeling like a beginner boxer with hopes of competing. Ive been feeling stronger, healthier, and my weight is coming off in a way that I wouldn't have imagined. I've tried other boxing gyms and for the mitt work for the prices beats the rest.

I took my first boxing class ever with Coach Ken, and he made it such a welcoming and enjoyable time! His many years of experience and knowledge in the sport is very apparent through his ease of explanation and critique of form. He made different types of techniques easy to understand, and was able to gently steer me in the right direction when something was off.
The space itself is very clean, has nice decor, and the equipment is well kept. Not sure if it's the studio or Coach Ken in charge of the aux cord, but also a huge plus for the bumping playlist! Overall I would definitely recommend Coach Ken to anybody interested in taking private boxing lessons.

Both Joon and Ken are great trainers! The best I’ve come across in LA…I’ve suffered the repercussions from a surgery required hip injury and Joon has been absolutely fantastic in creating a specialized program for my condition that has been more successful in rehabbing me than the physical therapist. My overall health and body composition has improved over the years I’ve consistently trained with him.
Ken has been great for boxing. I have found him to be incredibly patient as I trained the basics with him and with just a couple sessions I have found significant improvement with my hand eye coordination. It has been a great workout for the development of balance and coordination.

Joon is the BEST personal trainer I’ve ever worked with. And this is coming from someone who’s tried it all in both NY and LA at all of the elite gyms in the country. Both corrective and supportive he’s changed the way I work out so that I can progress towards my body goals while also fixing my skeletal ailments. He’s incredibly informative for both beginners and challenging for those who’ve trained forever so there is always something I learn every week that I see him. I’ve recommended him to everyone looking into starting personal training.
Ken is also the best boxing coach I’ve met…again as someone who’s tried many different boxing classes. Super challenging and encouraging…my coordination has improved incredibly!

Had an amazing experience at Good Health Studio! The space is super clean and welcoming. I did a one hour boxing session with Kenneth and left feeling like a champ. Ken is not only incredibly knowledgeable, but he also has a great way of breaking down movements and techniques so they’re easy to understand and follow. Thanks to both coaches, I am not the same person who used to suffer from constant pains in the back and legs. I came from barely able to carry myself through flights of stairs, to squatting four plates on regular workout sets. I started training with Coach Ken at the end of2020 during the Pandemic and because of coach Ken, I discovered a new hobby and a new love…boxing. Sometimes people say old dogs can’t learn new tricks so being in my 40s I knew that it would be a challenge to learn something new. Ken trained me in the best way possible, with patience, knowledge, and stressing foundation and fundamentals over everything. His training was so good that now years later people still can’t believe I’ve been training for 4 years and not 15 years, and it’s all thanks to Ken. I started working out with Ken when I was focused on weight training and getting ready for competitions.
Throughout the years he’s helped me tremendously in my weight loss and muscle growth journey.
Ken had suggested that I tried boxing with him as another form of working out. I was a bit hesitant because I was shy, and thought I was weak when it came to throwing punches.
When we started I was definitely a little awkward, but as time progressed I learned how to have fun. Ken made the environment comfortable and he’s an amazing teacher. I’m not the quickest when it comes to learning, but he was extremely patient with me.
Ken has been helping me for quite some time, I can proudly say I can hit hard with precision now.
