It's a small gym more like a big room, everyone is friendly and helpful. It could use more air conditioning as It wasn't easy to find air in the room.

I've been a member at GoTribe for just over a year, and I have to say I am SO GLAD I joined!
I will admit, I was intimidated at first. There's a lot to learn when you're getting back into focusing on your health and movement, and I was (and still am) recovering from a shoulder injury. Working with Kiera, we determined my fitness baseline, and established goals from there, starting with plenty of modifications. Having a coach to help keep me on track and learn what realistic goals are was incredibly helpful!
The small class sizes ensure that you get seen by coaches during the workout for form corrections, progressions, or regressions. All of the coaches are so incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming. They know when to push you, celebrate the big wins, the tiny victories, and are supportive on the occasional day when your 100% is closer to your 20%.

If you're looking to reach your personal fitness/health goals look no further than GoTribe! I joined a few months ago and could not be happier. The trainers are amazing - incredibly knowledgable, encouraging and friendly - and the other members are supportive and inspiring. The classes are challenging and diverse, they put a lot of effort into devising plans to get us working every inch of our bodies! I also opted for the personal training option and have been working out with the amazing Juliana! I truly don't think you can go wrong with any of their trainers, but I've loved working out with Juls - she makes sure to target all the area that I need to work on and keeps everything fresh and engaging... plus she's just an absolute joy to be around.

A great and safe place to workout and connect with a wonderful community. Every trainer is knowledgeable, patient and supportive. Highly recommend! GoTribe is more about gaining knowledge about what works for YOU, and less about doing the same thing over and over again. Every month, week or daily workout is considered and applied to each person. Great coaches, and great group of people to work out with. GoTribe has done such an incredible job with their own specific approach to fitness where a coach directly partners with each member. Classes are supportive, motivating, educational, and challenging. Coaches give individual feedback during workouts on form and consistent encouragement. I feel very lucky to have found this gym and had the honor of learning from coaches Kiera and Kricket directly.

I love working virtually with Kiera at GoTribe! A few years ago I signed up as I needed help making activity a priority and changing my diet. Kiera was so patient with me as I made small changes over time.
She never got down on me but helped me find small wins when I felt there was nothing to celebrate. The workouts are fun and change so I’ll never get bored. Kiera helped me understand what my body needs and how to listen to it - when to take a break and when to power through and show up for myself.
I would never have gotten here without Kiera holding me accountable. And cheerleading me and believing I could get here when I didn’t see it. Highly recommend!

GoTribe has an incredible environment for people to train and meet their goals. Every level of experience is welcomed and encouraged and what comes out of it is a supportive and fun community both of, and for the members and trainers.
I've been going to gyms for over twenty years and I hadn't experienced one as fulfilling as GoTribe. I had hit a pretty large plateau in my fitness regimen and needed a change. Even with all of those years of working out, I learned so many things from every trainer there: an adjustment on form for a movement I thought I was doing right for years, guidance on movements that I avoided out of fear of injury, and lessons on wellness outside of the gym, which goes an incredibly long way.
Often times the hardest part about going to the gym is getting the motivation together to leave your front door to get there and do the work. The trainers and the community at GoTribe motivate you to take that step out the door and get to it. The classes at GoTribe have all of the lifts and movements laid out for you AND they're set in a timeframe so you don't have to build your own workout plan and budget for time. It's all built-in.
I was a member of GoTribe for over three years and had to leave due to a move, otherwise I'd still be there mixing it up with everybody. One of the great built-in things with GoTribe is the community of members is there with you through every work out.
They're feeling what you're feeling and they're breathing as hard as you are, so wherever you are in your goals, there are people that are there with you on the same page as you are. If you're self-conscious about where you are, the support from the community and the trainers will help melt it away.
If you feel like you're stuck and rudderless in your fitness journey or if you've never touched a barbell in your life, I couldn't recommend going to GoTribe more.

I returned to Go Tribe in November 2022 after my departure in 2019. I returned with excitement and an eagerness to reconnect with a community that helps its members feel empowered, confident and accomplished at all levels. During my departure no training program matched the consistency and commitment I felt from its trainers. The gym is a space with a warm welcome upon entry with trained coaches that really care for its members’ development and improvement. The ending of your session contains celebrations and shoutouts to keep us all inspired and informed. Members are excited to work out together. I have a permanent injury and my coach Kiera doesn’t see it as a hurdle, but helps maintain my program with modifications that suit me. Kiera is a burst of energy and at a 530pm class, pushes us to do our best and stay on track to meet our goals while blasting 90s genre music. Her honest humor is refreshing after a long day in the office! And she celebrates accomplishments of team members equally! Even on a “bad” day she makes you feel like you met your goal of showing up and putting the work in. I’m so proud I made the return and in the process loosing inches and gaining perspective. I came into GoTribe for Personal Training with reserve because I personally do not respond to stereotypical gym and/or fitness culture, but those reservations went away immediately upon walking in and meeting my trainer, John Livemore.
John is friendly, great at assessing my current physical abilities and designed a program for me that addresses my weakness, builds on my strengths, and ultimately lays the foundation to what my ultimate fitness/goals are. He makes our sessions feel like working out with a friend that holds you accountable for your own goals. Cannot recommend enough.
GoTribe itself has a culture of positivity that got through to this nihilist's heart, because it feels genuine, not culty or forced, and all the employees have been beyond helpful and friendly.

My daughter and I joined this gym to get fit, lose weight, and gain strength. We are not disappointed!!! We both have lost weight each week and are increasing our strength. Love GoTribe and Kiera is the best trainer! Kiera meets me where I am and pushes me where I need to be at the same time. She magically knows how to motivate me and has held space for me as I’ve cried too many times to count. The owner had me do a personality quiz and a love language quiz before matching me with a trainer and I really think it made a huge difference. The workouts are tailored to my goals and leave me drenched in sweat and feeling like I’ve accomplished something big for the day.

They provide many tools that help make working out and going to the gym something that also continues when out of the space. The whole team really cares about your well being and will coach you on how to exercise accurately and safely. I also highly recommend Coach Jerreal because he is extremely knowledgeable and goes the extra mile. Jerreal is great at providing personalized feedback and in a context that makes sense to each individual. Ive been training here for 2 months now with Jerreal as my coach. He is very knowledgeable and created a program that is working for me. There’s an app where you can log your meals, take note of your stress & sleep, plus track your workouts with a heart monitor, so that your coach can create a plan that works for you. Jerreal is very organized & positive. I meet with him weekly so he can correct my form & track my progress. The plan he creates gives me the flexibility to do the workouts at home & the app is a great way to communicate with him. I highly recommend if you are trying to work on your fitness goals at any level.

Before I start my review, I'd like to say that I write this review with my own free will NOT because of fear that my trainer Krickit will make me do deadlifts or burpees or lunges or some evil combo of all three. No! I write this because I genuinely enjoy going to Go Tribe. I joined in 2022 after gaining a lot of pounds due to covid and I can say that I have not only lost the extra pounds but I've gotten into better shape than before lockdown hit. The trainers are nice and know what they're talking about. My trainer keeps me accountable for my workout goals and the community there is truly a tribe. I can not recommend GoTribe enough!

I’ve worked with GoTribe doing remote personal training, and the trainers are fantastic. Krickit and Kiera are excellent - putting together custom programs that really helped me to increase my strength and then maintain a high level of fitness when I was short on time to workout. I started my personal training at GoTribe with coach John about 4/5 months ago and it's been an amazing experience thus far. He's an extremely knowledgeable trainer and is able to explain things and break things down in simple to understand ways and thoroughly answer any questions I have. He adjusts my program as needed based on my progression, personal goals and any issues such as injuries I might have. On top of that, he's a very down to earth, cool guy and very personable. Became a member of this gym back in June 2022. The staff is awesome. The programs are expensive but I didn't want to go to a gym where you just come in and use equipment and the staff would just give you cursory attention. My trainer goes over my concerns and makes modification lists for me so that I don't hurt myself which is greatly appreciated. The staff is very encouraging especially Kiera, Kricket and John.
I like the fact that there aren't a lot of machines in the gym. The workouts generally use equipment and moves that you can do at home. That is fortunate because the downside of GoTribe is that most of the machines like the exercise bike have been broken for months. Luckily I don't use it that much. The treadmill is a little glitchy too. It won't stay on a setting for too long. Again, luckily I don't use it that much. Some of the resistance bands are pretty worn so I hope at least those get replaced quickly.

The true magic of this place comes not just from the really tough but really rewarding workouts but from the community. Everyone - not just the trainers - is so welcoming. The vibes are awesome. On top of that, my assigned trainer Kiera, really helps keep me on track and motivates me with daily texts. It's so rare to have an entire community built to help you achieve your goals, and that's my favorite part.
When I first joined, I was nervous cause I have joint issues, but every trainer takes into account your injuries/limitations, building up your body slowly so it can handle more. It's been awesome!

I used to be terrified of the gym. I never really knew what I was suppose to be doing. GoTribe has changed all of that. The gym is now my favorite part of the day. Y’all…. I cannot say enough good things about this gym! And I actually *look forward* to my sessions. I have been training with Coach John for about two months now, and already have such a drastic change in my daily mood & increased strength with different exercises. Everything I have experienced at this gym has been holistic focused… it’s not about getting you on crazy restrictive diets, expensive supplements, or upgrading your membership. It’s always been focused on the whole of who you are as a person, who has a real life and real goals. I have only ever felt seen and accepted for who I am, and where I am in my fitness journey, by everyone I have met here. Cannot recommend them enough!

I cannot say enough about this gym, the staff, or the athletes who call it home. As a former professional athlete who fell away from fitness and into a bunch of unhealthy habits for several years, I found getting back into shape beyond daunting. GoTribe, Krickit, and the community of trainers and athletes pulled me out of the quicksand. They are not a one-size-fits-all gym. They meet each athlete where they're at. I have a few lingering injuries, for which, they always have workarounds. They keep their finger on the pulse of new studies around health and fitness and share their findings with us. I've never experienced a toxic peer pressure to push to a point of injury. This is a positive environment that utilizes data to serve progress...and they keep alllll the data! Some people wonder why I drive 2hrs a week (roundtrip) to go to a gym and my answer is this, "in my opinion, there is not a gym in Los Angeles that has more integrity, is more informed, or will give you the level of attention, genuine care, and RESULTS that GoTribe will." If you're really wanting to become a healthier version of yourself, sign-up, listen, follow their guidance, and your wish will be granted.

I’ve been at this gym for four months and I am in love! The space has everything I need to get a solid work out in. Each small group training, led by experienced coaches, offers the option to burn or lift during the full body workout. All the coaches are knowledgeable, well versed, and authentic-giving adjustments, as needed, throughout the workout to ensure proper form. My trainer (Keira) is wonderful! Energetic, positive, and direct. Considerate of my history, personality, and goals while training me. If your looking for an Instagram gym, this is not the place for you. GoTribe provides an environment where you can become educated and grow into the strong, healthy, capable person you are. Despite everyday challenges, I find myself getting to this gym, my motivation has never been this present. Once you GoTribe you never go back.

I can’t say enough good things about coach Jerreal. I started working with him as 51 year old, out of shape and over weight woman. Over the past few months Coach Jerreal has helped me improve my balance, coordination, and muscle mass. I’ve lost 8 pounds and I feel so much healthier and better about myself. This place is the real deal! The space is clean, well organized, and has everything you need. The trainers are experienced, engaging, and nice. Class workouts were new to me but it's been easy to learn and fun to get into. They assign you a coach to track your progress inside and outside the gym, and John is the best!! I've been going to GoTribe Toluca Lake for a little over a year. At the start, my goal was purely weight loss. I’ve always been active as a former college athlete but when I suffered a nasty fracture to my dominant arm last year that required surgery, it turned my world upside down. Right about the time I was cleared by my surgeon to start workouts, I saw a post from Krickit who tagged a friend of mine who was working out at GoTribe. I said, “That’s where I need to be” and it was. Jerreal guided me back into my workouts and I started classes soon after. Ultimately, I had to have a second surgery which was frustrating but the recovery has been so much better with the encouragement from Jerreal, Krickit, Kiera , Russ and Juliana. They have no idea how much it’s helped me. I look forward to every workout and I’m the strongest I’ve been in years!

This has been the only gym I’ve been able to stick with for any long period of time! I started in 2020 and I haven’t looked back since. I love my 8:10am class, and Krickit is my person- look no further if you want a funny, compassionate, motivational trainer to help you tackle your fitness goals.

I cannot emphasize enough what a great place this is. It’s not your average gym where you go and do your own thing on your own time, every single coach here actively cares about everything from your form to your well-being to acknowledging your progress! They also have weekly lessons that hone in on specific topics like foods high in protein to maintaining good posture to foods you didn’t know were high in fats but also really good for you. Coach Kiera is also a wicked amazing coach that makes every class fun and educational, and I’ve learned a lot about my own strength as well as better form for various workouts I didn’t know I was doing wrong before. I have a hard time sticking to a general workout routine, but knowing that this place is there for me with open arms when I CAN keep a routine going is such a godsend. Overall, if you’re looking for a gym with coaches that care about your form, well being, and progress, this is the place for you!

I had an amazing class with Coach Kiera. Ive been going to my own gym for a while and have known for a while that i needed help on a bunch of things technique wise, but also more workouts to add to my routine. I ended up take a class and coach Kiera was absolutely amazing. The class kicked my butt just as much as I had hoped, I learned so much, fixed all my bad technique habits and my body is thanking me so much. I started my personal training session with Kiera in January 2022 with a weight loss goal for my wedding in May 2022. I have consistently worked out 4-5 times per week for the past 2 years. I tried Jillian Michaels and online fitness challenges which helped me to achieve some weight loss, but I felt that I had reached a plateau. My decision to join GoTribe fitness is by far the best decision I have made for my fitness journey! Kiera constantly challenges me to improve my eating habits and recognize my emotional and physical strength! She is genuinely excited to see me reach (and surpass) my fitness milestones. With our dedicated weekly meetings, we constantly create new goals. Furthermore, I love the home workout assignments because they help me to remain active and focused outside of our personal training sessions.

I won a 30 day membership with JULIANA & I must say she is a Ray of Sunshine to be coached by. Unfortunately because of distance, we worked through FaceTime so I was unable to attend her studio. I can’t put into words how amazing she is! That month was a difficult Month for me & our weekly FaceTime meetings helpEd me push forward & complete my goals. I started going to GoTribe in January 2019 after not working out properly for years. I am not into sports and the only athletic things I really enjoyed were dancing and...walking to various cafes. I work mostly from home mostly at a desk and had to see a chiropractor often for neck/shoulder issues. I had been depressed after a death in my family and didn’t feel great. I started out doing 3 days a week, and it took a while for me to get used to that level of exercise. My knees were a mess for a while in the beginning.
Now that it’s been a year and a half I feel so much better. I currently work out at least 5 days a week, I eat better, I’ve gained quite a bit of muscle, lost 20 lbs, don’t need to see the chiropractor anymore, and I’m no longer on medication for depression. I feel more confident and healthier than I’ve been in about a decade.
My coach Russ is amazing and always pushes me and encourages me, even when I complain. The accountability the coaches and program offer really helps keep you on track.
Even now during safer-at-Home I’m able to keep my workout schedule, and my meetings with Russ, and I know it’s a major factor in keeping my sanity right now! It’s an investment for sure - but it has paid off in so many ways.

I had never been a member of a gym until Go Tribe and I am so happy I joined almost a year ago. The coaches are friendly and helpful and it truly feels like Cheers where everybody knows your name. The classes are difficult but the environment and people make it fun. Weekly meeting with my one-on-one trainer Krysten keep me on track and making progress. When stay-at-home orders started, I was concerned as to how I would be able to continue the workouts but the gym quickly pivoted to Zoom and it's been a great experience still getting to see familiar faces. I recommend Go Tribe to everyone I know and can't imagine my life without it now!

Small group classes are a blast makes working out really fun. Can't say enough good things about this place! I have had negative experiences with gyms and trainers in the past, so like a lot of people trying out a gym for the first time, I was nervous and a little hesitant. Everyone at GoTRIBE, especially Coach Ty, has been so welcoming and has had my back since day one of my free trial. GoTRIBE has been AMAZING during the COVID-19 crisis. My coach has helped me shift from in-person group training classes (which I loved) to online streaming workouts, and has also come up with modifications for every class based on the limited equipment I have. I’ve done the big Corporate gym. I’ve done the 1-on-1 Trainer experience. But GoTribe truly is different.This is a “tribe” of people who encourage and push each other to improve. The Small Group classes feature exercise and lifestyle education along with the sense of community.

This gym is an absolute game changer for me. I needed a place not only where I could take fitness classes, but somewhere that actually cared about form and elements outside of the typical workout. For me, I desperately needed accountability, especially with food. If you join the gym you can find the coach that's right for you and your needs. With my coach, Ty, we've worked together to decide on my food goals, and any other goals to help promote my personally mental and physical wellness. I meet weekly with my coach to review my goals for the week and where we need to adjust, if at all. They have classes in the morning, late morning and evening. The classes are small so you are getting a quality workout with quality instruction. The gym is for people of all ages and athletic backgrounds, even if you're a beginner!

GoTribe is an incredible personalized, strength training gym! With the unlimited membership you have your own personal coach, one-on-one meetings with them, to discuss sleep, stress, nutrition, and exercise - all forms of well-being! I've been working with Dan S. and he's amazing - really positive, hard-working and fun to work with.The group classes are amazing - 50 minutes of both body-weight exercises and weighted exercises, and you can choose whether you want to "lift" or "burn" (more cardio focused). I've been going since July 2019 and couldn't be happier. They've even turned to Zoom during safer-at-home orders, so you can continue working out with the trainers, which has had a huge effect on my mental health during this time!

Dakota Brown has gotten to know me and worked with me to figure out where I am and which small steps I need to take in order to get there.
When we discussed that my tennis elbow needs additional physical therapy expertise, she suggested someone who got right to the heart of my injury and gave me realistic exercises to to help me improve long term. My last place was more expensive because of more visits and they weren't organized about having a manageable routine to sustain long term.
I've also learned a lot about the process of becoming healthier and what I need to do in order to make workouts more effective.
I still have a ways to go but I'm happy to have Dakota to help me at each step of the way and provide support and accountability!

I've never been a part of a gym before, mostly out of fear.
About a year ago I started working out in my tiny apartment gym and started to see some little results while a friend of mine couldn't stop raving about GoTribe. Again, out of fear, I told them to stop and I'm not joining.
A few weeks later, I finally decided to take a chance and signed up for the free trial, still scared (but you can't live in fear your whole life, right, and if I didn't like it, well at least I tried).
Cut to now, and I've been a member at the gym for over two months and (dare I say it) I really love it. What I initially was afraid of (egotistically gym rat bullies who would only take a rest from their bench pressing to mock the new guy who couldn't do as much work as them) simply does not exist here and it's actually laughable to think of that being true.
Outside of great, fun workouts (that include everything from lifting, to step, to boxing, and circuit, and more) that will have you dripping sweat each day, GoTribe really creates a community of fun people who aren't judging you as they are too busy trying to keep up themselves.
The trainers here are down to earth, quirky themselves, and keep you motivated for the other 23 hours you're not at the gym. I now go 6x/week and actually miss it on my days off (who am I?!?!).
Look, if you want to feel better about yourself, get healthy, and don't know where to start, just do the trial. If it's not for you then all you lost out on was a bunch of sweat that you'll be covered in during that time.
So glad my friend bugged me enough that I joined and I didn't let me nonsensical fears stop me. :)
