For more than 40 years, Gymnastics Olympica has been training gymnasts to compete at the highest levels. Our mission is to promote the highest standards of gymnastics in the support of the USAG teams. We do so by teaching successful habits to students β from toddlers to teenagers β in a fun, yet challenging environment. Founded by Austrian national champion and long-time coach Fritz Reiter, Gymnastics Olympica has developed gymnasts who have gone on to participate in the Olympics, Junior Olympics and World Maccabiah Games. Our expert coaching staff has helped students get college scholarships and compete on teams at Cal-Berkley, University of Illinois, University of Michigan, UCLA, Yale, University of Nebraska, Arizona State, etc..

I really like the gym and my daughter too!
What I donβt like, is when one coach is not showing up, the coach has to teach 2 classes! I think itβs not fair! If you pay a lot of money.
Unfortunately, the coaching hasn't met expectations-there's a lack of engagement and effective instruction. We've raised these concerns multiple times, but nothing has changed. It's frustrating to feel unheard, especially when all we want is a positive and supportive environment for the kids. We hope the management takes action soon to improve the quality of the program.

A well organized gym. Students are well supervised with almost a one-on-one instructor. Well aired. A comfortable parents-viewing- room. Instructors are Olympians bound. My granddaughter, 5, lives it.

Such a shame that they never answer the phone. I've called on different occasions at different times and left voicemails, but nothing. There's never an answer or a call back.

Stay clear of this Gym! My child was put through verbal and mental abuse. So glad we finally got away from it. Not to mention the over priced fees.

Our daughter started when she was 3 1/2 in the Saturday classes and was on pre-team by four. She is now 8 and competing level 4. It's been the best experience ever. She has grown into an amazing athlete and is such a well rounded young person who inspires us all daily. The coaches are beyond fantastic and the best I have experienced. I could go on and on for days about them. They help our girls achieve perfection and when we go to competitions its astonishing to see our girls. I recommend GO to everyone I know and if you want to be at the best gym, with the best coaches this is itπͺπ»πͺπ»πͺπ».

Unfortunately, my toddler had a terrible experience in her first class at Wallers. I spoke with the front desk before bringing my little one in, and felt like the class they offered may be a good option for my daughter to experience a class that is not "mommy and me", as that is what she has always done. I was a bit worried, as she has never been worked with without me directing her, but that was the point of trying out the class (I was assured by the front desk that they had great teachers that work with little ones all the time). However, upon arriving I walked my little one to the back where an instructor (who did not introduce herself to me or my child) took her by the hand and began guiding her through the class. My daughter was a little unsure, but complied, allowing the instructor to physically guide her through the majority of the exercises. I was shocked, since this instructor only smiled maybe once the entire time, and made very little eye contact. During the obstacle portion the instructor kept yawning and staring off at who knows what, the only praise for my daughter was a couple of claps after she tumbled her down a small ramp. My little one was quite confused but kept going. Again I was shocked that she toughed it out with strangers and very little reinforcement, but eventually my daughter had enough. The two other children in the class (a little older) got directed to do bar work and my little one was still in the foam pit, one of the instructors told her to get out and pointed to where she wanted her to go (a little excitement/enthusiasm may have worked better for a 2yr old), my daughter didn't comply after a few directives from the instructor. So, the instructor removed her from the pit and she began to cry. The instructor placed her by the bars and attempted to make her sit while she was crying, even sat behind her to keep her from laying down (sh was nice enough to rub my daughters back for a moment) .However, the instructor seemed lost as to what to do, looked at the other instructor and threw up her hands. I believe the other instructor is named Brittany, she came over and tried to redirect my daughter by telling her to touch her nose, but by then, it was too late. She picked my daughter up, held her out for me to grab and said, "I dont know why she is crying (well because strangers are directing her and wont even smile or get on her level), she is too young for this class" (which is fine). What isn't fine is the lack of care and enthusiasm from instructors who work with children...it was amazing to me (and not in a good way)
Why work with kids if you are going to be so robotic and clearly put out?! All I can suggest is to either not have class for my daughters age group or hire people that understand the level of energy that toddlers need (especially for their first time in a new place), it was very disappointing.
I added a star because the woman at the front desk was very sweet.

Great professional gymnastics training. The trainers are so good with the kids, each child gets personal attention throughout the lesson. This is the place to go of you want to seriously develop gymnastics skills, it's not just about fun and play. We are amazed at how much our kids are learning already with only a month here. They offer training 1x, 2x or 3 times per week. They also have competition teams and develop professional athletes.

The staff was completely unprofessional in handling an incident that occurred today when a bench fell on my daughter. Understanding that accidents happen I simply suggested that they should bolt the benches to the floor to prevent future accidents. The response I got from the staff member was one where they were on the defense saying it's never happened before and it must have been something my daughter did instead of assuring me that they will look into the matter. The woman had the nerve to say "I'm a teacher and a mother and I care for all the kids here" when I told her she had a bad attitude in how she spoke to me. Guess what...when accidents happen it's YOUR JOB to determine what happened and to do basic things like give the kids ice, band aid, etc. so don't make it sound like you went out of your way to care for my child and that I wasn't appreciative. You will continue to lose business with an attitude like that.

Best place ever, I spend 26 hours there each week and I enjoy every second of it. The coaches are amazing and the atmosphere is always happy. They also have good JO and IGC teams. Also, the people at the front desk are amazing and are always nice. Therefore, if you want to do gymnastics or a transferring from another gym, Gymnastics Olympica is the best place to go to do gymnastics.

I am a 12 year old girl and I really really want to be a gymnast but my parents don't think I can do it, I have faith in myself. I really hope the coaches can help me in fulfilling my dream. I am not very flexible but I have been stretching alot and I've gotten more flexible. From what I've read about this gym I think the coaches will be able to train me. I am going to check the place out tomorrow. But I'm trying not to get my hopes up.
