I was genuinely excited and looking forward to starting lessons with Hammond. Unfortunately, we experienced an unexpected death in our family, and in the midst of everything, I forgot to call and cancel in advance.

When I did call to explain the situation, the young woman who answered was dismissive and showed no compassion regarding our loss. She abruptly stated she would cancel the appointment and ended the call without further acknowledgment.

I was very disappointed by the lack of empathy and professionalism. This is not what I expected from a business that works closely with families and children. It’s unfortunate, as we were truly looking forward to working with your team.

I have a love hate relationship with this place. I feel like my kid has learned a lot but some of staff is very questionable, I feel like when addressed with complaints they get very hostile.

We really love Hammond swim school. Clean and well maintained place. I particularly like how they have the parents stay outside as not to be a distraction for the kids, but still are able to watch how they're doing on a TV outside. In just one week, I already saw a lot of progress for my 7 and 3 year olds. The instructors are very caring and understanding of any disabilities children may have. I will be enrolling my kids again there next week.

This is the second year 6 year old granddaughter has been through their program and I am very pleased with Brook's progress. This year the instructor was able to teach her how to go under water and hold her breath. This made our trip to Great Wolf Lodge so much fun as she loves the wave pool. Brook also now is swimming and has started to learn how to back float. She will definitely be going back next year for more lessons.

We can’t say enough good things about this swim school. We have come to love and see the teaching methods used. I enjoy that they have us wait on a nice patio watching the kids swim on TV rather then us poolside. The last two days of class parents can come back and watch the kids show off.

My kids are very nervous in the water. The teachers do push them to swim (which is the point) and listen to my kids fears. They are making sure both my kids get lots of attention and support.

I am so impressed with Hammond Swim School. This will be my kids third year there, they absolutely love going and the instructors are kind and patient. My kids were unwell for a few days and they were nice enough to call to check up on them and even offer make up classes! They are very professional, my kids can't wait for next summer!

My daughter had an amazing experience during both sessions. She absolutely loved Miss Mack and Miss Cassie. Every single person we encountered along the way was extremely friendly, professional, caring! I loved and appreciated how involved the owners were on a daily basis, from admin duties to helping out in the pool. Already signed up for next year!!!!

I have a special needs child and before Hammond my son couldn’t swim at all, but now you would think he’s a fish! We’ve came back three summer in a row for lessons and every year they’ve taught my son something new. We LOVE this place! The staff is professional, kind, and very understanding of my child’s condition. The pricing is reasonable and the hours are awesome. I couldn’t imagine taking my son anywhere else.
