My kids love swimming lessons at Happy Fish in Livermore. The instructors are great! They’re respectful, professional and really know how to work with kids. I’d like to give a special shoutout to Usman, who has been a phenomenal teacher. My son looks forward to working with him every week.

I really appreciate the “standard time” of being 3 minutes behind the slotted time. It’s so gracious, because yknow kids… haha

The Summer Program was the way to go. Kids get a hang of it quicker when they can go 4x a week than 1x. My son started late as a beginner in the summer program (3 weeks of it), but he is now in advance level.

It can be hit or miss with the instructor you get, but most are pretty good. It can be tough for kids who are learning to swim when they only get 30 minutes a week, but the summer sessions are reallt helpful. Overall this is a good place and they won't spam you like American Swim Academy does.

Highly recommend for swim classes. Our child now knows how to feel safe and comfortable in the water. Can swim in the deep-end confidently, float, etc.

A big shout out to the Happy Fish Swim school and their amazing swim teachers. My son absolutely loves swimming at this facility. He started his swimming 10 years ago in water baby section and he still loves to attend their swim clinics even today. He loves swimming so much and all that interest for swimming can be attributed to the facility and their coaches. The swim coaches are gentle with the kids and they teach the skills in a very professional way. The kids start loving the swimming from their first few classes onwards. This basic life skill was taught in a easy to learn way without stress helping them to develop love for swimming. Swimming has become a part of their relaxation and phyiscal fitness. I certainly recommend Happy Fish for anyone looking for swim classes in the Tri-Valley area.

I put my kid to Happy fish, he started at 3Y, very young, eager to learn but staff is v impatient. When my kid tried to hold instructor hand in fear of water, they always complained. They don’t care if kid is learning or not. Totally wastage of money and they don’t give proper attention to beginners.

I have been taking my daughter here for few months now and am pretty satisfied with the school. The staff as well as instructors are very cooperative. I like the fact that teachers give a good progress update at the end of very class and keep kids engaged and excited. I would definitely recommend this place.

Terrible service, I had signed up for my son trail swimming class. I had to take him at 4pm for class and 1pm they call me and say they are overbooked so we can’t do class for your son. I am unhappy with the there service.

best swim school. we like it. its indoor and they dont stop ur kids in same level for long.. once ur child shows progress they let the kid go ahead.. nice makeup policy. we r happy with the school. 1 less star for i wish they had seperate showers for girl n boys in their respective changing areas rather open shower.

When our daughter was 6 months, we started her at Happy Fish in Fremont. Six months later, we moved to Hayward and started coming to Happy Fish in Livermore. Life got in the way and we dropped from swim classes.
A year and a half later we started swim lessons someplace closer to home. Our daughter did not like that place and neither did I. So we switched to American Swim Academy. I didn't not like the atmosphere or the culture.
This summer I started my daughter back at Happy Fish. She'd been very unsure about swim lessons. (The last two places left her very apprehensive about swim lessons.) Day one with Katrina and my daughter was at ease in the water, happy to be there, and eager to come back each day. Currently have her signed up for three weeks of summer swim lessons and will definitely have her here once school has started.
This is a good place for kids and I regret ever dropping the lessons. Imagine what her skills would be like now, if we'd stayed. :/

Great swim school. My son has been moving up and learning new skills. We have been here for more than a year. Plenty of parking. Easy online payment. Easy make up policy. Staff is always nice and helpful. Our teachers have been great. There have been one or two teachers (had them during make up sessions) that are not good with kids but most of them are fun and engaging. Facility is big and clean. Heated indoor pools are always a plus. I highly recommend coming in for a free trial class.

Great swim place for lil swimmers to practice and learn new swim skills. Good trainers . Polite and friendly staff . Nice ambience . Flexible swim schedule . Make up classes if you miss the routine class . Personal trainers for swim team prep . Water seems clean and the facility is well maintained . My 4 year old daughter was taking private lessons with the teacher Melissa. Before that she had lessons with another teacher and all was going well. Ever since she started with this teacher, she stopped enjoying the lessons and it started lot of convincing to get her to the class as she never liked the way her teacher gave the lessons. We gave the teacher a benefit of doubt and talked to her in detail. However, in this week's lesson, she pushed my daughter a little too much, told her that she will never be able to go to home if she doesn't jump in water. My daughter cried non stop the whole evening, her tummy got upset due to all the stress. We have now cancelled our classes with the teacher and as expected the school people have not even responded to my complaint yet. Terrible!

Nice place for kids to learn swimming. only thing i didn't like was i felt chlorine level a bit too high for the babies' skins.
The teachers are nice and co-operative. Parking is a bit crowded on weekends.
