Head over heels athletic arts has one of most impressive gymnastics facilities I have. My daughter loves going there for lessons and always leaves with a big smile on her face.

BEST place ever. Cannot recommend HOH more highly. Fantastic camps, classes, after school classes AND elite gymnastics. Truly a place for the whole family. Weβve been with them (enrolled in all of the above) for the past 10 years. Staff are fabulous, coaches are GREAT, community is amazing. What a gem. Thank you HOH for what youβve done for the kiddos in this area!! Body positive, age positive, inclusiveβ¦everything you could look for in a place to send your kids to have athletic and mental development.

Huge gymnastics training space. Were there for a birthday and the kids loved jumping and using all the equipment that they were allowed to use.
We are definitely interested to bring one of the kids here for summer camp.

The best location for kids gymnastics! Huge space with plenty of clean up to date equipment. Amazing professional and knowledgeable staff. Staff do a good job of giving each child a fair amount of one on one time even in a group setting. Plenty of time slots to choose from for classes. Pricing is fair for the area. Culturally diverse group of children in each class. They also offer full day summer camp which has been amazing! 2 thumbs up from the kids! Make sure to check out their no school day camps. Great place to have birthday parties as well! Everything is taken care of and you can have normal adult conversations while the kids play.

Over the last 3 years my family has participated in multiple offerings at HOH: Summer Camps, No School Day Camps, Birthday Parties, weekend classes for school-aged kids and most recently toddler/parent classes.
After taking weekly classes at HOH (which my daughter loved), my daughter begged to have her birthday at Head Over Heels. She had a blast (first non pandemic birthday party). the party was a blast (even the shyest kids) and the parents got to participate as well!
The weekly classes have been amazing and my daughter continues to love coming to HOH. She always talks (and shows us) the new skills she is working on and asks when he next class is.
My son just started toddler classes and he is quite the daredevil. Yvonne teachers the class and is great at helping encouraging the littlest things to try new things but making it age appropriate.
Finally, we have participating in probably a dozen No School Day Camps that were set up to match our preschool days off. The kids always have a blast with their friends (I think you need 6 kids to get a class going).

Never ever have a party here! Worst most traumatic experience for my little guy and I. We attended a party here for a friend and the moment we walked in it was so disorganized. The teacher didn't even introduce himself to the kids or adults. He took the kids and seemed to just let them all run free in a huge gym with no presence what so ever. They didn't have a proper waiting area for the adults to wait just rows full of kids chairs (so weird) in the waiting area. A couple parents and I asked if we could grab a coffee down the street while we waited since we were standing around and the teacher said no problem and he would be leading the party. I came back to get my child, walked in and didn't know where the party was or my child. We finally found the group in the back and MY CHILD WAS MISSING. I immediately went in to panic. I asked and he didn't know where my kid was at all. He started walking toward the other end of the gym and asked another worker and the worker pointed to a corner. THEY LEFT MY 3 YEAR OLD SON CRYING IN A CORNER ALL ALONE BY HIMSELF. for who knows how long!!! He went to walk up to my son and my son was horrified. I was horrified! I grabbed my baby and asked why was nobody there for him?! Why was nobody comforting him? Why was I not called and notified? All he could say was "I'm sorry" and that's it!! I will never ever ever be back here and will tell everyone I know never to come here. These are human children and they almost lost mine. These people can not be trusted with children.

My daughter just began at HOH with a Wednesday class and private lessons. Ivonne G. is her private lessons coach and is helping her learn the skills necessary to earn a spot on their excel gymnastics competition team!
Alessandra loves playing gymnastics with her barbies! We bought the toy balance beam and love pretending to be a professional elite gymnast. Additionally, we watch Hulu's Make it or Break it's 2011 gymnastics series. She imagines herself as accomplished as the gymnast actresses.
Alessandra finds a lot of joy in learning gymnastics and finds the sport supportive in healing from sadness from loosing her father to a heart attack and going through my breast cancer diagnosis and surgery in 2020.
HOH staff and coaches are well trained, enthusiastic, professional, and great with children!

I am VERY disappointed at the lack of flexibility and customer service from this gymnastics studio. Our family has been paying for our kids to attend for the last two years starting in Aug 2020. We also enroll my two nieces when visiting California for a few weeks in the summer. HOH is not a inexpensive activity and the quality of their management team is less than pleasant or appeasing for families. I have recommended them to multiple families who signed up their preschoolers/toddlers to attend the 1-4pm session. We recently enrolled our 18 month old in classes for tots. There was a recent incident where her nanny was unable to take her and when I called to notify them and request for a make up class. I was told no, and that they do not offer make up classes. The classes for the tots are not filled and typically only have 1-2 kids there in attendance. So as a parent who has multiple children enrolled I do not understand. Not to mention they do not offer sibling discounts for multiple children being enrolled. Overall, Iβm just VERY disappointed in the lack of empathy and understanding from this gymnastics studio and I will be unenrolling my children from all activities moving forward. HOH you really need to re-evaluate your policies. In addition to giving honest feedback when talking among other parents about places and activities to put their children into.

My daughter has been on the team here for the past 5 years. My other in rec classes! The facility has the best layout for safety in the Bay area, with a foam pit accessible from all apparatus. They are being very diligent in the COVID precautions and I feel completely safe sending my kids to gym! The coaching is very professional and focused on good technique. I highly recommend sending your kids for class!

ead Over Heels is truly my 8 year oldβs happy place. He started in the preschool program when he was 3, moved to the development program at 4 and is now on the boys team at age 8. The coaches there at every level are engaging, enthusiastic and amazing in every way. They know each child, figure out how to both teach them technically, challenge them and get them to push themselves to get stronger and more confident. What started out as a short term goal of helping my son learn about the importance of balance, following instructions and paying attention in a group setting has become his passion. We were just in our driveway doing chalk art and my son wanted to draw something to surprise us with. This is what he drew, every apparatus he does (or hopes to do) in gymnastics. He can not stop thinking and talking about gymnastics. He walks across rooms on his hands, does flips in the back yard and asks constantly about ways to increase his strength. He hopes to be an Olympian and with the awesome coaching he is receiving, I have no doubt his dreams will come true. Regardless, he has found something he loves and the coaches have done a fantastic job of nurturing him and supporting him. The administrative staff at HOH is professional, helpful and responsive. They know each child and truly make an effort to connect with each family. We feel so lucky to be part of the HOH family and during these crazy times, gymnastics has been a source of stability and joy for us. We highly recommend every program that HOH offers!

Difficult to get in a class. Most have a waiting list, especially on weekends. Great facilities for both younger and older children. Lots of bars, pads and a castle in the children's area. Excellent way for kids to build coordination, balance and strength in a safe environment. Parking is pretty restrictive, make sure you pay attention to the signs.

This is a private gymnastics school for kids and teens (ages 3-5 in a separate area, ages 5+ mixed times at the big gym).
In addition to regular, weekly, gymnastics classes they offer a variety of fun activities including birthday parties (weekends only I believe), drop ins and scheduled all day camp during school closures.
Overall I've been very impressed with this place. My son works hard, has fun and it's obviously progressing his climbing, tumbling, balance and other athletic skills. Head over heels is well worth the money and time for our family.

Wonderful place to have your kids expend energy during open gym. My only complaint is that they make the parent pay full price when you are only supervising your 4 year old on the equipment!

Went to open gym on the Saturday. Adorable kids and impressive competitive gymnasts on separate ends. It was way too crowded for me. I'm pretty sure there have been kids kicked in the head because they were running around in such tight spaces. Staff were nice. Gym is biggest I've seen in the bay area so far.

This place is huge! We came here for their frequent date nights where you can drop off your child for the evening. Parking is decent, but beware of which spots your park in, as tow away zones are strictly enforced here.
