I’ve been a member since 2000. I have met many new friends through classes and socializing around the coffee pot. As another bonus, the owner brings in his extra produce and Dahlias for the taking.

Great gym, good selection of equipment, and friendly staff. Just wish they had one of those stationary rope pull/climbers. Also, I wish I lived closer. Driving from St Helena sucks.

New machinery was just installed for most of the first floor which is great, lots of classes to choose from outside of basic gym amenities, clean and organized, staff are knowledgeable, helpful and professional. Friendly and welcoming gym culture for all types of members.

I enjoyed this gym minus my experience leaving.

This ginger kid at the front desk wanted me to sign the documents and then have him fill them out right after he checked the incorrect box. After I said I will not sign something and have someone else fill them out he made a pouty face and crossed his arms while I read the entire paperwork. Weird.

I paid for ten day passes in advance and was denied using the last four of the passes because they were expired. I felt powerless and injustice because while the gym was open and I had paid in advance to use it, I was told I could not use the passes or have my payment returned. The value of the four passes I am not allowed to use amounts to almost $100 and since I was also denied a refund for them, I would not recommend the ethics of Health Quest's business plan. Now instead of buying more passes, I'm writing this review, generally feel dissatisfied and confused why passes are sold that expire as well as feeling the financial loss of nearly $100. I do not recommend entering into any membership contract with Health Quest unless the fine print is read because I was not told day passes expire when I bought them from the front desk. I highly recommend Franco Fitness which is my regular CrossFit gym and very fair with membership.

Love this gym, however it’s pretty expensive. I pay $89 a month for just myself. If they lowered the pricing then it would be 5 stars.

Been going to this gym for over 7 years now and always loved it. The only complaint I have is they should enforce the “no working out in front of the weight rack” policy a little more. Seems like the older crowd likes to loiter and hog a lot of the area just for a social hangout, which isn’t their fault but would be nice if the staff would patrol it a little more. Other than that this gym is always awesome.

Definitely love this gym. I am a local member but before choosing this gym I visited a lot throughout the Bay Area even in Los Angeles I was a visitor to a few.
When I found out about HealthQuest I knew that it was what I was looking for; but I did not imagine that in a short time it would give me the body that in my mind I had dreamed of having! I would pay double if necessary! I definitely love this gym ❤️

Clean and well maintained, with nice locker rooms and showers. I got a membership recently and love the drop-in, no-additional-cost classes.

A little bit expensive but they do have an excellent towel service, the pool is clean and the hot tubs and showers are hot and plentiful whenever I’ve been in. Locker locks work. Men’s locker room is clean. Staff are pleasant AND free coffee! To lap swim you must schedule your swim within 24 hours with front desk or on the app.
There’s a ‘community’ feel to this club. Staff are always friendly and helpful.

One of the best gyms I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. I buy a one month membership every summer when I visit my daughter in Napa, and I have a great lap pool (swimming is my thing), large well outfitted cardio and strength rooms, and a spa. The women's facilities are incredibly clean, with fluffy towels, a sauna, steam, jacuzzi, large lockers with self-coded locks. Nice body products in the showers. The staff - friendly and always busy running the front desk, replenishing towels and supplies. Thanks for such a great facility - wish I had this at home!

I have worked out in this gym for a decade and it has changed. This gym has great features and everything necessary for serious bodybuilders and powerlifters but would rather be a spa than a gym. They drove the bodybuilders and powerlifters out a few years ago.

The atmosphere is more like a shopping mall than a place where people work hard. The gym floor features light bubblegum pop and 90s eurobeat and is painted in soothing pastels. There's a snack shop which features all the newest health fads in tiny health fad portions. Light jazz plays in the locker rooms.

God forbid you actually work hard and make noise. Weather you drop or bang your weights or you accidentally bellow during a set, you are scaring their clientele away and you are sure to hear about it.

This gym has decent equipment and if you are a powerlifter or bodybuilder you can work out, but you will feel out of place.

I had just moved to Napa and was looking for a gym to try. I tried a 1-Day pass here since it had the best yelp reviews and looked awesome. I locked my bag in the locker room and used the gyms lock. To my surprise, my locker had been broken into and my iphone and wallet was stolen while I was in the shower. The 2 employees at the front desk were very apologetic and tried to be as helpful as they could but there was no such luck. I'm disappointed, not only because my private space was publicly violated, but that a gym that seems so put together has this problem. Guests deserve more security.

The gym is located in a good spot and I like themany times I have run into friendly staff there. Then their is the equipment that is managed into a routine fixing (the machines are upkept and well maintained) The gym has many pieces of equipment that workout the whole entire body. The trick to get through a cardio class is to plow on throughout the workout and pace yourself! That is what I do throughout the class for myself.

I paid an $18 fee to get a day pass to this gym and plan to do the same two more times this week (in August 2013). The facility is huge and clean and modern and very well equipped with the free weights I like using. They have two full power racks, three Olympic lifting platforms, and three full rooms of free weights and weight machines favored by the lifting crowd. They even have trap bars and parallel grip deadlift bars. In addition to all this they have tons of cardio equipment, none of which I find interesting, but which seemed to be very popular with the patrons. It's a family friendly location, with a few father and son duos spotting each other on the free weights when I was there. Next visit I plan to soak in the hot tub post workout. The biggest negatives I've come across so far are (1) too few small plates for barbells -- i.e. there are tons of 45s but the 2.5s are scarce; (2) no weight belts for adding weight to dips and pull ups.
