I’ve been seeing coach Roger for about a year and a half now. Initially twice/week and then increased to three times/week. We primarily focus on strength training and he’s a great coach who will focus on building strength, correct form and avoiding/recovering from injuries. Highly recommended.

This is my honest opinion about the amazing Coach Roger and his fitness center, Healthspan Fit. I have been coming to this studio for the last four months and am already seeing so many positive impacts both on my physical and emotional health. To be precise, I have been having chronic musculoskeletal pain issues since 2020, which cause knee pain, painful trigger points (knots) on quads and adductors, upper and lower back pain, neck pain, and wrist pain on a regular basis. I have been living with pain ranging from 7-9 out of 10 for the last few years, which has started to interfere with both my professional and personal lifestyle. My primary care physician (PCP), sports doctor, physical therapist, rheumatologist, and chiropractor have tried their best to provide me with the necessary tools. Those include multiple tests, blood work, dry needle trigger point injection, diet, massage therapy, and multiple imaging including X-ray, ultrasound, MRI, etc. All tests turned up normal. Nobody could really tell what was going on besides bad posture, stress, and a period of long work hours. It was getting hard to deal with my pain day in and day out. I was already active and doing multiple bodyweight strength training and stretching since 2019, but it was not helping to get out of the pain cycle completely. Then I got a chance to meet Coach Roger and wanted to give professional weight training a try just to see if it helps in any way! After I discussed my health issues with him, he immediately got into action and provided me with a personalized workout routine. In between my sessions, he would read many articles and acquire knowledge on my specific health issues. Then, later shared the knowledge with me, and together we discussed what other approach we could take to deal with the current problem at hand. My training with him is educational and involves rowing, squats, lunges, planks, push-ups, strength building with dumbbells, starting with smaller weights, working my way up, lat pull down, V-bar close grip lat pull down, landmine row, warm up, and cool down just to name a few.
The intensity as well as the frequency of my pain cycle has decreased tremendously in the last few weeks. I am feeling the vitality that I was missing about my overall health. The analytical and methodical approach of Coach Roger turns out to be the best way to approach such unexplainable pain syndrome. Both I and my husband get trained by him, and we both get personalized training based on our body’s requirements. I am continuing my fitness training with Coach Roger with a positive mindset and recommend him to everyone; whether they have any health issues or not, they will surely get the most out of their time and effort while getting trained by Coach Roger at Healthspan Fit.

Super good experience working out under the supervision of Rogers. He will make your experience fun but efficient and targeted. I am usually not the a gym club person but with his recipe you experience something « sur mesure »

I have never been disciplined enough to go to a gym on a consistent basis. However, after trying out Healthspan Fit three months ago, I find it addictive and I am seeing positive results already! I have a bad knee, which requires an operation in two months. Roger has been great at helping me build strength while not exerting too much pressure on that knee. In addition, he has helped me manage my health by focusing on the big picture, including breathing, sleeping, diet, sustained movement, etc. The facility is also clean and has up-to-date equipment for any workout regimen.
If you are serious about being the healthiest you can be, then set aside some time every week to engage with Healthspan Fit and focus on results. You will not regret it!

Three parts to why this is great (in order):
1. Coach Roger: provides a safe (injury-free) method to reach the objectives — is able to work with individual’s body structure, prior conditions, and strengths to create routines that work. It helps that he’s concentrating on health/wellness as much as purely fitness, and always is reading up on nutrition, sleep, and other aspects. Just a great guy to partner with on this journey.
2. The facility itself: it’s big enough to be able to cater to various routines and small enough to not make it intimidating. Very clean and well-maintained — I worked-out here through the pandemic with no issues. “Open gym hours” can be great if that’s something of a change one is looking for. Owner operated so it’s evident in the way it’s maintained.
3. Location and affordable price: conveniently located (safe) across the mall; all of this in an affordable budget.
Highly recommend trying it out for a safe and healthy fitness lifestyle.

I’ve been coming to Roger for around 6 months now and really enjoy our workouts. He’s very friendly and actively listens to the goals you have in regards to both food and fitness. I have issues with my back and he is very knowledgeable and knows how to relieve some of the pain I have with stretches and exercise. He tailors your workouts specifically so even though me and my husband workout together we do different things. He doesn’t over work you but still pushes you to get your best. Highly recommend him!
