I was in town for a week visiting my parents, and needed a place to continue doing Muay Thai. Kru Mickey, Fanny and everyone were so welcoming. I loved the care they provided to me and their students, and helping me with their technique. I've been doing Muay Thai for 21 years on and off, and have visited lots of Muay Thai gyms. The team is friendly, they people are nice and the gym is clean and big. I look forward to continuing to come here whenever I visit my parents.

I went to the Stamp Fairtex seminar here and the coaches treated me like family! Super nice and supportive and will give you the same attention as everyone else. Also they take pride in their students and ensure they were equally involved in the seminar 🀘 they also know their Mauy Thai!

Excellent Muay Thai Gym! Friendly people, very welcoming and great training. Had the great luck to train at HP Muay Thai during USA Yokkao 2023 Seminar with one of the Best Muay Thai Fighters in the world and in the History of Muay Thai, Saenchai.
Highly recommend HP Muay Thai Gym to anyone, beginners and advanced Muay Thai students.

Stopped by at Heart & Pride Muay Thai to get some work in while I was out of town. I've got to say, what an awesome gym! Really nice people, great facility, and great instruction. They made me feel like I had been training there for years, even though it was my first time in. I'll definitely be back in when I travel through the area again!

I attended here for 6 months. i generally think the place is good. Most the other students are nice. I never seen anyone get bullied which is a good sign and most the students wouldn’t be mean. Other than that i think it is a overpriced place. Paying for a armband? If i earned it why do i have to pay? I also think the test is overpriced too why do i have to pay to be considered more efficient.I personally wouldn’t pay 50$ to do something for 2hrs. I also don’t know why i would have to pay 20$ more for a different armband. But generally its a good place. The space to put your bags it limited and one out of the three restrooms is closed. Thats all i had to say its a good place i definitely miss it.

Heart and Pride is a very special place to me. I have met many friends and have had amazing experiences that I will never forget. I got into the best shape I’ve ever been by training with spectacular teammates and coaches. The people and atmosphere are what make HPMT great. The instructors are very interactive and professional. You will find a lot of talent and people willing to share. The facilities are excellent with plenty of mat space, a full ring, bags, weights, everything you need to train. I had my first fight and it was one of the best experiences of my life.

Very good place to train Muay Thai. I'm on my second class and the instructors and students are very respectful. I go to the morning class and have learned how to better my technique. Fany was nice about explaining payments but was never pushy like a lot of other places. They hooked me up with shirts and Muay Thai shorts which I totally appreciate. They do offer evening classes but I'm not an evening workout type of guy but that option is there which is great. Last but certainly not least was how clean the gym is. I love that they take good care of their equipment and disinfect pads.

I've been training at Heart & Pride for 4 months and I can tell you this, if you want to learn the art of 8 limbs in a fun and friendly atmosphere, THIS IS THE PLACE TO SIGN UP AND TRAIN! All of the Nak Muays who train at this gym are welcoming and show a great deal of respect to each other. Perfect gym for beginners and advance students alike. The instruction that Kru Mickey and his staff give to us is top notch. You will love Fanny. And if you want to spar, you will do plenty of it...especially in the morning classes ran by Kru Rob. Muay Thai has been a stress reliever for me and I will continue to train at Heart & Pride for a while...The question I have for the person that's reading this review is this: "What are you waiting for?!"

I've always wanted to try Muay Thai, so I was stoked when I found out about this gym. Their introduction class was fun and informative, and I was immediately hooked. Everyone is always welcoming and helpful. It's a good mix of people with different martial arts backgrounds, from no experience to several years in various disciplines, all there to learn and push each other. The instructors are really good at catering to each student's individual needs even in larger classes. I always get a good workout in. I also appreciate the variety of class times offered throughout each week to accommodate everyone's hectic schedules. They even offer classes for kids.

Hands down one of the cleanest and friendliest environments I have ever trained at from Chicago to Los Angeles. They even executed a very organized Seminar with Saenchai and Yokkao fighters. This is what enables my Love for Muay Thai to continue growing.... gyms like this. I only wish I lived closer to be able to join this Family!

I went by the gym to join a seminar they were holding and the very first thing I noticed was how friendly and inviting they all were. After the seminar I spoke with some of the people who regularly train there and loved the good vibes and energy they gave off. Definitely a place to train if you're in the area!

First time coming in to workout and it was a blast. I was taught the basics quickly before jumping in and doing combo exercises. Coming from a martial arts background, the workout was great and made me truly workout a sweat. I am excited to continue perfecting the basics and learning more from the instructors!

I love this Gym. The instructors are top notch here. They take the time to teach you and always make you feel like your family. Fanny, Jess, and Mickey are the best. I never feel like I waste time coming to my lessons, I learn something from every class. If your looking for a place to get in shape, or a place to learn discipline and self defense Heart and Pride is the place to be.

Although I was from out of town and unable to sign up long term, H&P Muay Thai still allowed me to train in a free class as advertised instead of charging a drop-in rate. The class had a good balance of technique & cardio training - I definitely got the work out I needed. The instructor was friendly and very accommodating and I felt welcomed despite being from another gym. I would definitely visit again when I'm in the area.

This place is amazing! The gym is big and clean, every instructors are awesome! They pay attention to every students and adjust the moves when they are not done right. You can even come prior to class time and start training if you want. Gym is open. All the students work really hard too, which makes a very good learning environment. I would recommend this place to every one who wants to train or learn Muay Thai!

I'm visiting from NYC for the holidays and needed a real Muay Thai gym to train at while I was on vacation. I was referred by a friend and spoke to a very friendly woman named Fanny on the phone. She was very nice and told me the schedule and to come in and check out the adult classes. I was greeted by Kru Mickey who was expecting my arrival, right away I felt welcomed and not intimidated at all. I've noticed in the past some gyms can be a bit intimidating when you're a stranger, but not here!

The class was a great work out and we got to work on a lot of technique. He even let me stay to watch the fighters spar. I definitely will be back again and encourage anyone interested in learning Muay Thai to check this place out!

Thank you again Heart and Pride for making me feel welcome!

My husband, two boys, and I have been training at Heart & Pride for over a year. We absolutely love this place. The instructors are amazing. They push you and encourage you to do better. They truly want to see the students develop and improve.
They are great with the kids as well. My boys love training and do not like missing class. Sometimes my little one doesn't want to leave even if his class is done. πŸ˜€

If you are looking for a place to workout where you will be pushed, encouraged, respected, and be surrounded by wonderful people this is the place!!!

Heart and Pride Muay Thai is an excellent gym. The atmosphere is very welcoming. When people come to train all egos get left at the door. Doesn't matter if your a first timer or been attending for a year everybody works together and encourages one another to push hard. The instructors do a great job of moving around the room to give each student some time for coaching during drills. The instructors are also very understanding when it comes to beginners. They aren't overzealous and won't ask you to go from 0-100mph on the first day like many combat gyms do. The quality of instructors is very apparent in the children's class. They start as young as 5years old and the patience these instructors show is awesome. They even make conditioning fun for the little ones. My daughter loves going to class and just adores her instructors. In the few months she's been attending she has made such great progress. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or expert, child or adult if you want to train this is one gym where you'll fit right in from day one.

Started my Muay Thai journey at the beginning of the year and looks like I came to just the right place. From the start, the staff, instructors, and peers have been very friendly, supportive, and kind. Though Ive only been here a month, I find myself wanting to attend every class and learn as much as possible. The training here will definitely push you to your individual limits - even more if you put everything you've got into it.The gym is always kept clean, the classes are the perfect size, and there is a small shop where you can purchase gear from if needed (1-time membership fee does include gym shirt, Thai shorts, and boxing gloves to get you started). If you're looking to learn Muay Thai to have fun, to get in shape, or to get into the ring, this place will be able to get you to your goal.

I had never thought of learning a martial art in my life. I just stopped by to check this place for my 7 year old. There was a class going on and we were so impressed up that we both signed up right away. We have been practicing Muay Thai at Heart & Pride for around an year now and simply love the training atmosphere at this gym. Experienced and knowledgeable instructors teach you Muay Thai in a control environment. I would highly recommend HPMT if you want to learn self defence or simply want to maintain your fitness and strength or see yourself fighting in the ring in future.

Here's a breakdown for those of you that don't want to read a lengthy review:

- Great value for the monthly membership
- Great trainers that push you, but don't make you feel like (expletive).
- Great members that train w/ you & encourage you
- Big, clean gym w/ plenty of equipment
- A gym that actually makes you WORK OUT (no sitting around, waiting, making excuses, etc.)

There were 3 criteria I wanted my new gym to address: location, culture, & value.

LOCATION - I had seen Heart & Pride (H&P) Muay Thai plenty of times since we had moved into our house last year. It's less than 2 miles away, & right across the street from the gas station that I frequent. A friend of mine that trains in Muay Thai down in SD advised me to check out a few gyms to see what was out there. I knew this gym would be the 1st. Location, check.

CULTURE - Definitely wasn't going to join a gym that was full of "BROs" overdosed on testosterone & looking to prove how badass they are. At the same time, I wasn't looking for a place that would coddle me & tell me how awesome I am when I'm not. I just wanted a place that would push me to be better w/o making me feel like an idiot. When I walked into the gym for the 1st time, I was immediately greeted by 1 of the trainers, Fanny, & I observed a class. I noticed that everyone was really respectful of each other. They were all getting settled in, & there seemed to be a genuine camaraderie not only among the members, but instructors as well. As far as class went, the main instructor, Kru Mickey, displayed his leadership skills as well as his technical prowess throughout the 1-hour session. I was very impressed. He pushed hard & critiqued when necessary, but balanced it by praising good work. After class, some of the members even came over, introduced themselves & shared their experiences w/ me. Each spoke of how they enjoyed training, which encouraged me even more. Before leaving, I spoke w/ Kru Mickey & Fanny about the schedule & pricing, & they advised me to take a free intro class the next day. I came back & Fanny taught me a few basic moves. It was a good little workout, & I had fun. After the workout, Kru Mickey, Fanny, & another instructor, Danny emphasized to me the importance of checking egos at the door & understanding the difference in skill levels that each member has. Everyone realizes that they all started as a beginner, & there's still plenty to learn, no matter how long we've trained. That kind of humble attitude is what I was looking for, & it's present throughout the gym, from the top to the bottom. Gym culture, check.

VALUE - This isn't 24 Hour Fitness, or LA Fitness, or other gym chain that offers use of their facilities for $10-$30 a month. The monthly membership dues for H&P, or any Muay Thai gym for that matter, is significantly more. But this is where value comes into play. There's a reason I use the term "value" rather than "price". Price is objective. $10 is $10. No way around that. But VALUE is subjective, defined by worth. Yes, the monthly membership is substantially more, but is it WORTH the extra money you're paying? For me, it's an absolute YES. Sure I could be paying $30/month at 24, but it's basically throwing my money away. I rarely used my membership, & even when I did, it wasn't much of a workout. At H&P, you have to pay a 1-time membership fee (for your gym shirt, Thai shorts, boxing gloves), but with your monthly dues you get unlimited classes. Paying that much motivates me to take every class possible. At H&P, you TRAIN. You work your butt off & you see results. I feel healthier, stronger. I've lost a little weight & my clothes are looser. My knee isn't bothering me anymore. Four months in, I'm still going strong, and feeling better and better.

Heart & Pride...how do YOU train?! Come check it out!

If you're looking for a great workout and looking to learn Muay Thai, than this is the place for you. I've been here for over a year now and have learned so much along with losing inches around my waist :D The instructors and owner have many years of experience and is very detailed in explaining how to perform each technique and why we do it "this way." They also allow us time to work on and ask questions about each technique we go over as well. Aside from adult Muay Thai classes, there is also classes for kids as well :) The instructors are extremely patient and work well with the children to ensure that they understand how to perform the technique and why it is being done that way.

They also offer a boot camp class that focuses on strength for those who are looking for a more intense workout. The instructor, Teddy is also very detailed with instructions before he allows us to perform any technique to ensure they we do not hurt ourselves doing them along the way.

oh, and their prices are reasonable which is definitely a plus in my book! :)
