I absolutely love this Pilates studio. The space itself is so chic, calming, and healing — the kind of place where you instantly feel better just walking in. Every instructor is incredibly talented, welcoming, and genuinely invested in your growth. The classes are challenging in the best way, and the energy in the studio is truly a vibe.

I leave every session feeling stronger, grounded, and grateful to have found a studio that cares about both the experience and the people. Truly an exceptional place.

Be very careful in giving your credit card to this company as other reviews before mine have shared. The response from Helios is a lie. They didn't say they suspended Yankee candles until 4-5 emails after I asked them to refund me. I used 1 of 8 classes, the second one is where I spoke with the owner and had to leave. The disrespect is evident. AVOID. There is no place to cancel your membership on the portal, you have to send and email as another review already covered. I came to this studio, brought my sister and my boyfriend and decided to buy a $175/ month membership to give it a solid shot for 3 months. To my surprise, after over 1 month of attending, they started burning Yankee Candles with synthetic fragrance during class inside the studio. I brought it up to the teacher after class and asked her to kindly let me know if this would be the norm so I could cancel my membership, since I have severe allergies. I never heard back. I got a migraine after class. After a few days I went to give it another try thinking maybe that was just a weird day, but unfortunately as soon as I walked in, the entire place was filled with Yankee candle stench. I brought it up to the teacher ( a different one) and she said the candle could be put out anytime I came, which doesn't help if the space is already filled with it. That same day I was able to speak with the owner who said she would take care of my membership if I wrote my name on a card. I didn't hear back until I got a charge saying I was a no show for the class I couldn't take due to the horrible toxic environment. (sorry if anyone reading this likes Yankee candles). I emailed asking for the refund I had discussed and they refunded my "no show" charge and cancelled my membership but refused to refund me for the classes I was not able to take. I had used 1 class out of 8 from my membership. The attitude was that they were doing me a favor to cancel my membership since I was on month 2 of my 3 month commitment, even though my reason for cancelling was due to their practices. It's amazing to me the level of gaslighting on the business end of this studio. Now I will need to file a chargeback with my bank which is so unfortunate.

Been trying to contact for weeks though phone call & email to cancel my membership since it is not possible to do through the website because it crashes ( how convenient) well i’ve had no luck and today my card was billed again after months of me not being able to attend. Since i’ve had no luck getting a hold of anyone i’ll have to pay a visit to the studio even though o don’t live near the are anymore how upsetting and inconvenient for the client it is to not be able to reach anyone over the phone for dayyyys, management do better !

I travel to SD monthly from Chicago and absolutely love going to Helios when I’m here. Instructors are great, thorough, kind and inclusive. It’s always a fantastic workout! I really wish there was a similar Pilates studio in Chicago.

I am 58 years old. This high intensity, low impact Pilates is my all-time favorite "see and feel the results" work-out. The vibe at Helios is chic, upscale, and congenial. The equipment is premium. The instructors are knowledgeable, cheerful, and. personable. First-rate experience every time.

I just moved to San Diego a couple weeks ago. It's been hard finding my footing and making new friends. Starting my fitness journey at Helios has not only boosted my confidence and mental health, but it's also introduced me to a fantastic group of people I'm blessed to call my friends. I particularly enjoy the Thursday morning classes hosted by Nina. The days I start without her are not nearly as productive or meaningful. If you feel lost and are looking for somewhere to find yourself, Helios is the place to begin. Namaste.

I was searching for a pilates studio closer to my house and didn't try this one because the posted google pics show the basic reformer.

a few wks later a friend told me that he goes here and they actually have the Xformer!!

Love the way they gave us options to make it harder or standard w each exercise. This morning woke up sore from the workout last night. Definitely worth trying if you like workouts w results.

I also love they have class options until 7p and a few more classes on Sat & Sunday than other studios!

I just might be hooked :)

I didn’t expect to enjoy Pilates as much as I have, but Haley’s classes at Helios changed that. As a guy new to Pilates, I appreciated how approachable and well-structured the sessions were. Haley’s focus on form and ability to adjust for different fitness levels made the workouts challenging and rewarding.

If you’re considering Pilates, I highly recommend trying a class with Haley. It’s been a great addition to my fitness routine.

This studio is absolutely gorgeous. Super clean and friendly. Easy parking on the street or in lots across the studio. Instructor explain each transition and level options each time in a slow pace and everyone was on point. BEST Pilates studio in SD. Period!
