I had a personal training session with Stephen and it was a total game changer. I've been lifting on my own and following an online program for a bit over a year now, but this session seriously leveled things up.

Stephen showed me a bunch of smart tweaks and techniques that helped me get way more out of the exercises I already do. He explained everything super clearly and made it all easy to understand.

The workout itself was one of the toughest I’ve had in a while, but it still felt fun and totally doable. I left feeling stronger, more confident, and way more motivated. The gym itself also had such a great vibe—clean, well-equipped, and full of friendly, welcoming people.

Signing up to train at Hideout Fitness was one of the best decisions I’ve made for my physical health in a long time. I signed up for my 9th half-marathon but I knew I needed help this time around to get my body ready.

My trainer Stephen was able to quickly identify my physical strengths and weaknesses and developed a program for me to be able to lose weight and gain the muscle needed to be able to run my half-marathon without injury. Stephen has a wealth of fitness knowledge and experience and he explained the scientific reasoning behind each of my exercises. He was also able to recommend good foods to eat while on my specific diet. Thanks to his help, I’ve got confidence back in my body’s ability to physically perform for a half-marathon.

I can sum up my experience at Hideout with one story. I was in the middle of my workout when I noticed that another Hideout client was attempting a heavy deadlift. The Hideout trainers in the immediate vicinity took a moment to stop what they were doing and cheered the client on to complete the deadlift. All the Hideout trainers want each and every client to perform their best, regardless if they’re your personal trainer or not.

Hideout is a clean and safe space for anyone to work with a trainer to crush their fitness goals. Thanks to Hideout, I’m back on track to having a great relationship with my physical fitness journey. Thank you Stephen and thank you Hideout Fitness!

I didn't know anything about the gym equipment, and it was the first time I worked with a trainer. What I love about working with Chay is that she is knowledgeable - from muscle groups and what exercises impact what areas to correct form and how and when to adjust your routine. She helped me get familiar with the different gym equipment we use, and she is great at explaining the exercises we are doing and why. That said, my partner convinced me to check out Hideout, and I couldn't be happier that I did. From our very first consultation, I could tell the staff care very deeply about fitness, and have the knowledge and backgrounds to back that up.

They were immediately interested in laying out our fitness goals both short and long term, and then offered a free session wherein they assessed our problem areas and recommended unique corrective exercises to overcome them.

Once properly on our workout program, we both received individualized routines, recommendations for daily nutrition macros, water intake, as well as detailed readouts of our current body makeup; all easily tracked in their app.

I’m not really sure how else I can describe Hideout Fitness— great, life changing, and fun don’t really cut it for me, just because I think it’s deserving of better words, but it’ll have to do.

Started back in August when I decided I wanted to get back into working out. Hideout popped up and on its face, had the convenience of being a very local gym, as well as having the guidance of a professionals, which was important to me as I was coming off of a previous MCL tear.

Spoke to Jacob who was very thorough and professional in asking me what my goals were and what incremental steps we could take to work towards my end goal, and definitely showed a professionalism and determination to help me accomplish them. After reviewing, he matched me with Stephen R. as my trainer, who has been nothing but great over the last few months.

Stephen worked slowly but thoroughly in the beginning to establish my baseline, and has pushed me to grow in overall strength, while maintaining great form, mobility, and targeting muscle groups that I definitely neglected in the past. Since August, now in December, I am pretty much back at the peak of where I was at in terms of strength/numbers before my knee injury, and I can confidently say that I feel like I'm growing stronger every week.

Stephen's great because he always knows where you're at in terms of strength, knows to push you when maybe you yourself don't believe/doubt you have that extra rep or two in the tank, but also knows that "life comes first" and that the workouts should compliment/account for what you do in your daily life. Whether it be accounting for something like a hike or trip you have planned, nothing is aimed to restrict, but rather to accommodate and account for what ways would be most beneficial towards the goals established early on.

I can confidently say I'm a satisfied customer of Hideout and encourage others to give it a shot. I had initially thought I was going to be going for a three month stint only, but I'm pretty happy with the program thus far and want to see where I can get to in the future.

Sarah Moss is a wonderful coach, communicator, and motivational cheerleader. My daughter and I have had semi privates with her since early summer. I've been working out with Coach Jacob for the past 4 months and have been impressed with the amount of growth in size and strength since I started. I've been weight lifting for over 10 years following workout programs that I've found online or from friends. I never felt the need to hire a trainer since I thought I did a decent job.

It was only after my wife trained with Coach Jacob for 3 months and strongly suggested that I give it a shot did I decide to sign up. It was eye opening just the first few weeks. He was able to help identify the areas of my body that were weak and need to improve so that I can build a solid foundation. He provided me with stretches to prepare my body for weight lifting and helped dial in the macros that I needed to nourish my body. Most importantly, he helped me correct the form for all the exercises that I was doing improperly for the last decade. Even though I was able to previously push the weights before, I wasn't able to get the maximum benefit from it since my form was incorrect. After properly adjusting my form, I was able to build strength at a much quicker speed than I previously thought was possible.

I was initially only planning to do 3 months, but was so impressed that I signed on for another 3 months. If you are serious about building the body that you want, I would highly recommend Coach Jacob and Hideout Fitness.

A little backstory:
I came to Hideout Fitness as a weight training newbie who had gained a lot of weight over the past year. I was feeling lethargic and emotionally down. I needed to make a change and really wanted to not only lose weight but more importantly, get fit and strong and healthy again and learn how to make working out a part of my everyday lifestyle.

After researching personal trainers, I decided to meet with Jacob who is so empathetic, knowledgeable, and motivating. I decided to do a 1 month/ 3 time a week personal training program with Sarah M, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made.

Sarah is an incredible trainer and a wonderful person. She never made me feel bad about having no idea how to use any of the equipment or even do basic squats (I can do squats now!) and she taught me how to use weight and resistance training to change my body composition, gain energy, and ultimately get fit and be strong. On top of that, she is compassionate, kind, smart, and a fantastic teacher. I can now do exercises I never imagined I could do (barbell hip thrusts, anyone?)

I did end up losing the weight, but at the end of the day, what was more important is that I gained back confidence and strength and I have so much knowledge now about how to keep myself strong and healthy.

Coach Chris is the best. In a world where people dont make adjustments or the trainers word is gospel, Chris is very flexible, and is willing to change your food, workout and anything else just so you get results. You will get results if you follow what he says, and you get the added bonus of him teaching you how to do everything. 10/10 doesnt force me to eat avocado or sweet potato. Highly suggest the trainers for Hideout, you wont be dissapointed!

I have been working with Hideout Fitness for around 6 months now and it has been a great experience. The Coaches here are very friendly, they made me feel comfortable since the second I entered the door. The gym itself is completely outfitted with great equipment, clean and ORGANIZED! Which was a huge plus for me. When it comes to training, I have learned so much about weight training and how to properly utilize my body with weights. I had attempted to work out so many times before coming to Hideout Fitness, but each time I ended up injuring myself. Now since working with Hideout I've learned proper form, and feel so much more confident with working out than before. They also helped with my nutrition A LOT. Completely broke down a nutrition plan for me and showed me how to manage my calories & macros. Ultimately leading me to losing some unwanted weight. I’ve had other trainers in the past and have been working out for years, yet in just the last three months, I’ve seen better results than I’ve ever seen before.
