Booked a class, was overbooked, they still kept the money. Wouldn’t have cared if they at least gave the money back. Great model, take peoples money and don’t provide the service.

Beautiful Yoga studio surrounded by beautiful and not pretentious neighborhood. Customer service at the front desk was great and the instructors are a plus. Classes are fun for different levels. Namaste! I will back!🥰

I could write a book about how great this place is.
Highlights— friendly, professional, helpful, instruction during class is clear and insightful. I never feel judged or indoctrinated—everything is open and simple. Women owned and LGBTQ FRIENDLY!
Clean and they have special air purifiers that make it fresh at all times.
They go above and beyond to help their students. They remember people and are really chill about it. And at the same time their attitude is really approachable and you can tell they’ll help you patiently with anything. People seem really happy to work here and it shows.
They still do donation based yoga on Sunday! Be sure to donate, it goes to charity. I think the instructors are yogis training in their teacher program. The employees asked me what I thought of the teachers but then I got sick and had to stop going. I came back months later and they remembered me!
Best yoga studio in the world! Heehee :)

I’ve done sound baths, events and yoga here. Wonderful community, always clean and smells incredible, and the owners really care about providing a holistically positive experience for all.

The best and most welcoming Yoga studio I've been to in LA. Nicole at the front desk is the nicest person ever, and all the teachers are really solid. I've done like 60+ classes here at this point.
I do miss more classes being on the patio, but I also understand the smaller capacity out there makes it challenging from a business sustainability standpoint.

An amazing yoga studio. I went here at least a few times a week for over a year, before my move. All of the teachers are incredible and the classes offered have a good variety of skill level, type of yoga, and schedule. The terrace and main studio have a lovely desert-y aesthetic, and there is fresh cold water. The management is responsive, kind, on top of it! Such good vibes.

This is an excellent yoga studio.
It is clean, smells great, and has open and inviting spaces.
The front desk staff is always friendly and welcoming.
The quality of the instruction is superb. I can tell the instructors care as opposed to some at other yoga studios who just ‘phone it in.’
Another thing I appreciate is that there are various class types to help you accomplish different objectives.
The monthly rates are also very reasonable, resulting in great value.
You won't find a better place if you live in the area and want to begin yoga or restart your practice.
I will continue to study and practice yoga here for the foreseeable future.

Knowledgeable and high quality teachers in a clean, beautiful studio. I have felt very safe practicing here during the pandemic. All aspects of this space align with concern for and care of public safety: the teachers and students wear masks, class capacity is limited, and medical grade air filters have been installed.

Took a class spontaneously with a friend and it was just the space we needed. Super clean and down to earth just like the people that work there. Love the indoor and outdoor studios. What a wonderful place to find in the community. Highly recommend!

First time doing breathwork it was very powerful. Rabiah made me feel well prepared and comfortable during what otherwise might've been an overwhelming experience. Definitely want to incorporate more breathwork experiences into my life.

I very much enjoyed my first class at Namaste in Highland Park; Intermediate Hatha with Nora. 2nd class today with Sondra and she showed me a great way to work into full Wheel pose so i felt like I advanced today. Parking is 2hrs free on side streets. There are a couple of metered lots fairly close (Google map "parking"). Nice bolsters, blankets, loaner mats, tea, water, and restrooms. Pleasant atmosphere.

I love coming here for class! I go everyday now, and can't recommend it enough to anyone looking for a new studio, or looking to try yoga for the first time. The all levels classes make it easy to do whats best for YOU and your body - and the teachers are awesome at guiding you through different options. They also have free hot tea after each class, and the tea changes every week or so. They support local artists as a gallery space, they do a free community breakfast once a month on their gorgeous back patio & offer lots of workshops. Sometimes the classes can get a little crowded, but that just goes to show you that everyone else loves them too, and that their door is always open to anyone who wants to practice. Thank you Namaste! ☮
UPDATE: just went to the new west adams location and it’s awesome!! so glad to have them on my side of town!

I love this place! I was living in LA temporarily and the manager was really accommodating to help me find the best deal for the time I was here. I particularly like Power Yoga with Hannah Skye and Candlelight Vinyasa with Ryan Lutz. The desk staff is very friendly too.

Instructor Sondra Sun is very specific in allowing participants to align their practice to their own needs. She allows one to go at their own pace. The people who are at class are respectful and non-judgemental. Atmosphere is friendly and the environment clean and without clutter. Allows the mind to focus and the body to follow.

Hello :-)) I love each and every teacher that I took a class with, each unique and authentic. I love the space, unpretentious and down-to-earth. I love the tea after class and water available with glasses. I love the rosemary oil that every teacher gives each and everyone of us at the beginning of savasana. I love coming to Highland Namaste. I have tried couple of other yoga places as I have lived in different parts of LA since I arrived last Summer, so far you are my favorite place. If I move into your neighborhood, I am definitely becoming a member. Thank you for being such a welcoming open unique true place to practice together. Great unique teachers and great unique place. I am a very satisfied student.
Thank you
Gratefully, Anne-Francoise Potterat

Dana's class was so welcoming and nurturing. I appreciated her teaching style, as she was very connected, grounded and aware of the space and each individual. She created a warm, comforting vive and guided the class with very descriptive, texturized vocabulary and gracefully made gentle adjustments/suggestions. I would recommend her class to anyone looking to deepen their practice, or even if they have never taken a yoga class in their life.

It is unique to have a focused class like 'healthy backs.' Sore and injured backs are a fact of life....especially as we age. Offering a class that will help heal, strength and thereby prevent future injuries is a wonderful gift.

The classes, teachers, students & overall energy at Namaste is WONDERFUL. I just love this place, am so happy a friend recommended it to me. I get to go at my own pace & face my own personal challenges, always being encouraged and supported! The package/membership prices are very reasonable, and there are wide variety of classes to choose from, plus some special workshops each month. I can't speak highly enough about this yoga center! Come do the 2 week unlimited trial for $30 and check out all the many classes/teachers & experience it for yourself! I wish I had discovered this place sooner!!

This place is _amazing_ for Yoga. The teachers are incredible. I've done Yoga at a lot of different places, and while it's been nice, no one has ever helped me understand the poses, their intent, and the rationale behind them like these folks.
Their tea on the other hand, well, let's just say they should stick to Yoga. :) If you're going to run a tea shop, you should probably know how to not destroy green tea, understand black tea, etc.
