Hillcrest Kettlebells offers outdoor private, Zoom private, and Zoom group training sessions. Farrah completed the Russian Kettlebell Certification (RKC) in 2009. After that, she was invited to assist the Russian Kettlebell Certification in 2011. Also, she completed StrongFirst SFG kettlebell certification in 2014. As a result of completing these certifications and teaching kettlebells for over twelve years, she’s an expert at training clients at all levels. Farrah has trained all of her clients over these past twelve years and hasn’t hired other trainers to train her clients. Her current clients range from ages 24 to 75. Above all, Farrah provides a non-intimidating environment for clients to safely and effectively train.

I’ve been taking Farrah’s online group classes and supplementing them with in-person private lessons for just over a year now. I LOVE how much stronger these classes have made me - it’s great functional strength for your whole body. Classes are also some pretty intense cardio and definitely get your heartbeat high! Nothing beats the convenience of the live online zoom classes and Farrah does an incredible job of being attentive, safe, and fun during the classes. She’s a detailed and hilarious teacher. Highly recommend for everyone.

I wanted to get toned and feel good when I turned 45. My kids are still kind of small so I need to be able to keep up with them. Farrah is awesome. I met her in the pick up line at my kids school. She is easy to talk to, and more importantly knows her stuff. I had two private kettlebell sessions to get my form down. And now workout with her on zoom. I was skeptical but figured I would give it a try anyway. I’m glad I did. Farah is super interactive during the class, keeps me engaged and I feel extremely comfortable. She can see what I’m doing and helps correct my body (yes, even over zoom). She has several class options and is more than reasonably priced for the individual attention I get! Thanks Farrah! I love feeling like my body is stronger than when I started can’t wait to see where we go!

My all time favorite workout and favorite trainer. Farrah at Hillcrest Kettlebells is great at setting a healthy pace for the class and helping with proper form. She creates a fun environment and is one of the least intimidating and knowledgable trainers I've worked with.

I’ve been training with Farrah for over a year and you won’t find a better trainer. She gives everyone personal attention even during group workouts and she really emphasizes safety. She makes sure you’re not doing anything that can lead to injury or make an existing injury worse. Her workouts are challenging and she accommodates all fitness levels. If you’re a woman who who wants to get strong and finds the weight areas at traditional gyms intimidating, Farrah’s classes are perfect for you.
When gyms had to shut down due to COVID, she got creative and started offering virtual live classes via Zoom. Even on Zoom she’s looking at your form and suggesting modifications and adjustments.
On top of being a great trainer, she’s incredibly kind with a great positive attitude.

I have been training with Farrah and George at Hillcrest Kettlebells for almost 2 years now and I consider it an essential part of my regimen. I have tried many different fitness modalities including weightlifting, running, martial arts, hiking, yoga, pilates, etc. and I find kettlebells to be unique.
From my very first class, which included a thorough evaluation of my form and posture, I noticed that kettlebell exercises highlighted a major deficiency in my technique - moving energy from my lower body through my waist to my upper body. So it not only trains "the core" but facilitates the functional transfer of power throughout the body, not unlike T'ai Ch'i. With Farrah and George's careful attention and guidance, I have made great strides in this area which has significantly benefited all my other training.
If you haven't tried kettlebells yet, do so immediately and Hillcrest Kettlebells is the perfect place to start. If you've dabbled a bit but haven't made a commitment to kettlebell training, take the plunge and sign up for some classes. Farrah and George's knowledge and patience will show you exactly what this type of training can do for your body and mind. And even if you already train regularly, take it to the next level with a couple of great teachers who literally live and breathe kettlebell training.
I give Hillcrest Kettlebells my highest recommendation for safe and effective kettlebell training. You won't be disappointed.

I started working out at Hillcrest Kettlebells just over three years ago. As a former college athlete I was looking for a workout program that combined strength, cardio, and something that was fun and engaging. A coworker suggested that I try Hillcrest Kettlebells and I was instantly into it 100%. The small group classes give you enough one-on-one feedback to correct your form and feel more like personal training sessions than group classes. Farrah and George are truly passionate about fitness, health and overall wellness. They are constantly attending continuing education classes and are active in both Strong First and the RKC Kettlebell communities. My flexibility, strength and conditioning have not been this well developed since I was playing rugby in college. I find kettlebells challenging and a tough workout can be conducted in 30 minutes to an hour. I recently took the one day HKC (Hard Style Kettlebell) certification class and test and I was overly prepared by Farrah and George and passed with flying colors. I highly recommend Hillcrest Kettlebells for anyone who wants a fun, cardio and strength training program.

I was interested in kettlebells but was intimidated in trying something new after not consistently working out for over a year and a half. A friend recommended Hillcrest Kettlebells and after speaking with Farrah I was excited to give it a try. Farrah's personal training is incredibly helpful and she is patient. Group classes are small and friendly. I have lost weight and increased strength. The best part is I have toned my butt and thighs which can be difficult to do with the average gym workout! If your are looking for a full body workout that produces great results in a friendly environment Hillcrest Kettlebells is the place!
