I have been working out with Drea for over 2.5 years now. Started as a newbie pilates student after many years. She has been helping me regain strength, motor control and technique working through my tinnitus and balance situation. I can not say enough about her abilities, her commitment to her clients and her knowledge to bring a work out for her clients specific needs. She will push you to bring yourself to the table, and that is a good thing.

I am new to the world of Pilates and was nervous to try it out in a class setting so finding Drea and being able to do a one-on-one workout with her has been amazing! She listened to all of my body woes (right shoulder pain, weak core, tight lower back) and has helped create a program just for me that is allowing me to work on each issue without causing more pain. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a more personal and tailored Pilates experience than just taking a class!

I have been doing Pilates workouts with Drea for over two years and it has helped me tremendously, both physically and mentally. Recently I began experiencing Vertigo, and Drea has designed a special workout routine for me. This routine enables me to still get all the benefits from doing my Pilates while eliminating any Vertigo reactions. Thank you Drea so very much!!

I've been going to Hilltop Pilates, twice a week for a year now. My doctor recommended pilates to help with age related aches and pains. I love the personalized training, the improvement in my strength and decrease in arthritis pain. I could not be more pleased with the one on one, personalized attention I've receive.

I am happy to recommend my Pilates instructor, Drea Roberts, with whom I’ve had the pleasure of working for over ten years. Whether in private lessons, duo sessions, or online via Zoom, each class has been a transformative and enjoyable experience.
Thanks to Drea’s expert guidance, I’ve been able to manage my low back pain and improve my overall strength and flexibility. She is incredibly attentive, always addressing my specific needs and any injuries, ensuring I get the most out of every session.
Drea’s ability to explain and demonstrate exercises clearly is remarkable. During the Covid years, she seamlessly transitioned to online sessions, and even over Zoom, she keeps a close eye on my form and provides clear instructions. Individual sessions have the added benefit of a mini-myofascial release session delivered by Drea, which I always appreciated. In every session, whether in person or online, I feel safe and supported as she regularly checks in on my comfort level and technique.
I can’t recommend Drea highly enough; her engaging personality, dedication, and expertise make every session enjoyable and effective!

My daughter gifted me a Pilates session at Hilltop Pilates for my birthday in January. I was a bit hesitant to try something new but have found that this type of exercise is perfect for this almost 70 year old! I have been going every week for the past year and feel so much better after my private session with Drea. My hip that bothers me at times and other aches and pains go away after exercises on the reformer. I come away feeling like a new person.

The studio is welcoming and intimate and I really appreciate Drea's expertise and comfortable manner. I am no longer intimated and look forward to my session each week. I feel like a new person.

I have been taking one on one private sessions with Drea for the past 4 months. When I started I was having hip issues and in just about 2 months I have been pain free. Drea listened to my needs and history before setting me on a path to build strength, using care and compassion in her assessment of the right amount of band resistance and strength training exercises. What I love most is that no two sessions have been the same repetitive movements over and over. Drea keeps the workout well paced and intensity level at just the right timing depending upon and in response to how my body is moving each time. Cute private studio, responsive communications and easy booking. I'm loving the results so far.

A good friend of mine recommended Drea to me just over a year ago. I came to her with some hip and back pain, and just looking to feel more fit overall. I can honestly say that I feel so much better since I began taking sessions from Drea. My pain has decreased significantly, and I can feel a sense of stress relief after my sessions. I appreciate the myofascial release work that Drea does towards the end of sessions- definitely a unique touch!

I started working with Drea about 2 years ago when she taught group reformer classes at a local studio in Aptos. I followed her to her own studio at Hilltop PIlates, and now combine my group classes with 1:1 sessions. I've had back issues and tightness for years, and Drea's added stretches and myofascial release work really makes a difference for the week ahead. Drea is personable and knowledgeable, and has a nice setting to unwind for the hour. I highly recommend Drea at Hilltop Pilates."

If you’re like me, “strength and flexibility training” sits on your to-do list perpetually un crossed off. I’m happy to say that Drea has been helping me tackle that goal for a couple months now and I am so grateful to finally be on track. As an ultra distance runner, I frequently turn up to her studio with a laundry list of issues - tight hips, weak glutes, sore quads - you name it. What I love about her practice is that she custom designs sets of exercises to target and improve not just the problem spots but the *source* of them. Drea’s knowledge is vast, her style is warm and encouraging, her space is gorgeous, and I always feel so so much better after our sessions. I actually feel like I’m building a stronger body with her help and I highly recommend giving Hilltop Pilates a try.

I began private pilates sessions at Hilltop Pilates with Drea in September, and I’m already feeling a difference in several areas of weakness throughout my body. I’ve had both knees replaced and have multiple back problems, including scoliosis. Working out semi-weekly with a trainer has and continues to provide me with good overall body health and strength. However, I felt the need to add something more focused on core strength and my weak back. Each week, as Drea leads me through various pilates movements, I can feel a difference in my ability from the previous week. Drea is extremely intuitive, skillful, kind and perceptive. My pilates sessions with her are informative, challenging (in a good way) and fun! The studio is a comfortable space, and the outdoor redwood deck setting, where she’ll be holding classes, is beautiful!

44 year old, 6'4" dude here. Having spent my entire career working bedside in healthcare in a world designed for a 5'3" worker, my posture was abysmal. I am constantly hunching over tending to my patients and developed some pretty gnarly chronic lumbar pain. I tried it all to alleviate my aches: chiropractors, yoga, swimming, weight training, all with minimal success. And then I began working with Drea. After a few months, ALL of the pain I had been experiencing has disappeared! Having never practiced Pilates or worked with the Reformer, in addition to being a clunky guy with zero flexibility, I was pretty skeptical. But Drea quickly alleviated my apprehensions. Her guidance and instruction is spot on. She makes the practice welcoming and approachable, yet is able to provide a legit challenging workout at the same time. The studio itself is comfortable and inviting, and the redwood deck space is stunning. Trust me when I say that you gotta check this place out.

I initially started Pilates when my Physical Therapist suggested it after a knee replacement. I attended a few private sessions in a studio and even though I realized the benefits of Pilates, the instruction/environment was not very inspiring. I researched many studios before I settled on Pilates Two-Six.

I thoroughly recommend the studio as well as the 2 instructors, Kendra and Drea. The studio is located in a private home which is very clean and inviting; the instructors have all the props and everything needed to provide excellent core-strengthening and balance building sessions! I have worked with both Drea and Kendra who are each very knowledgable regarding the Pilates technique, as well as creative in adjusting the exercises to fit one's needs; they are good listeners and very adaptable.

Even though I sometimes feel resistance to showing up, I always leave the sessions feeling more present, stronger and experiencing a greater sense of well-being. I also appreciate Drea's massage at the end of the sessions, when I may feel the need to release tension in my back, neck, legs, feet, etc.; her finishing touches are wonderful!

Pilates Two-Six offers sessions at an amazing affordable rate; the introductory session is also less expensive than the on-going rate. I feel that both instructors really believe in Pilates and give of themselves in a way that is very professional, dedicated, and inspiring.

I would like to suggest that Pilates is a very practical gift for oneself or
another; and participating in a series of sessions at Pilates Two-Six would make a very rewarding New Year's Resolution!

Pilates Two-Six is perfect for me. I appreciate that it’s totally private and 1:1. It’s easier for me to work out comfortably, and I’m never self-conscious or distracted like I’ve felt in larger gyms or studios.

I love the 1:1 attention. I need to work around physical limitations with my knees/joints, strengthen my body and it’s hard for me to do general workouts. Drea is intuitive and super skilled at giving me a customized, focused session that fits my energy and body needs that day. I’d always wanted to try the reformer and all the Pilates “props” – she has them all and utilizes them well to help me get stronger, more flexible and balanced.

The privacy, 1:1 attention and intuitive workouts have helped me stick with it. I feel the changes in my body, and it’s helped my overall health. This is an important investment in my body, mind and soul -- and Pilates Two-Six is the ideal place for me. Thank you Drea!

I found Pilates Two-Six by happy accident and four years in, I still feel so lucky. Drea is a gentle powerhouse- exactly what I want and need in a teacher. She knows exactly what she is doing and pushes me to do my best, especially when I don't think I can. In the first year I lost weight but most importantly i gained strength and muscle tone. Actually, my body completely changed in about 3 months. I love my sessions with Drea and I always leave feeling stronger and better. I highly recommend Drea as a skilled, professional, effective, and FUN teacher!

I've been seeing Drea twice a week for the last four months. After having two babies, I was too busy to be concerned with getting back in shape immediately. Drea does a great job of pushing me, but works within my limits (complications from childbirth). She helps me feel at ease, and her home studio is a comfortable setting. I'm always surprised at how much I can feel the difference for the next couple days after our sessions. I'm feeling stronger, my back isn't sore, and I am slowly getting my pre-baby body back. I highly recommend Pilates Two-Six!

I've wanted to try Pilates forever, I KNEW it was a great exercise to strengthen the all important core and even redefine muscles. All the fit people I know raved about it. But I am SO not a person to go to a large class at a gym and as a "not-so-fit-person" I was self conscious to try something new. Drea's studio- Pilates Two-Six was great. Pilates Two-Six is a private studio offering personal pilates training. I was able to get the personal instruction I needed and really understand and FEEL the benefits. In a private setting. While I'm new- I know experienced Pilates folks would love this too as Drea clearly knows her stuff and can adjust the session to each person she works with. Only 1-2 people at a time. Next time I'll bring my BFF!

Drea is awesome! After having babies and loosing my core essentially, (yes all you moms know what I'm talking about) I am feeling strong. The techniques she uses are simple, do-able, and effective for me which is super important as a busy person.
The studio is private which leaves me feeling less intimidated as I'm really out of shape and don't enjoy busy gyms.
The studio is new but her experience is vast and shows in her teachings.
Go see her. Get strong and get in shape!
