Welcome to HIT FIT SF in the Mission district of SF! We are a world class boxing gym with the best qualified trainers in the city offering group Boxing and HIIT Classes, Private Boxing Coaching, Morning Boot Camps, Personal Training, Nutrition Plans and fighter training and conditioning for weekend warriors and pros alike.
Located right in the heart of the city and offering over 160 Boxing / HIIT classes a month, our 5000 square feet playground also features a ring, heavy-bags, speed bags, weights, bikes, rowers, med balls and kettle bells and pristine changing rooms.
Oh....and a friendly team of local bad asses (staff and members alike!)

Highly recommend Andrea’s HITT class! I was visiting from New York and found this on Classpass, and it was one of the best HITT classes I’ve ever taken. Andreas energy is unmatched and her workout was super fun and perfectly challenging. 10/10!!

*Update*
I moved from the neighborhood and figured I’d join a new gym near my new place. I tried. It wasn’t the same. The community wasn’t the same. The camaraderie wasn’t the same. And the instruction wasn’t even close. So, I came back and deal with the commute. I can’t come as often as when I was 2 blocks away, but maintaining the membership is well worth it!
I moved to SF from NYC really trying to level up my boxing game. Luckily for me, I was a short walk from Hit Fit and after trying other gyms in the city, I came here and never left. The first person I met was Cole and he welcomed me to the club with open arms and immediately helped me feel at home, which for a boxing gym especially, is of utmost importance. All the instructors are friendly and motivating and work with you to help you meet your goals. It’s a great community here and I’m happy to be a part of it 🥊

I don't like posting bad reviews on small local businesses, so I decided to revise my review.
Punctual and professional is what I expected; when I spoke on the non-punctuality. Dude blew me off, he was so dismissive. The guy(ROB) told me "BEST WISHES on finding a new trainer" a man that couldn't accept constructive criticism from a client; a female might I add.
I found somewhere that charges the same price and offers more classes throughout the week. Hit Fit does offer an exercise class in the evening that will most definitely keep you in shape. I see them taking a few laps around the block. Shout out to the guy with the foreign accent (owner/manager) he is an absolute great trainer!

Hit Fit offers both boxing and HIIT; I’ve been doing the HIIT class at Hit Fit for over a year now. It’s a great gym - and both the HIIT trainers (Wayne and Jalen) are absolutely amazing!
Wayne’s very high-energy - his classes reflect that. Jalen’s a cool instructor, his HIIT class is a little different from Wayne’s given his background as a boxer. Both classes are really fun - they’re a mix of strength and conditioning.
Even with big class sizes (up to ~25 students) both Jalen and Wayne ensure personal attention to their students. I’d highly recommend Hit Fit to anyone looking to get into either HIIT or boxing.

Hands down the cleanest, most comfortable and accessible boxing gyms I’ve ever trained in. Staff is super supportive and the facilities top notch. Plus you can learn from true practitioners. I have been a customer for over a decade and it’s my favorite class in SF
Unlike the bigger chains, these classes are very consistent, Simon runs a tight shop.
There is enough variety within a session in terms of equipment, cardio vs strength and ensuring you get a whole body experience
Most importantly I am able to push myself to my limits, which is saying a lot given this type of workout is my sweet spot for cardio conditioning

I took a couple months of group boxing classes from an intro offer and also a 10-pack private boxing class with Cole. I appreciated how focused Cole was on having me learn good form. Pairing up in classes is fun and a great way to feel community in your workout. It’s also just a really great cardio workout.
The booking system they use can be confusing for renewing subscriptions but the staff is happy to help via email.

This boxing gym is amazing, the way in that they teach is incredible because they have clases for any type of boxing fans, beginners, intermediates and advanced students. I started with one of the beginners class with coach Cole Blankenship and I learned a lot in the first class with him and since then I realized that I had it to buy the membership, the way in that he teaches, makes everything easy to understand.

I think what sets HitFit apart from other boxing gyms is that not only does it have fantastic instructors, it has a very active and welcoming community no matter how experienced a practitioner is. Huge shout out to Cole B. who, after a few sessions, figured out what I needed to progress and improve. He really took the time to try different methods and tactics to reintroduce and hone the basics, which embarrassingly enough after years of boxing, had some significant deficiencies. I highly recommend that if you are looking to learn the skill of boxing to try out HitFit… the workouts are great too!

I've been a member for 3+ years. What started as trying out HIIT classes has grown into a full-blown boxing obsession. I used to think boxing wasn't for people like me--a late 30s mom--but HIT Fit completely changed that perception. It's a sport for everyone, and this gym proves it daily.
What makes HIT Fit stand out is its inclusive, supportive community. You'll see total beginners training alongside seasoned pros, and everyone is cheered on just the same. Whether you're new to fitness or getting back into it, you'll feel right at home.
The trainers are truly top-notch. Here are the folks I work with most frequently:
* Rafael's Saturday intermediate class is non-negotiable. The playlists, the energy, the personal attention--chef's kiss.
* Willie's Tuesday/Thursday intermediate class will kick your butt in the best way possible. His combos are challenging, his positivity is infectious, and the end-of-class conditioning? Brutal but you'll leave smiling.
* Cole teaches a beginner class and the occasional Sunday morning session as well. One of the things I appreciate about Cole’s instruction is the calm way he talks through breathing and punches during warmups and bag work. I really connect with his reminders to move my body, consider my punches, and work with precision.
* Coach Jalen (aka Juice Mane) has another challenging class, has given me invaluable feedback on my form, always making time for 1:1 pointers. He has great energy and is so encouraging!
* Simon, the owner, brings serious community vibes. He learns every member's name and isn't shy about calling you out mid-class if you're slacking! You'll love it, I promise.
Recently, the gym got a major upgrade--new bags, a small ring, refreshed weights and training areas. Plus, the class programming and scheduling now offer something for every level.
Pro-tip: Don't skip the beginner classes. They'll help you get the rhythm and confidence before diving into intermediate. Nothing wrong with taking a few of them! Ask for help and feedback, have an open mind to trying something new. I learn so much from partnering with folks at different levels. And if you connect with a trainer, book a 1:1 session--it's worth it to get specialized feedback and training. I now work weekly with Coach Rachelle. Her coaching has been instrumental in helping me refine my skills and stamina. She’s like a friggin hawk when it comes to form and consistency.

If you are interested in boxing classes, Cole is great. He’s been in the game for some time and doesn’t overwhelm you with too much information. As someone who has been boxing for a few years, I finally feel as if I've really upped my overall skill here at Hit Fit. The boxing classes help improve your cardio and refine your technique. For example, in Jalen's classes, there is a lot of emphasis on the fundamentals to make sure that you have the necessary building blocks to progress.
I especially appreciate working with Willie Shaw, whose professional boxing experience has really helped me grow as a boxer. In his classes and personal training sessions, it's never a dull moment because you're either laughing with him or mildly cursing (but in a positive way) him while struggling to master the "judos" he loves so much.

Will’s style of teaching is thorough and practical—and you can tell he genuinely loves what he does. Hit Fit is a wonderful neighborhood gym and fitness community. The "Hiit Fit" classes are an amazing way to build strength and conditioning. I started the year pretty out of shape and determined to get back on track. Going to the Hiit Fit class even just 2x a week has made a huge difference in my vitals and body composition. The structure is accessible and the class leader (the one I go to is led by Wayne) super motivating and supportive. It's a fun environment and an effective way to achieve fitness right in the neighborhood. I'm not as familiar with the real boxing element of the gym, but it seems to be a popular place for the sport and culture of boxing. Now with the newly remodeled gym, Simon and crew have really created something special!

I completed the Boxing bootcamp in April 2024. Simon and Angela were amazing instructors. Simon made learning new techniques and combinations fun and easy. Angela brought the pain. (In a good and challenging way) They were attentive to your progress and pushed you when you needed it. I enjoyed every minute of it. The gym culture is friendly and inviting but still puts you to work! I definitely felt the difference in my cardio, conditioning and technique by the end. If you're on the fence I would highly recommend it! It's and excellent experience.

I LOVE this gym. I’ve been a HITFIT member for almost three years now, and the community I’ve built is far beyond what I can describe with words. There are two locations, one in the Mission and one in Nob Hill. Both are amazing and I love both equally. The instructors, the quality of the classes, and the environment are what keeps me coming back. Even on bad days, my mood is lifted after taking a class. Rebecca, the wonderful human that works the front desk, makes my day EVERYDAY. She is AMAZING and makes me feel soooo welcomed. This place has a nice balance of size for the workouts that give it a good feel when running stations but not to cramped. The whole staff has a great interaction with people and warm environment. Some Trainor's like Angela really bring a good energy to a standard HIIT+TRX session, she's encourages the class by also pushing them with showing them off Instagram stories daily. Some other male Trainor's are also great, every one brings their own style and experience to the class that gets everyone working on something that's weak before you have time to complain about it. I recommend for all levels of fitness.

Out of all the gyms in San Francisco that i have bin to, this is one of the last gyms with true boxing value. They have a ring all the boxing equipment one can need and an excellent and supportive staff. No other instructor is worth waking up mad early, getting in my car, and driving to a workout class that is no where near my neighborhood...except for Nia. She’s inspiring, fun, and energetic. I train primarily with Troy King and have had great results! He pushes you hard while being a great motivator and can find your skills and hone them in. Never in my life did I think I’d like something like HitFit. The workouts make Barry’s and SoulCycle look like a nursery playground. The exercises are intense and really push you. And on top of it all I’m a runner so I’m definitely not built for this.
But the trainers are really incredible. Great coaches, lots of variety of workouts. I’ve been going to Angela’s classes for months and am hooked. I’m a coach out of this gym and have been for about 4 years. I am so happy to be a part of HIT Fit. The coach’s and staff are very friendly and extremely experienced in what they do. They have a wide variety of classes that of course welcome all skill levels. Aside from that the gym offers great amenities like towel services, bathrooms with showers equipped with shampoo, soap and other toiletries should you not have any. There is also plenty of street parking around the gym (of course it is San Francisco so give yourself a little time to find a spot, but there is a lot). I recommend HIT Fit to all my friends and family!

As I was strolling through San Francisco on my day off I thought to myself, I need to learn how to defend myself, but how??? Looked for a boxing gym on google and boy I was in luck. Hit fit was less than a 5 minute walk away. So I hurried in and was amazed with what I saw. I absolutely loved it. I was greeted by a gentleman named Cole. Very funny and helpful individual. I had so many questions and cole was able to give me a straight forward honest answer for each question. With that being said, I will be starting my training next week and can’t wait! Thanks hit fit! Super excited!
