I’m wrapping up my two-week trial at Home Studio Atwater Village and wanted to share how much I enjoyed the experience. Every class I took was fantastic, and the instructors were all top-notch.
This was my first time returning to a yoga studio in seven years. I usually practice Pilates and yoga on my own, but I really missed the energy of group classes — and this studio was the perfect place to come back.
Bobby’s 90-minute Bikram-style class was a total body awakening. At one point I felt like I couldn’t take the heat and wanted to step out, but Bobby encouraged me to stay, handed me a coconut water, and reminded me to breathe. I did, and I made it through the whole class feeling proud and grounded.
Victoria’s classes are killer — in the best way! Her mat sculpt Pilates sessions find muscles you didn’t know existed and make them sore (in that satisfying way) for days.
Maddison’s vinyasa is such a lovely way to start the morning. She guides you thoughtfully through each pose, and her voice is so calming and soothing.
David Aparicio quickly became my favorite — his classes are high-energy, dynamic, and fun, blending Pilates, cardio, and flow in a way that pushes you while keeping the vibe upbeat and supportive.
Overall, I loved the atmosphere here. It’s not a pretentious LA studio — it feels like a genuine community hub, with a great mix of Atwater Village locals of all ages and backgrounds.
My only feedback is that the cleanliness could be improved. The flooring is porous and tricky to sanitize, and I didn’t notice much quick cleaning or air refreshing between classes. The props are cleaned with vinegar — which I know has natural antibacterial properties — but it isn’t a full disinfectant, and in a hot yoga space where everyone’s sweating, that matters. I think a bit more attention to cleanliness and freshness would take the experience from great to excellent.
That said, I truly appreciate the warmth, kindness, and energy of everyone at Home Studio. I plan to check out a few other local studios before choosing a long-term spot, but I’ll definitely be back.
Thank you, Home Studio, for such a rejuvenating and welcoming return to group classes!

Full disclosure, I am a teacher here. BUT I am also a seasoned yoga practitioner who has been to studios all over the place for almost 20 years. Home Studio is truly a home, free of pretense and any crazy. It’s all about the yoga here, with a great community! I love taking class here as much as I love teaching here. Plus there’s an amazing cold plunge out back!

This yoga spot has fantastic instructors and an incredible community vibe. An inclusive, very welcoming group of staff and yogis. The cold plunge in the shower area is sweet, I’m also a fan of their schedule, lots of different classes to chose from.

I love this place so much! I've been coming here for a while now, and the only way I'll stop is if I move out of LA. No need to look at the schedule-- every teacher here is top-notch and has their own wisdom to impart. Bobby, the teachers, and the other students have all worked together to foster a truly inclusive community that has significantly enriched my physical and mental well-being.

Every session is thoughtfully led. Be ready to sweat out all the toxins—you’ll leave feeling refreshed, empowered, and already looking forward to your next class. It’s a consistently great experience that I can’t recommend enough!

Best yoga studio in town!!’
The culture and community of this yoga studio is phenomenal friendly welcoming faces. The classes are plentiful and diverse 90 and 60 minute classes, people! And the cherry on top of this amazing studio is the cold plunge in the back along with full bathroom facilities. I’m very picky about my yoga studios and usually can’t find a good fit and this is one of very few that feels like home. Thank you Bobby!

This has been my home away from home for many years now. Each and every instructor has a unique magical way of teaching! Beware it’s addictive in the best way haha. I mainly stick to hot yoga bik style but dip into other classes here and there. Victorias hot Pilates is a next level, fun, intense class that will have you wanting more. Bobby , David ,Eva , Sylvia, Diella, Flora, Anissa, Jupiter, Karyn, Delfani, and the rest of the team have a gift that blend different styles to make the experience mesh in the best way no matter which time or day you go you will feel more comfortable and confident when you step out of class. Great place for pros or beginners. If you are hesitant to go DONT BE. Do yourself a favor and JUST DO IT. Your mind and body will thank you. This is a place where nobody judges you. That’s why it’s Home hot yoga :)
Thank you guys so much for being here.
Much love,
🖤

This is the best yoga studio franchise in Los Angeles. The practitioners are highly skilled, genuine, compassionate, and strive to bring out the best in you each and every class.
It truly feels like home and is a safe space where you will feel nurtured, supported, loved, and comfortable as you deepen your yoga practice both on and off the mat.
I especially love the diverse class schedule and offerings, affordable rate, nearby complimentary parking, and onsite amenities.
The studio offers cold plunging as one of the membership perks, at no additional cost, and doing plunges has been transformative and healing for me.
Additionally, if you are into hot pilates or curious, this studio has several diverse and impactful options that range from old school pilates to hot inferno. All of which will challenge, sculpt, strengthen, and transform you with regular practice.
There are also workshops and intensives offered that focus on specific techniques and healing during solstice, new moons, etc that are uplifting, enriching, and great for energetic release and renewal.
Finally, it is an inclusive environment and I cannot stress enough how the vibes will uplift you and contribute to your physical, mental, and spiritual healing and well being.
Highly Recommend. 20/10

I’ve been coming to Home Studio for 13 years, and it’s hands down the best. The Bikram classes are amazing, but what really sets this place apart is the welcoming, down-to-earth vibe you won’t find at fancier (and pricier) studios. Bobby, the owner, is an exceptional teacher and person, and one of the biggest reasons I keep coming back. The variety of classes keeps things fresh and fun. Home Studio truly feels like a second home, and I’ll keep coming back for as long as it’s here.

I have been practicing original hot yoga at this studio for over 24 years and you can’t get a better studio, as have so many other practitioners here, a sign of an amazing studio. All of the teachers are knowledgeable, kind and nurturing. Not every studio is like this. I have known Bobby, the owner, since his first days teaching and he always makes sure the studio is well kept and friendly. Don’t hesitate to come here and give hot yoga a try. It will transform your life : )

Took my first 60min Bikram class this morning with Bobby. Didn’t know what to expect and was a bit nervous. He was super welcoming and made me feel at ease. The class was awesome and I’ll definitely be back. Parking on the street was super easy for the early class.

Thank you to Fire Hot Yoga for making my first hot yoga experience so enjoyable! The studio itself was lovely and all the staff were so friendly, welcoming and kind. I was traveling and did not have a mat or towel for practice and Bobby so generously let me borrow both at no charge! The studio space was clean and the temperature felt perfect - the warmth and humidity felt so great on a chilly winter day! Maddie led us through a great class. I am so grateful for my experience here, from staff to other yogis, thank you to everyone I met!

Honestly aghast at what I experienced in this studio. I don't really mind if staff is polite or welcoming to new students, and as long as I feel challenged/expanded in my practice, I'm happy. However, not only were they passive and dismissive to someone who has literally never been there and knows where nothing is, the single Bikram 26+2 class I took was not difficult, unless you count having to breathe in a practice room that smells like a boiling boot part of the challenge. You could assume that I'm exaggerating, but please, be my guest and visit the space. It felt unsanitary and I was discouraged to take regular inhales.
Besides that, the instructor seemed ignorant and unfocused. In my 10 years of practicing vinyasa, I have never done such a random (and inconsequential) sequence of positions. There was no flow, no preparation for harder commencing positions, and no actual explanation of how to properly achieve the form. She was also a bit dictatorial about it. Like, if I don't want to follow your instructions, I'm by under no contract to continue doing what you're asking of me, and to assume (and say) that the reason I have stopped is because the position was too hard is just funny. I stopped doing what wasn't supportive of my practice. I saw tons of people falling out of intermediate positions because they were being given cryptic explanations of how to achieve them, which (besides being essentially unable to breathe) kept irritating me. If we had strengthened foundational transitions, I doubt this would be happening to what seemed like class regulars.
My friend does like this place and asked me to join her, so I mistakenly got a two-week trial. I personally have no interest in returning, and I would give my two-weeks to another friend that lives down the street, but I can in no good conscious send anyone here. I'm never straying from my beloved studio again (One Life Yoga! I LOVE you!!). Really. If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would.

LOVE THIS YOGA STUDIO! Worth every penny and more. The studio itself is very well maintained, the teachers are excellent, the owner is a lovely person. Not to mention the yoga itself is absolutely life giving. You will leave here feeling like you’ve just worked out really hard and simultaneously spent the day at a spa.

I walked into Fire Hot Yoga last August knowing nothing about yoga, hot yoga or 26/2 and they took me in from that starting point.
Unexpectedly, my life began an amazing new journey.
After practicing a month at Fire, my entire outlook had brightened — I exuded positivity.
Physically, my lower back pain and stiffness from scoliosis and osteoarthritis was gone… is still GONE.
It’s crazy that my practicing this yoga fixed what doctors had previously told me was a chronic condition and had set me on a lifetime course of taking anti-inflammatory drugs and pain meds. Now I am happily drug-free and feel great.
Yes, this sounds like I’m piling onto the mystical claims people attribute to yoga. But somehow it works and I still marvel at how amazing my body feels every day!
Seriously, thank you.
Fire is a community.
That’s one of the coolest takeaways from my time there.
I walked in alone and left with cherished friends and memories.
It’s just a pretty magical space.

I love this studio! Thanks to the new heater its hot as I can take and the teachers are really committed and enthusiastic during class. I really like the feel of the yoga room too its got great floors and a comphy environment. Humidity is always on point to, never too dry, never too wet. Apart from the 26+2/bikram series they have a bunch of other varieties of yoga have started to offer some Pilates classes which is cool. And at $125/month i basically pay $5/class because i go every week day. Really grateful to have such a high quality studio down the street from where i live :)

I had 2 awful experiences here:
1.Chilly room with inconsistent heat ESPECIALLY for the ENTIRE SECOND HALF OF CLASS.
2. Because of this canceled. They still charged me for a month and lied and told me they would refund it.. NOPE!
(Also would not call back after leaving Vms)

I have been doing a Bikram style hot yoga for 20+ years. I thought the 2 instructors I had were top notch (Kenna and Flora) for the 26+2 - 90 minute class. Very clear instructions, and commands for the postures, but also very detailed and tailored to the students to go deeper into the postures. A very fun class. Heat and humidity were good as well. If I am back in LA, I would come back here definitely!
