HOMTOWN Yoga is a great studio with very talented instructors. Madi, the owner, is a natural at building community and engaging students. A variety of classes and pop-ups keep things fresh and educational.

Wonderful little yoga studio!
I started attending Homtown’s outdoor classes in the park during Covid. Eventually we migrated indoors and I was so pleased with the studio, the classes, and the positive friendly vibe.
Every teacher I have had has been great.
I love the intermediate class the most because it is challenging and fun, and the room is warm but not dreadfully hot.
Both Maddie the owner and Geoff the instructor are serious about yoga but laid back and welcoming in their attitudes toward people.
I’ve been practicing yoga for 25 years and must say this is my favorite studio by far. It’s the perfect blend.

I have attended 230+ classes at this studio and have a membership. I am extremely happy with the entire business and will continue to as tend indefinitely.

The majority of the classes I attend are early weekday morning. I cannot say enough good things about how much it benefits me to start my day here. I wish there were more early morning classes so I could go every day of the week!

The studio is welcoming, friendly, and offers a variety of classes. Any issue I have ever had (all very minor) was addressed promptly and professionally. The level of instructors is exceptional and I absolutely have my list of favorites, as I know many of my classmates do as well.

Parking seems to be the only challenge for this studio. And it is mainly during evening classes that are highly attended and sought after, what a great problem to have!

Additional parking is available in the adjacent HHLA parking structure for free for 3 hours.

This is a gem of a small business that I cannot recommend enough. Everyone I know who has taken classes there has had an excellent experience.

Definitely check this place out!

my car got towed from their own lot when i was in a class. they told me this happens all the time. it cost $500 to get my car back. definitely not returning. namaste. love that the owner got snarky with me in the reply too lol. shows what kind of people you’re dealing with here 😇 namaste

Homtown Yoga is a hidden gem! The space is charming, inviting, and clean. I had a promo pass to try various classes and was so surprised by this yoga studio.

First, it was nice to have a yoga studio that provides parking. Second, each class was so relaxing and rejuvenating that I could conquer the day. Specifically, Geoff Talley's class was the perfect mixture of intensity and stretch. I really appreciate his wide music selection from yacht rock to classic rock to 90's hit music. It was the best yoga class!

I'd recommend his class and this studio to anyone who wants that intimate yoga experience that focuses on clients.

After losing my home in the Palisades fire, I relocated to Playa Vista — disoriented, heartbroken, and with a nervous system that had pretty much shut down. That’s when I discovered HOMTOWN Yoga, and I’m so grateful I did.🙏🏼🧘🏼‍♀️

From the moment I walked in, I felt seen, supported, and safe. Madi and every instructor (especially Thomas, Geoff & Toni) have created something truly special — it’s not your typical LA yoga studio. The classes helped me reconnect with my body, breathe again, get strong, and slowly feel at “home” in my new place. HOMTOWN has been a lifeline during one of the most difficult chapters of my life. I can’t thank them enough.

As of today, I have completed 200 classes at Homtown Yoga! I followed two of my favorite teachers here from another studio. Both were able to continue to teach classes that I thoroughly enjoy. With Geoff, I get challenging and powerful classes accompanied by an eclectic playlist of music. And don’t miss Geoff’s themed pop-up classes. With Thomas, I was thrilled that he found a new home for his innovative Yo-Box class. The class is the perfect mix of yoga and cardio – a must try. Overall, the studio has brought me a sense of community. It is small, but mighty. Madi, the owner, makes sure that every student that walks in feels welcome. As all Angelenos know, parking is a premium and I appreciate that there is parking for us and Madi makes sure that her students get the reserved parking provided. I am so happy I landed at this studio.

I’ve been attending hometown yoga for quite a while now, and I finally wanted to share my experience. The studio is amazing the floors are always clean, the instructors are incredibly helpful and talented, and parking is SUPER accessible for students attending hometown yoga! Would also like to add that there is reserved spots for only students attending hometown yoga, which is nice because a guarantees that you’ll always get a spot wwhich makes getting there stress-free. I’ve taken several classes and have enjoyed every one of them. I especially want to give a shout-out to the instructor Thomas. He led an absolutely thrilling class that combined yoga and boxing — such a unique and energizing workout! I left feeling challenged, refreshed, and already looking forward to the next session. I also want to point out that, while reading the reviews, I came across a recent one mentioning dirty floors and inaccessible parking. However, I did not experience any of those issues during my visit and would have to respectfully disagree. Everything was clean and the parking was easy to access in my experience.

HOMETOWN Yoga was the first studio I visited after moving to LA — and it instantly felt like home. I came for the great new member deal, but stayed because of Madi and Thomas, who welcomed me with genuine warmth and kindness.

Each class offers something unique — from calming yin to creative flows, twists and even boxing. The variety keeps things exciting, and I love that they’re always introducing something new. The flexible schedule makes it easy to stay consistent, even on busy days.

What I appreciate most is the sense of community. The support doesn’t stop when class ends — you really feel like you belong. I haven’t practiced with every teacher yet, but every time I’m there, I feel respected, cared for, and inspired.

Every time I finish one of Thomas’ YoBox classes, I tell myself I’m going to write a review and don’t get to it, but I’m finally doing it! This yoga studio has been so impactful to me and both my mental and physical wellness journeys. I have never been a yogi and was honestly intimidated whenever I’d do yoga but all the instructors I’ve encountered at HomTown have been amazing. Oleg taught me so much about breathing, form, and posture in his Slow Flow class. Thomas has such a kind and positive energy and he makes class fun and uplifting. I’ve noticed how stronger I’ve gotten, being able to hold my planks and side planks longer, and how much better I’ve gotten at my balance poses. Thomas’ YoBox class is my ultimate favorite (including other cardio, HIIT, and strength classes at other studios). Yes, the concept of yoga and boxing (and dancing) sounds unconventional but it’s such a great class, mixing balance and breathing with strength training. Madi, the owner, cares so much about the studio and building this community. She knows all our names and always takes time to chat with us. I’m so glad I joined this studio a little over a year ago - it has improved my mindset, my wellness, and my perception of yoga.

I actually love this studio so much. I’ve taken several classes here and Thomas was highly suggested to me as a yogi. When I finally got the time to join one of his sessions I immediately understood the hype. All the instructors I’ve experienced have been very careful and enlightening. I cannot wait for my next flow at HomTown. (Definitely gonna be doing there Sunday for YoBox w Thomas).

I wish everybody knew about this! Best yoga experience of my life. Super welcoming atmosphere. Parking is simple. The receptionist is super friendly. The instructor for my first session was Mr. Thomas. As a newbie to yoga and boxing, he gently eased me in to the flow of the class. I haven't sweat like that in a long time. Maybe ever! I am grateful to the entire team for welcoming me with open arms! Would definitely recommend 👌

I am in my 40s and my goal is to age gracefully through building strength and consistent movement. Homtown is the place that supports that goal and that supports me! There is so much diversity in body types, ages and abilities among the class participants and the teachers. I feel like I fit right in. All of the instructors take the time to get to know me and my needs/limitations. There is no pressure here to “perform” but rather to be mindful of your body and what it needs. I am so grateful to have found this community.

Perhaps we got started off on the wrong foot as the first time I showed up, the teacher was a no show with ten of us waiting in the parking lot at 8:30am on a Saturday. Madi quickly tried to correct that by refunding the class, but honestly my whole experience here has been subpar.

I can only take morning classes and the choices are VERY limited. I tried both Madi and Thomas and as a yogi and LA native practicing for ten years, I was just unimpressed. The classes feel unstructured without a clear vinyasa flow. Yesterday, the class I took led by Thomas was so random, with no vinyasa flow or sun salutations for the first 40 mins and then randomly he had us do one chair pose towards the end of class with options to do a vinyasa flow.

The class is ALL levels which is even stranger so it’s a total mixed bag. The studio works for someone who has never tried yoga before and wants to just try it out for the first time, but if you already have a practice, there’s fierce competition in my city with more options, more instructors and much better amenities in many other studios… They offer strange things like combining boxing and dancing with yoga… Sushi and fries anyone? As someone who has taken all three professionally and seriously (yoga, dance and boxing) this is really funny to me. Also don’t appreciate marketing texts at 9:30pm at night. Unfortunately I most likely won’t be back.

HOMTOWN Yoga has quite literally changed my life. I've been coming on and off since 2019 and the reason I keep coming back is the community of welcoming, support and compassion that Madi and her teachers have cultivated. There's never any judgement for falling off the face of the earth for months at a time (I know from experience!!), just a hug welcoming you back! It doesn't matter if you know a little or a lot about yoga, you will feel 100% supported coming here.

Madi the owner is super friendly and HomTown has a great variety of classes to offer. The Thursday afternoon ones are slow and focuses on breathing, which I think we all need in this fast-paced life. There is an unlimited 2 week deal for $49 - an affordable and great opportunity to audit the classes!

The studio has plenty parking. The location is in the quiet corner between the 405 entrances at Howard Hughes. Would recommend giving yourself time to locate the studio.

One of the best yoga studios i've been a part of! Maddi the owner is so thoughtful, kind, and really works hard at making the studio a happy community of yogis. She runs appreciation weeks and contests for great prizes and encourages everyone on their yoga journey. I've been practicing yoga for almost 15 years now, and have lived in Austin, New York City and London all with fantastic yoga studios, and this one is one of my top 3! The schedule is great, the class size isn't too crowded and I always find a parking spot. Facilities are clean and well maintainted and equipment is new and clean. I can't recommend it enough as a fantastic studio to join as you grow your yoga practice.

What a great yoga studio!

I came in with no expectations and was pleasantly surprised at how approachable, grounded and genuine the instructors and students were. Easy to get to, plenty of parking and very clean space. Homtown yoga offers a variety of classes and everyone can find something for themselves. I really love that the instructors got to know me and helped me progress in my practice. I went from barely doing any inversions to getting to assisted headstand and tripod in less than 2 months. Yes - my instructor Geoff cues these poses whenever I’m in class so lots of practice yay! I’m also stronger in all my poses because of the attention to detail, adjustments and the right amount of challenge I get from all my teachers. For context, I go 3-4 times a week and don’t practice yoga outside of class.

Homtown is not a corporate / franchise yoga studio (nothing against those I was a CorePower yoga member for a long time). But if you’re looking for a community and a place to grow your practice, this is a great option.

Hometown Yoga is such a vibe. I've found my happy place within the grind of Los Angeles. Moving from Hawaii my yoga practice was in limbo, and Madi her crew, and this beautiful studio have brought the Namaste back to my world.

Although it's only been one month I am centered and focused on a yoga lifestyle again.

Parking is free. The studio is clean and also smells great.

Since the moment I walked in this place felt like home, no pun intended. Madi, the owner is so welcoming and supportive of all her yogis and their journey. This is the opposite of the other yoga studios I have been to where you just feel like another number in the system. Every single teacher is unique and so intentional in their practice and I always leave feeling so grateful for the space created in my mind, body and soul. This studio also offers really amazing experiences like Yin + Soundbath which is my personal favorite. All of the instructors are amazing and have their own flow they bring to the mat that feels very welcoming and encouraging. Let's not forget the FRESH SQUEEZED orange juice Madi surprised us all with on the way out of class the other day or her saving a spot for me in the parking lot when I was running late to one of the classes. The only complaint I have is that I wish I could take more classes!

I'm so glad I found HOMTOWN Yoga. There is a variety of classes, Vinyasa Flow, Yin, Singing Bowls, Breathwork & a Slow Flow class, which are very different from each other. The instructors are very skilled and they pay attention to you. All the instructors gently adjust your poses which make a huge difference!

You can also talk to the instructors if you want to understand further about yoga philosophy & to let them know your challenges, so they can recommend poses best for you.

I have been doing yoga for many years, returning after a long break, and I learned I hold my hips tilted too much. After adjusting, I felt the energy release, and the strength of having the spine held right. I also learned my warrior stance needed adjustment so the thigh muscle should feel it. Many many more adjustments to speak of...

Its easy to get to and parking is available. Important!

Madi, the owner has made a comfortable environment for Yogi's of all levels. This studio is a huge part of my wellness journey...

You can choose live stream or in-person, and I love the Saturday outdoor rooftop classes at a nearby hotel (with a free mimosa afterwards!). I am so glad I found Madi and Homtown Yoga. The yoga teachers are all amazing, extremely trained and very diverse so you can find the style you like. I like the well roundedness of the yoga, I can get a really good workout, but also work on my breathing and meditation practice at the same time. There is a variety of classes that I love including a few soundbath and yin classes that I love to do after a hard vinyasa workout. The 2 week intro offer for unlimited classes is unbeatable, so it's worth it to at least do that and try a bunch of teachers and then you know what class you'll want or if you like it. But you will like it. Madi, the owner, is also extremely supportive and friendly and the whole studio has a community vibe which makes it very helpful to keep sticking with. Highly recommend! My mind body and soul benefit every time I go to HOMTOWN Yoga. Madi has put together the perfect combination of practices. The Yin Soundbaths are heavenly. The instructors are amazing and so knowledgeable. Class sizes are small so that you feel comfortable. You feel at ease the moment to step in.

A friend of mine introduced me to Homtown yoga a while ago & I’ve been hooked ever since. I love the outdoor class Sunday mornings at 10. It’s so peaceful and zen being out in the fresh air. And it’s continually a nice intimate group whereby we receive personalized attention by the wonderful instructors. I truly look forward to this class every week!

I love Homtown yoga! I'm so happy to find this studio. It is very welcoming. It's so nice to be able to practice in person again. The Vinyassa classes are very balanced. Great workout. I look forward to Studio growing and adding more classes. Little gem in the neighborhood.

I have so much positive things to say about this little yoga studio! First and foremost, Madi is very communicative at the beginning of every class on how the class feels about keeping the door slightly ajar or not. Proof of vaccination is required for everyone though wearing a masks is completely up to you. The vinyasa classes are a good mix of beginners to more intermediate poses, she is great with guiding you to listen to your body, not push too hard but also challenge yourself. I love that Madi makes me feel so at ease and even a bit silly, sometimes when we’re doing a balance pose, she’ll talk us through them but then lose balance and say “but don’t look at me” 😂 life is too short if not be a little silly.

What impresses me the most is that this yoga class also have a variety of sound bath and breathe work classes! Wow WOW!!!!!!! If you haven’t taken these, I highly highly recommend. I had a profound experience taking my first breathe work class with Robert. The sound bath with Vanessa was honestly the most incredible massage for my body, kind and soul. Thank you Homtown yoga for such a wonderful experience thus far, I will definitely be back!! Can’t WAIT for our Friday yin+sound bath class. Honestly, have you heard of such a marvelous duo?!?

Homtown has been my yoga home for the last 2 and a half years, invaluable during the lockdowns. I had jumped around studios for years until I found HŌMTOWN, pretty quickly I realized I'd found something really special.

Katelyn and Madi's classes have taught me so much and I'm so grateful for their thoughtful and creative classes. Never boring, always a present mindful and fulfilling class.

Can't rate HŌMTOWNhigh enough!

Robert Bahedry's breathwork class is extraordinary.. He's a gifted practitioner and the experience is a direct channel to an altered state. I know this sounds far out -- but my wife and I both feel it puts us into a state where we can experience the unity that underlies all life. Thank you, Robert Bahedry and Homtown!
